After being injected with the super soldier serum, Blonsky began to feel so strange side effects.
His muscles... appeared to be wasting away.
Standing in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection,
His expression darkened.

Skinny and gaunt, practically skin and bones.
This was nothing like the first ti he took the super serum.
Back then, his physique had been ripped,
It was like he'd beco ten years younger.
His entire body was brimming with strength.
But now...
His body looked,
Worse than it had when he was a normal 39-year-old.
Suddenly, he heard a strange sound behind him.
Blonsky couldn't tell what it was.
What he didn't see was,
His spine twisting and contorting beneath his skin...
Suddenly, it jutted outward.
He glanced over briefly...
Then quickly suited up in combat gear, grabbed his weapons, and boarded the aircraft.
Inside the plane,
A squad of soldiers was already geared up.
General Thaddeus Ross was among them.
A Black soldier standing nearby caught sight of Blonsky and called out loudly:
"Yo! How are you feeling, man?"
Blonsky grinned.
"Like a monster."
And with that, the aircraft took off.
Elsewhere,
Bruce Banner and his team were conducting an experint in Samuel Sterns' lab.
They loaded a vial of the prepared antidote into the machine...
Then secured Banner onto the platform.
And so, the procedure began.
Because the antidote needed to interact with Hulk's biology at full transformation,
They had Bruce intentionally trigger a transformation into the Hulk.
When Sterns saw the hulking green giant before him...
He froze in place.
Not from fear, but from overwhelming excitent.
After all,
As a Ph.D. in cellular biology,
This was his first ti witnessing a being like the Hulk.
Betty Ross, seeing his stunned expression, quickly reminded him to administer the antidote.
Only then did Sterns snap out of it and activate the machine.
As the antidote was injected,
The Hulk, like a living mountain, slowly reverted back into Bruce Banner.
It looked like the experint had worked.
"This is the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life!"
Sterns said, barely containing his excitent.
But soon after, during their conversation...
Bruce Banner noticed sothing odd.
Sterns had ntioned the phrase "test samples."
Sterns didn't try to hide it,
He explained the situation directly:
Apparently...
The blood sample Banner had mailed to him wasn't enough.
So Sterns had used it to synthesize dozens of vials of Bruce's blood.
An entire roomful.
He believed gamma radiation held limitless possibilities...
He even thought they might win a Nobel Prize for this.
"No."
"We have to destroy it all."
"What?"
"This stuff is too dangerous. It can't be controlled."
Bruce was resolute.
As the one who lived with this every day, he knew just how deadly it could be.
Sterns disagreed.
The two began to argue.
What neither of them realized was,
At that very mont...
General Ross had already surrounded the lab with his n.
There were even snipers stationed outside,
Although due to the building's layout, they didn't yet have a clear shot.
Blonsky, having taken the serum, was already charging ahead.
Even when General Ross, worried about his daughter, ordered him to fall back,
Blonsky ignored him and charged straight into the lab.
Ross, sensing sothing was off with Blonsky,
Headed to the lab himself.
Inside, Bruce and Sterns were still arguing,
When one sniper finally got a clear shot and tranquilized Bruce.
Then, Blonsky smashed into the lab.
He knocked Betty Ross aside with one blow.
Then shouted furiously at Bruce,
"Where's the Hulk?!"
He looked completely unhinged.
Because,
The serum had adversely affected his body.
And not just his appearance,
His emotions too were spiraling out of control.
Blonsky had beco violently unstable.
More soldiers arrived soon after,
They carried Bruce out on a stretcher.
Betty naturally followed them out.
General Ross walked up to Bruce...
And whispered coldly:
"If you try to take him from again, I'll lock you up for life."
By "him," he obviously ant the Hulk.
They had read Bruce's emails, and listened in on his conversations.
They knew Bruce and Betty wanted the Hulk gone.
Bruce, Betty, and Ross boarded the plane and took off.
Back in the lab, Ross's deputy remained with Sterns.
The two were chatting when,
Blonsky suddenly knocked the deputy out cold.
Then demanded the substance extracted from Banner's body.
After so threats and pressure,
Sterns gave in, agreeing to inject him with Banner's blood.
Truth be told, as a scientist, Sterns was curious to see what would happen.
After the injection,
Blonsky transford into a hulking monstrosity, the size of a small mountain.
