"Because we were the first to learn about Hydra's plans, we initially had the upper hand and even identified their leader, Pierce.

However, so ti ago, Hydra agents stole the Tesseract and used it to replicate energy weapons from the World War II era, catching us off guard.

We were left with no choice but to temporarily retreat from the Triskelion headquarters and hide in a safe house.

But who would have known that Hydra had already laid an ambush inside that safe house, with a group of Winter Soldier operatives waiting for us? We were hit hard in the surprise attack, suffering heavy casualties, and even Director Fury was killed.

In the end, only the few of us managed to escape the Winter Soldier's pursuit, and we had no choice but to seek help from you."

Black Widow shared the general situation with George, including Hydra's Insight Plan.

The so-called Insight Plan was originally a sche Pierce had used to deceive Nick Fury into sending three helicarriers into the sky to monitor the entire planet and prevent cri before it even started—a seemingly ideal plan.

In reality, however, Hydra, using Dr. Zola's algorithm, calculated all possible threats to Hydra's existence and planned to eliminate them before they could grow strong enough to pose a danger. This included using the helicarriers to deal with any nation that dared to oppose Hydra and ultimately unify the entire planet.

Before George could respond, Captain Arica, Steve Rogers, shook his head and said:

"You really shouldn't have retrieved that thing from the ocean!"

It was because of the Tesseract that Red Skull was able to strengthen Hydra—he knew this from firsthand experience.

Such a dangerous object, in his opinion, should have been left buried deep in the ocean, never to be found by anyone.

"Captain, you're right. If it weren't for Fury wanting to study the Tesseract to develop energy weapons, Hydra wouldn't have had the opportunity to steal it," Agent Coulson nodded in agreent.

Captain Arica was his idol, so whatever he said made sense. Coulson had never fully supported Fury's decision either.

He often felt that Fury's actions were sotis too aggressive.

"I don't think Fury was wrong, though. We just ca up short. If we had been the first to develop the energy weapons, we would have won, and Fury wouldn't have died," another middle-aged agent, with a cold expression, gritted his teeth and responded bitterly.

Coulson sighed deeply at his words.

"John, I know you're grieving over Fury's death, but... never mind. Right now, the most important thing is to stop Hydra's Insight Plan. There's no need to keep arguing about the past."

John was one of Coulson's best friends in S.H.I.E.L.D. They had worked together under Nick Fury, who was both their boss and their ntor.

So, Nick Fury's death was sothing George could understand, as he, too, felt deeply saddened.

"By the way, I haven't had the chance to ask your nas yet. What should I call you?"

When George heard the na "John," his heart suddenly skipped a beat, but he quickly smiled and turned to the dozen or so unfamiliar S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

The middle-aged agent nad "John" took the lead in introducing himself and the others.

"John Garrett."

"Grant Ward."

"Jemma Simmons."

"Leo Fitz."

"Alfonso Mackenzie."

"Barbara Morse."

"Well, no wonder you were ambushed. It turns out you had Hydra agents among you."

After everyone introduced themselves, George imdiately gave a cold smile.

While he wasn't sure about everyone, he could recognize John Garrett and Grant Ward. If he rembered correctly, these two were definitely Hydra spies.

The expressions of grief and anger over Nick Fury's death had clearly been fabricated. Their acting skills were impressive, and if George hadn't been paying attention, he might have been tricked.

As top-tier spies, exceptional acting was to be expected.

"George, a group of people has arrived near the school. They seem to be the Winter Soldiers they ntioned," Professor X said, pressing his hand to his temple and sending the images of what he saw directly to George.

Imdiately, George saw a group of highly ard soldiers with superhuman speed, carrying Hydra insignias. These soldiers were lingering around the school, unable to enter because of the Heartfelt Loyalty spell.

"It looks like there are at least two... possibly more, tracking the traces left by these Hydra spies," George mused.

"George, we need to act quickly. Hydra has taken over the Triskelion headquarters and obtained three helicarriers. They could launch them at any ti, and if they do, we won't stand a chance," Black Widow urged after seeing George's calm reaction.

Since she and George were closest in S.H.I.E.L.D., she was the only one who could speak this urgently without upsetting him. The others, like Maria Hill, were also showing anxious expressions.

"You're right, but before that, we need to eliminate so traitors. Otherwise, nothing we do later will succeed," George said with a smile, glancing over the agents before focusing on Garrett.

"How about we start with Mr. Garrett here? One by one, we'll take care of it."

As for the threat of the three helicarriers, George wasn't particularly concerned.

First, with the school's defensive capabilities and his presence, the helicarriers wouldn't pose much of a threat unless they decided to launch a nuclear strike directly at New York.

And frankly, the lives of the others didn't matter to him.

Secondly, in his view, the helicarriers weren't as powerful as Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. thought. Three ships weren't exactly an overwhelming force. The Earth wasn't as easy to control as they imagined.

Besides, there were hidden forces like the Eternal race. If the helicarriers launched an attack on these powerful beings, would they just sit back and take it?

What about the Ten Rings or the Ghost Rider? If mory served, Doctor Strange was also on the kill list.

Ancient One wouldn't allow Doctor Strange, the future Sorcerer Supre, to be taken out prematurely.

So, if the helicarriers really did launch, targeting all the threats on Earth, they might be destroyed before he even had to lift a finger. Others would take care of it.

Lastly, George was hoping to bring the X-Campus out into the open.

The location of the campus could remain hidden, but its students would eventually have to enter society, and they couldn't remain concealed forever.

So, the existence of X-Campus would inevitably beco known to the public and to governnts.

Let Hydra stir up more trouble. The more chaos they caused, the better, until every governnt was overwheld and unable to control the situation. Only then would the X-Campus step in to resolve it.

This way, the governnts would truly understand the strength of X-Campus.
