She turned and walked away, clearly dissatisfied with his evasive answers.

The interns followed her out.
Peter, seeing an opening, slipped away in the other direction.
As he hurried down a hallway, he accidentally bumped into a middle-aged man.

He crouched to pick up the man's dropped files—
and froze.

His heart skipped a beat.

The stranger entered a secured room, inputting a passcode,
then walked off with two others.
When the hallway fell silent,
Peter approached the sa door.
He replayed the passcode sequence in his mind,
typed it in carefully—
and the lock clicked open.
He stepped inside.
It was a sterile manufacturing chamber,
filled with rows of automated machinery.
He couldn't tell what they were producing.
After a few cautious steps,
he noticed a containnt unit filled with spiders.
Curiosity got the better of him—
he reached out to touch it.
The machine suddenly stopped,
and hundreds of spiders scattered out,
so falling directly onto him.
Peter panicked, brushing them off as quickly as he could.
Fearing soone might notice the malfunction,
he bolted from the room.
Back in the corridor,
he ran straight into Gwen Stacy again.
『Gwen Stacy』: "Alright, hand the badge."
『Peter Parker』: (awkwardly smiling) "Sorry."
He handed it over.
Just then—
One of the spiders that had fallen onto him earlier
crawled up his neck and bit him.
Peter flinched, but thought little of it.
Leaving Oscorp,
he boarded the subway ho.
While dozing off in his seat,
an old drunk resting nearby tipped a bottle,
spilling a droplet onto Peter's forehead.
Peter jerked awake—
and in a blink,
he sprang upward,
landing on the roof of the subway car.
Everyone inside gasped.
Monts later, a brawl broke out,
and Peter—still dazed and confused—
fought off five or six grown n with shocking ease.
When the train reached the final stop,
he hurried ho.
Once there, he scarfed down food,
then noticed strange bruises and marks on his body.
He searched online and found they matched spider bite wounds.
Not only that—
his body was changing.
His strength, speed, reflexes, and senses
had all been enhanced beyond belief.
