Beep beep beep! After carefully reviewing the mission logs himself, Talo continued operating the panel.

He transmitted all the undercover agents' mission logs to Yon-Rogg, who was far away on Hala.

And then...

Talo frowned, sinking into deep thought.

The mission logs clearly showed that even on the day they mysteriously disappeared, these undercover agents were carrying out their missions normally. They hadn't noticed anything suspicious or anyone suspicious.

So, what exactly had happened to them?

Talo was utterly perplexed.

He sensed the situation might be more complicated than he had initially imagined.

Beep beep beep! Before long, Yon-Rogg sent a communication request to Talo. Naturally, Talo accepted imdiately.

A projection of Yon-Rogg instantly appeared in his field of vision.

Of course, this projection was invisible to others; only Talo could see it.

It was similar to the interface Tony Stark saw when wearing his Iron Man suit.

"Their mission logs show no abnormalities," Yon-Rogg voiced the exact sa doubt as Talo.

"Yes, sir."

"Any other findings?" Yon-Rogg asked again.

"Who's there!"

Just as Talo was about to answer, a sharp shout from a Kree soldier outside cut him off.

"Sir, please hold on a mont!"

After a brief hesitation, Talo acknowledged Yon-Rogg, then led the soldiers inside the ship out to investigate.

They discovered that two human soldiers had spotted them.

Talo imdiately breathed a sigh of relief.

He had thought sothing serious had happened, but it was just two natives from C53.

In front of their elite Kree warriors, these were re ants, completely insignificant.

At that mont, the two native soldiers were holding laughably primitive toy guns, instinctively aiming them at the Kree soldiers.

Simultaneously, their eyes kept darting toward the incredibly advanced Kree warship nearby, their faces filled with shock.

"Who are you?"

One of the soldiers, a woman, asked, her voice tight with barely suppressed shock and a trace of nervousness, her eyes fixed intently on the Kree soldiers.

It was clear the warship, far surpassing Earth's civilization, was severely impacting her worldview.

If Alex had been there, he would have recognized this female soldier: it was none other than Carol Danvers, the person he had asked Charles to monitor.

About half an hour earlier, the military base where Carol was stationed had detected an unidentified flying object passing through a no-fly zone at an incredible speed, far exceeding any known air force aircraft.

So, Carol Danvers had been sent to investigate what this UFO was.

Frankly, before arriving, Carol had all sorts of guesses, but she never expected it to be such an advanced aircraft.

"Kill them!"

Talo didn't even acknowledge Carol Danvers. He coldly issued the order to his subordinates.

Carol Danvers and her comrade both paled upon hearing this.

They imdiately raised their guns and opened fire on the Kree soldiers.

The sharp reports of gunfire rang out.

But at the sa ti—

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Several energy bolts also shot towards Carol and her comrade.

After a brief mont of chaos, the area quickly fell silent.

Carol's comrade clutched his neck, convulsing on the ground, unable to stem the fountain of blood spurting out.

Carol herself had been hit in the chest and was severely wounded.

Her vision blurred, life ebbing away like sand through an hourglass.

With great effort, she lifted her head and saw that a Kree soldier she had injured was bleeding blue blood.

That wasn't the color of human blood at all!

"What… are you?" Carol Danvers asked with imnse difficulty, staring at Talo and the others.

Everything that had happened today felt like a tidal wave crashing against her nerves.

Without understanding these answers, she felt she would die aggrieved.

But unfortunately.

No one paid any attention to a dying person like Carol.

"Sir…"

Talo simply turned around and walked back towards the ship, completely dismissing the two ants.

Boom! But at that mont, a sonic boom suddenly sounded, followed by a violent gust of wind.

The Kree soldiers felt a blur before their eyes. Before they could even react, they saw a new figure had appeared on the scene.

"What's going on?"

The Kree soldiers were all startled. This person… had flown here!

You must be joking! Since when could natives of C53 fly?

"Who is this person?"

Even Yon-Rogg, who was watching everything through the feed from Talo's communicator, was stunned.

Without a doubt, the person who had suddenly appeared was Alex.

After arriving, Alex glanced down at Carol and saw her injuries were very, very severe.

Without prompt treatnt, she could die at any mont.

Given that, Alex didn't waste any ti.

"Who are you?"

Talo's voice rang out. He stared intently at Alex, his face full of gravity and wariness.

Although this person looked like the natives of C53, he exuded a suffocating pressure.

A pressure he hadn't even felt facing soone as powerful as Yon-Rogg.

Sssss! Why would Alex bother talking to these small fries?

He ignored them completely. Intense heat rays erupted rcilessly from his eyes, sweeping fiercely across the Kree soldiers.

Screams and cries of fear instantly erupted.

Where Alex's heat rays passed, the powerful Kree soldiers fell like fragile pieces of paper, their bodies sliced apart and burning.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! The remaining Kree soldiers also attacked Alex imdiately.

But unfortunately, their energy guns were useless against him. Hitting Alex felt like tickling him.

It had no effect whatsoever.

In this situation, in the blink of an eye, all the Kree, including Talo, were killed by Alex.

The forest once again fell into silence.

Carol, lying on the ground with blurry vision, saw the stranger standing amidst the fallen aliens.

She struggled to hold on to consciousness, her last thought a mix of awe and confusion:

Since when… are Earthlings this strong?
