What made things even more amusing was that the Black Spider-Man—Miles—actually possessed invisibility.
Even though the kid had just "gone pro" and his "workmanship" was still rough, the invisibility alone allowed him to barely handle Kingpin's n during a chase.
Of course…
His little tricks were completely useless before Alex's x-ray vision.
But Spider-n—no matter how many—were nothing but gnats before Alex.
Even though Alex knew the Spider-n were plotting to sabotage Kingpin's collider experint, he didn't bother intervening.
He only needed Kingpin to run the collider again.
Once the Quantum Realm entrance opened, Alex would enter, retrieve Raven and the others, and that would be that.
After that, whether the Spider-n destroyed the collider or not had nothing to do with him.
"Rember—one week."
Retracting his thoughts, Alex left that sentence for Kingpin, then blurred—and vanished.
After Alex left, Kingpin's face grew dark.
As the underworld emperor of New York, he had never been threatened and dominated like this!
But he also understood—
with Alex's monstrous strength, Kingpin couldn't do a thing.
Though it was humiliating—
being abused like so third-generation grandson—
he had no choice but to "cooperate."
Fortunately, their goals didn't conflict.
Alex wouldn't interfere with the collider experint.
Alex wouldn't jeopardize his mission to save his wife.
And that was what mattered most to Kingpin.
Straightening his suit, he got back to work.
Even without Alex's warnings—
the second collision must begin in one week.
No one could stop it.
---
…
Doc Ock's attempt to capture the Spider-n naturally failed.
And during that incident, three Spider-n had already appeared.
Kingpin's face grew darker and darker.
Forget three—
even one Spider-Man had caused him endless trouble.
He fought Peter Parker countless tis before finally killing him.
But now there were three!?
If it were normal tis, he wouldn't worry too much.
He had strength.
He had manpower.
But the problem was—
Alex had killed most of his elite subordinates.
Aside from Doc Ock—who Alex had spared—only the Green Goblin was still around.
Even adding his remaining n, dealing with three Spider-n would be difficult—
and too many uncertainties might derail the collider plan.
What Kingpin didn't know was—
It wasn't three Spider-n in this universe.
It was six.
Naturally, the plot progressed.
Kingpin pushed the collider preparations with all his might while using enormous manpower to hunt down the Spider-n.
But Spider-n weren't amateurs.
They were all "interdinsional visitors" who hadn't left many traces in this world.
Finding them within seven days was nearly impossible.
Even when the preparations were fully complete, and the collider was about to activate, Kingpin still had no clues.
But even so, nothing could make him hesitate.
The collider experint proceeded as planned.
And Alex—
of course—
appeared at the scene again.
Appeared right inside the collider's control center.
---
"Kingpin, everything proceeds as usual?"
Alex glanced at the technicians working calmly and turned to Kingpin for confirmation.
"Everything's normal. Collision will begin in twenty minutes."
Doc Ock replied confidently.
Alex nodded. "Good."
"But…"
Doc Ock suddenly changed tone.
"We may have a small problem. The Spider-n will definitely try to sabotage the collision."
The corner of Alex's mouth curved upward.
So this was Kingpin's plan—
to use him as a gun?
Let Alex deal with the Spider-n for him?
But to be fair…
The Spider-n would be a problem for Alex.
At least until the quantum gateway opened, he couldn't allow them to interfere.
And since Alex had killed most of Kingpin's forces, they really didn't have the strength to hold back the Spider-n.
"Leave the Spider-n to .
Just focus on the experint."
Alex decided imdiately.
Kingpin and Doc Ock both felt their hearts settle.
With soone like Alex—
a walking natural disaster—
what did Spider-n matter?
Of course, what they didn't know was—
Alex wasn't planning to kill the Spider-n.
Just… stall them.
The Spider-n were doing the right thing.
Alex had no reason to truly stop them.
---
"Collision entering one-minute countdown."
"Fifty-nine… fifty-eight…"
Soon, the preparation ended, and a chanical announcent echoed through the control center.
Alex, Kingpin, and Doc Ock stood behind a massive observation window, watching the colossal collider tunnel begin to hum and activate.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
And sure enough—
Several figures in costus swung in through spiderweb lines, latching onto the walls.
"Spider-Man!"
Kingpin's face instantly turned pitch-black, almost dripping ink.
The last thing he wanted was Spider-n interfering.
And now here they were.
Not three—
six.
Even though a few looked like they'd been drawn in different art styles, one thing was unmistakable—
They all swung on webs.
Every single one of them
was Spider-Man.
Six at once!
Damn it.
With his current manpower, fighting three Spider-n was hard enough.
Six was impossible.
"Alex, if you don't want them ruining your chance at entering the Quantum Realm, then take care of them—all of them."
Kingpin turned to Alex.
Alex simply smiled, saying nothing.
Then—
his body blurred.
CRASH!!
He smashed through the observation window and flew outside.
---
"Okay, guys—so I'm gonna plug this thing into—"
On the wall outside—
Six Spider-n were huddled together, discussing their next step.
Suddenly—
a blast of air pressure swept past them.
Their spider-sense went wild.
WHOOSH!
All six Spider-n froze mid-action and instinctively turned toward the source.
They saw—
A young man with an East Asian face
floating effortlessly beside them
