"Ah, so... it's dead already?"

George stared at the ashes of the Dentor, blinking in surprise.

He had only wanted to test whether the light magic from the Fairy Tail guild could have any effect on the Dentor. If it did, he wondered if it could repel it like the Patronus Charm, or even cause so damage.

But he never expected it to be so effective — one hit and it was gone.

"How am I supposed to explain this to the Aurors now?"

George scratched his head, feeling sowhat overwheld.

The thing is, although Dentors are considered dark creatures, they were still officially part of the Ministry of Magic's Azkaban guards.

Moreover, they hadn't attacked them like they did with Harry. On the train, they were simply performing their duties, and now George had just taken one out. It felt like there was no easy way to explain that.

But then, George had a second thought. It wasn't completely out of the question.

He suddenly rembered that the Ministry had not inford Hogwarts about this surprise inspection, nor had they notified the students on the train.

So, by the rules, if he saw a Dentor at the door and it stuck its head in, his instinctive reaction to defend himself wasn't unreasonable, right?

Besides, who could say that the Dentor hadn't attacked them? After all, the third-year carriage had already seen a Dentor attack Harry, which was an undeniable fact.

It seed that when the other Dentors heard the screams from their fallen comrade, they imdiately abandoned their searches in the other carriages and rushed over.

Dentors are intelligent dark creatures. They can communicate with wizards and even willingly cooperate with the Ministry to serve as guards at Azkaban, where they receive a steady supply of "food."

They later even negotiated with Voldemort to aid him in attacking Hogwarts.

So when they heard the panicked scream of their dying comrade, they naturally couldn't just ignore it.

When they entered the second-year carriage and saw the ashes of their fallen kin outside George's door, they let out an enraged scream, preparing to suck the life out of George and his friends.

"I'd advise you not to be so hasty."

George, seeing the situation, helplessly cast his light magic again:

"Light Field!"

A blinding light spread out from George, and the Dentors, sensing the threat to their existence from the holy light, scattered in fear.

This spectacle did not go unnoticed by the other young wizards in the second-year carriage.

With the commotion George caused, it was only natural that the other students in the carriage would be curious and peer over to see what was happening.

anwhile, the Aurors controlling the train's conductor at the front were also alard by the situation in the second carriage.

Rufus Scrimgeour, the head of the Auror office, ordered several Aurors:

"Go check out what's happening!"

Several Aurors imdiately Disapparated to the entrance of the second carriage.

"The Minister is truly wise; Sirius Black really is hiding on the Hogwarts Express!"

A middle-aged, plump witch with a pink hairpin, a pink bow, a frilly pink skirt, and holding a pink umbrella stood next to Scrimgeour. When she saw the commotion in the second carriage, her eyes lit up.

Scrimgeour's face darkened as he said:

"Umbridge, judging by the Dentors' behavior, it seems they didn't catch Sirius Black.

I feel that the Minister's decision to ignore Professor Dumbledore's objections and send the Dentors onto the Hogwarts Express was highly inappropriate."

He had never agreed with this mission from the beginning, but the Minister and Deputy Minister completely disregarded his opinion, stubbornly believing that Sirius would be hiding on the Hogwarts Express. They insisted he lead the search.

Umbridge's face slightly changed, and she spoke in a sharp voice:

"Scrimgeour, mind your position. You're the head of the Auror office, not a Hogwarts professor. Your job is to follow the Minister's and my orders.

In the magical world of Britain, the most powerful person is the Minister, not the headmaster of a school. You need to understand that."

"Professor Dumbledore is the greatest wizard of this century. His wisdom guides the wizarding world, and I hope the Minister and Deputy Minister will sotis listen to his advice," Scrimgeour replied, keeping his calm.

Scrimgeour responded sharply.

Umbridge, infuriated by Scrimgeour's reply, felt a sharp pain in her stomach, but she didn't know how to retort. In the end, she could only snort and let it go.

At that mont, a young Auror who had gone to investigate returned with a pop of Apparition.

"It's not that we found Sirius Black... It's... It's..."

"What is it? Stop stuttering!"

Upon hearing that it wasn't Sirius Black, Umbridge was even angrier. She could barely contain herself as she watched the young Auror stutter. She almost wanted to fire him on the spot.

"A second-year wizard killed a Dentor and scared off the others."

The young Auror quickly reported what he had found.

Both Scrimgeour and Umbridge stared wide-eyed.

"Say that again—A second-year wizard killed a Dentor? Are you sure your brain isn't broken?"

The Dentors, feared even by adult wizards and only driven away by a Patronus Charm, had been killed?

By a second-year student, no less? This was absurd—an impossibility.

Both of them doubted the young Auror's report and wondered if he had been deceived.

"A lot of the younger students saw it, and we confird it with the Dentor we brought back," the young Auror explained, though he himself found it hard to believe. But the investigation had turned out that way, and it wasn't just him; other Aurors had co to the sa conclusion.

"Take us to see it."

Still unconvinced, Scrimgeour and Umbridge followed the young Auror quickly to the second-year carriage.

There, they saw the remains of the Dentor on the floor and George, who was being interviewed by the Aurors.

"Hello, Mr. Scrimgeour."

Upon seeing Scrimgeour, George greeted him first.

After looking at George for a mont, Scrimgeour seed to rember sothing and pointed at him, saying:

"You... You're that little Dora."

Although George's appearance had changed a lot over the year, Scrimgeour recognized him.

After all, Tonks often ntioned George to him, and he had heard about George being selected for the International Quidditch team and receiving the French dal of Courage.

"It should be George now, right? What's going on here? Did you kill the Dentor?"

"Mr. Scrimgeour, I really didn't an to."

George quickly repeated the explanation he had made up earlier.

He didn't know that the Dentor was there to search for Sirius Black. He thought the Dentor was about to attack them, and he instinctively used the magic he had created to defend himself.

He never expected the Dentor to be so fragile—it ended up being killed in the process.

"Impossible! How could soone so young create a spell that can kill a Dentor? Are you in league with Sirius Black? He must have been hiding in your carriage, and after you killed the Dentor, he jumped off the train and escaped!"

Umbridge shoved Scrimgeour aside and began interrogating George.
