"Doctor, don't!"

Barry imdiately shook his head at Wells.

"We'll find another way to save your daughter—I promise!"

Vzzzt—

Before Barry could finish, an invisible force wrapped around him.

His whole body suddenly lifted off the ground, weightless.

Alex had simply raised a hand—

Telekinesis.

"Barry, don't ddle in my business," Alex said casually, holding him midair.

"Or I might get angry."

Barry's team collectively froze with wide eyes.

They had assud Alex was just another speedster like Barry.

But telekinesis?

That changed everything.

A speedster whose speed far exceeded Barry's—

and possessed additional superpowers?

That was beyond terrifying.

It also ant Alex's chances of defeating Zoom had just skyrocketed.

"I'll cooperate!"

Harrison Wells instantly made his decision.

That single telekinetic gesture told him one thing:

Alex could restrain a speedster.

Speedsters were hard to fight because they had to stay grounded.

Their speed ant nothing if their feet couldn't touch the floor.

Lift them off the ground?

They were helpless.

Even if Alex's speed couldn't match Zoom's, this ability alone could defeat him.

For the first ti, Wells saw hope—

Hope of defeating Zoom.

Hope of saving his daughter.

There was no way he'd let this chance slip by.

"Then let's go, Doctor."

Alex lowered Barry back to the floor, then gestured for Wells to follow.

"My apologies, everyone. For my daughter… I have no choice."

Wells said goodbye to Team Flash and left with Alex.

Barry and the others could only watch him go—they knew nothing could stop this now.

---

Preparing the Device

Over the next days, Wells and Alex worked nonstop.

Well—Wells worked.

Alex shopped.

Because all Wells needed was equipnt.

Very expensive equipnt.

International, high-grade scientific instrunts—

the kind that took ti to acquire.

This annoying chore delayed Alex for half a month.

But Wells, being Wells, did not disappoint.

Once the equipnt arrived, he successfully recreated a speed extraction device.

A tiny, button-like gadget.

Stick it onto Zoom, let Zoom run…

And the device would capture the stolen speed.

After that?

Alex only had to inject the extracted speed into himself.

Yes, inject speed.

Speed—an intangible concept—was strangely physical here.

Which convinced Alex more and more:

They weren't stealing "speed."

They were stealing the Speed Force.

Otherwise, how could speed take physical form?

---

"Alex, I've done everything you asked. I hope you'll keep your promise."

Wells handed the device to him with a steady gaze.

"Of course. We can begin imdiately," Alex replied.

"The entrance to Earth-2 is in S.T.A.R. Labs. We have to go there."

"Back where we started, huh?" Alex smirked.

He wrapped Wells in telekinesis.

"Then let's go."

BOOM!

A sonic boom echoed.

Wells blinked—and suddenly found himself back inside S.T.A.R. Labs.

Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin were all there.

Seeing Alex appear out of nowhere, they imdiately understood:

The mission was starting.

"Long ti no see, Dr. Wells. So… you're heading to Earth-2 now?" Cisco asked.

Smart as he was, he already knew the answer.

"Yes. We're going now," Wells confird.

Cisco, Barry, and Caitlin exchanged looks.

None of them tried to stop him—but they were worried.

So they insisted on going with him.

Alex felt speechless.

If everyone was going to Earth-2 anyway, why bother resisting earlier?

He could've avoided wasting half a month!

But fine.

They all walked to the glowing energy vortex at the center of the facility.

And jumped in.

---

SHOOOSH—

A dizzying blur later—

They stood in another world.

No—

Another universe.

"Earth-2…" Cisco muttered, glancing around.

"Is it just , or does this universe feel… oppressive?"

"Cisco!" Caitlin hissed. "We're here on business. Try to act serious."

"So—what's the plan?" she asked, looking at Alex and Wells.

"How do we find Zoom?"

Wells imdiately looked at Alex.

Because the decision to co now had been Alex's, not his.

Alex closed his eyes and activated his super hearing—

Blanketing the entirety of Earth-2.

He listened for anything unusual.

Sadly, nothing.

But that didn't matter.

He had a simpler, more effective thod available—

Now that Barry had co along.

"Barry," Alex said, turning to him.

"I need you to run two laps around the city."

Barry blinked.

Alex's logic was simple:

Alex's speed surpassed Barry's—

but Alex didn't generate lightning.

If they wanted to attract Zoom in the shortest ti possible—

The Flash was the perfect bait.
