If the True Creator had chosen to stay and fight, Rowan rcer would not have minded finishing the matter then and there.

With Bixia holding the field, he could have continued refining his summons, gambling until he successfully called forth Qiongxia and Yunxiao as well.

Facing all three sisters wielding the Golden Dragon Shears and the Chaos Containnt Vessel...

Even the Ancient Sun God would have hesitated.

Rowan was preparing to withdraw and check on Silver City’s evacuation when sothing brushed against his perception.

His expression sharpened.

"Who’s there?"

He dissolved into fla and vanished.

Deep beneath Silver City, inside a forgotten prison chamber, an elderly man bound in chains murmured softly.

"So I’ve been noticed..."

He lifted his head.

"To kill the Angel of Fate and drive off the True Creator... you’re no ordinary Ancient Scholar."

Rowan appeared in front of the cell.

His gaze swept over the old man.

Then his eyes narrowed.

"Parasitized."

A pause.

"Error pathway. You’re Amon."

Amon.

The so-called second son of the Ancient Sun God.

Younger brother of Adam.

Born as an Angel King of the Error pathway.

In truth, a living incarnation of that pathway’s uniqueness.

A being who delighted in deception, mockery, and theft.

A figure known by many nas.

God of Mischief.

God of Fraud.

A ripple passed through the old man’s body.

A young man stepped out.

Black classical robes.

A crystal monocle resting over one eye.

He solidified into flesh and smiled.

"Oops. Caught already."

Amon studied Rowan with open curiosity.

"A re Sequence Three Ancient Scholar with spiritual power like this..."

"And your historical projection killed the Angel of Fate and frightened away the True Creator."

"Fascinating."

Rowan smiled faintly.

"You’re only a Sequence One from an adjacent pathway."

"Are you really not afraid I’ll kill you and take your uniqueness right now?"

Amon adjusted his monocle.

"Arrogant."

"You think defeating them ans you can handle ?"

Rowan raised a hand.

Clow Reed reappeared.

"Care to test it?"

Clow Reed lifted his staff, preparing a sealing spell.

Against an Angel King, Clow Reed still held the advantage.

Rowan simultaneously layered a massive barrier across the prison, isolating the battlefield.

Amon sighed.

"Steal."

He pointed.

Clow Reed froze.

Conflict flickered across his face.

"You can summon powerful historical projections," Amon said calmly.

"But as long as you’re Sequence Three, every ability you use can be stolen."

Rowan imdiately dispelled Clow Reed.

"Useful ability," Rowan admitted.

The Error pathway could steal nearly anything below its own standing.

Abilities.

Thoughts.

Distance.

Even abstract concepts.

But only when Rowan relied on Ancient Scholar powers.

Not when he used magic systems that originated outside this world.

Amon frowned.

He attempted to steal Rowan’s next intention.

Nothing happened.

"Hm?"

Rowan was suddenly behind him.

"Stealing everything eventually gets you beaten."

"Temporal Flood."

Amon activated his second authority.

Ti.

An ancient stone clock manifested overhead.

Three worm-like hands began to turn.

The world froze.

Yet Rowan grabbed Amon’s ankle.

Lifted him.

Slamd him into the ground.

Once.

Twice.

Again.

Amon’s eyes widened.

"My apologies," Rowan said mildly. "I’m quite good with ti magic too."

He swung Amon like a flail.

"I know another trickster god who enjoys being treated this way."

Amon struggled.

Nothing worked.

Finally, he laughed.

"You’re the first person to embarrass like this."

"We’ll et again."

His body collapsed into a writhing ti-worm and disintegrated.

Rowan straightened.

"A clone."

He had already noticed.

The presence had never reached true Sequence One strength.

Amon never traveled personally.

That was why even gods struggled to corner him.

Rowan looked toward the darkness.

"Next ti," he murmured.
