Regarding Origami Tobiichi's question—it could be answered, but simply saying it aloud would not be the best thod.

All Spirits are transford from humans.

When a human falls into extre despair, they may attract Spirit Power...

And thus beco an abnormal existence—a Spirit.

This is an undeniable fact.

Miku Izayoi was transford this way, and so were the other Spirits. However, if this truth were told directly to Origami Tobiichi—

This girl would undoubtedly fall into deep confusion and self-doubt.

The very beings she had hated and fought against all this ti... were actually just like her—of the sa kind.

Rather than telling her outright, it would be better to let her co to understand it herself.

So, Haruto phrased it differently.

"Origami, between the GOC and SCP, which do you think has the correct approach?"

Origami Tobiichi fell silent at this.

In the past—Origami had always believed that terminating all anomalies was the correct path. She had opposed SCP's approach of containnt and controlled interaction with anomalies instead of outright destruction.

Though she didn't hold the sa contempt for the SCP Foundation as other GOC mbers did—

She had, until now, always firmly believed in the righteousness of the GOC's thods.

But now... she was wavering.

Haruto noticed her hesitation.

"In my view, both organizations have their reasons, at least in terms of their intentions. This world isn't just black and white—it's made of refined shades of gray. That's beyond question. So, everything and everyone has two sides. But if I had to speak on which one is doing the right thing...

I'd say the SCP is more correct."

Origami was a bit confused by this statent.

Haruto didn't explain further—he just snapped his fingers and gestured for her to follow.

The two of them arrived at an empty containnt chamber within the recontainnt sector.

Although marked as vacant, the chamber was still in operational status. Any access command required matching authorization.

Clearly, sothing important was inside.

After confirming his identity, Haruto opened the containnt chamber's door.

They passed through three layers of specialized security doors before finally arriving inside the chamber.

Once they were inside, space fluctuations beca imdiately noticeable.

Of course, only individuals with spatial abilities could sense such things.

In fact, data parsed from Origami's personal armor contained world coordinate information.

Yes—Origami Tobiichi's parallel world already had the concept of "world coordinates."

This had taken the SCP Foundation by surprise.

But the reason was quickly uncovered—it was due to the "Spirits."

Spirit Power(Reiryoku), this anomalous trait, existed in a dinsion independent of the world. When a Spirit is born, Reiryoku pulls the new Spirit into that separate space.

For a Spirit to return—or rather, to enter the world—

If they cannot properly control their Reiryoku—

It will trigger a disaster known as a "Spacequake."

A type of fluctuation in the world's barrier.

And because of these "Spacequakes," that parallel world encountered the concept of world barriers prematurely and began to research space.

Unfortunately, due to limited technological developnt—even for the GOC—they had only managed to determine their own world's coordinates and detect fluctuations from the Spirits' independent dinsion.

And once world coordinates were acquired, it ant the SCP Foundation of the main world could access that parallel world.

That parallel reality was designated "Spirit" by the Foundation.

And now, Haruto was preparing to take Origami Tobiichi back to her parallel world to witness sothing.

Inside the chamber, Haruto officially opened a spatial gate leading to "Spirit."

But unlike before—this ti, the gate Haruto opened resembled the kind used in "The Dragon Was Here."

The two would enter the "Spirit" world in projection form.

The benefit of this approach was that Haruto could more easily attach power to Origami. And the space fluctuation caused by entry would be smaller, making it less likely to be detected.

After all, the technological level of the "Spirit" world was still far behind.

The two stepped into the world of the Spirits.

This ti, they would act as spectators—witnessing certain events.

—Spirit Parallel Reality—

The tiline was rewound to three months prior.

SCP Foundation, Site-19.

Foundation B-class personnel: Dr. Reine Murasa.

If Dr. Reine's colleagues saw what she was doing, they would surely think she had gone insane.

In truth, Reine Murasa had always acted sowhat abnormal.

But in this world, those who willingly stepped into the darkness to join the Foundation—most weren't exactly "normal" to begin with. Especially geniuses.

After all, the line between genius and madness is razor-thin.

Back to Reine.

She walked blindfolded into a containnt chamber located on the fourth basent level.

She groped along the walls, slowly inching her way forward.

She was too close.

So close that she could feel the thing's breath—its heat, its tension. It was like a decrepit air blower was churning right beside her ear.

And Reine knew exactly what that thing was.

If an ordinary person had known, they'd have been consud by fear.

Click.

The cara in Reine's hand clicked.

There was no flash.

Because if she were to see that thing—it would all be over.

No one had ever described what it looked like.

Because no one who had co this close to it... had ever made it back alive.

—Ti returned to the present—

Reine was now in her apartnt.

Her hands were tied behind the back of a chair, her body restrained.

In truth, her life was in danger.

A group of ard invaders had stord into her apartnt and taken her hostage. They'd bound her, blindfolded her—to prevent any information from leaking.

But really, these intruders acted without a care in the world.

They lounged freely on her sofa.

The man in charge even lit a cigarette and puffed leisurely. After taking a deep drag and exhaling the smoke—

This man...

A tall white male, muscular, with a distinct scar across his face.

He had a thick beard, and his hair was slicked back with gel—like a tough guy straight out of a movie.

"Dr. Reine Murasa, you've wasted an hour of my ti already. Frankly, we both know what the next step in this interrogation is. And it's not a pleasant one. So, to avoid that—stop pretending to be clueless and tell the storage location of the SCP-610 sample."

This man had a chanical voice modulator hanging from his neck—but he didn't bother to use it.

The invader had already smoked three cigarettes during the interrogation.

After a mont of silence—

Reine spoke.

"How long has it been since you returned to GOC headquarters? You probably haven't even heard the news yet. The Berlin Anti-Anomaly Weaponization Agreent has already been signed. Didn't your past failures knock any sense into your skull?"

Her voice was ice cold.

Even with voice modulators, she could still guess who they were.

Because aside from the GOC, no other organization would conduct such blatant anti-human operations.

"Hold her arm!"

The lead agent ordered.

The next mont, Reine's arm was pulled up.

A sharp knife slashed across her skin, blood trickling down her fingers—dripping onto the floor with a soft drip drip drip.

This was a tried-and-true torture thod used by these agents.

They knew that ordinary pain and suffering couldn't break SCP Foundation personnel. These lunatics had an inhuman tolerance for pain.

But being blindfolded and feeling your blood slowly draining?

That kind of psychological tornt struck directly at the brain.

That was the real reason for covering her eyes.

They didn't care if their faces were seen.

Rinne struggled to maintain her composure, but her body trembled slightly. One GOC agent dipped his finger into her blood and sared it across her cheek.

"Agreents... are just paper. And this one hasn't even been formally announced or implented. I doubt the Kremlin Senate is eager to push it forward too soon.

Besides... maybe you still don't get it—

That's all just paper. Power has never been in ink and signatures.

Dr. Reine... maybe it's ti I gave you a lesson—

A lesson about power."
