A shimring, translucent barrier erupted in front of the mutants, stretching wide like a do of rippling light.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The energy blasts slamd into it—one after another—blinding flashes lighting up the battlefield as if dozens of suns had exploded at once.

But not a single blast got through.

Not one.

Behind the shield, the mutants stared in awe, mouths agape.

> "He blocked all of that… without even moving."

Darwin's voice trembled with disbelief.

> "That was telekinesis?" Cyclops muttered, almost unsure if he was still awake. "No way…"

Not even Jean could've done that.

Erik, who had instinctively tried to react before realizing his powers were useless, looked toward Alex with rare, visible astonishnt.

> "You weren't holding back before," he said quietly. "You've gotten stronger."

Alex didn't answer. His focus remained on the Decepticons ahead.

The forcefield shimred, then slowly faded as he lowered his hand.

> "Now," he said simply, "it's our turn."

A beat of silence.

Then—

BOOM!

Alex launched forward like a thunderbolt.

"Scatter!" Wiper roared, panic creeping into his synthetic voice.

The Decepticons broke formation, trying to avoid what they all knew was coming.

Too late.

CRASH!

Alex slamd into the first Decepticon with enough force to send it rocketing across the battlefield—arms and legs twisting unnaturally as it bounced off the earth like a broken toy.

Whoosh!

He turned mid-air, spinning with precision, and flung a burst of kinetic energy at another group.

BOOM!

Three Decepticons were launched into the air, their armor warping and splitting as if crushed by invisible jaws.

"Get back! Get away from him!" Wiper shouted again, retreating even as he raised his cannon to fire.

Too slow.

Alex appeared in front of him like a ghost and struck.

CRACK!

Wiper's arm cannon was ripped clean off—his scream chanical and ragged.

"You want to fight mutants?" Alex said coldly. "Then fight ."

Before Wiper could react, Alex drove his palm forward.

BOOM!

Wiper went flying—his body folding inward as he crashed into a transport truck, flattening it.

> "This is insane…" Hawkeye mumbled, watching the carnage unfold. "He's not a mutant. He's a walking extinction event."

> "We don't even need to fight anymore," Earthmover added, stunned. "Just stay behind him and cheer."

> "He's not a soldier…" Slash said slowly. "He's a goddamn weapon."

The rest of the Decepticons were finally starting to break.

So turned to flee. Others fired blindly, trying to suppress their own terror.

But nothing worked.

Alex moved too fast, hit too hard, and blocked everything they threw at him.

The air itself seed to bend around him—each motion rippling with enough power to shatter tanks and rip tal like paper.

One by one, the Decepticons fell.

So exploded.

So were torn apart mid-transformation.

So were simply crushed by invisible force—reduced to heaps of twisted scrap.

The battle—if it could even be called that—lasted less than a minute.

And then...

Silence.

The battlefield was covered in smoke, burning wreckage, and the remains of what had once been the Decepticons' proudest strike force.

Alex landed quietly, dusted off his jacket, and looked back.

The mutants—Erik, Charles, Liz, Cyclops, Vincent, Darwin, Slash, Earthmover, Hawkeye—just stared.

No one said a word.

There was nothing to say.

> "Critical mont, huh?" Alex finally murmured. "Guess that's when I show up."

A pause.

Then Erik laughed.

> "You always did have a sense of timing."

Charles stepped forward, his eyes full of complex emotion.

Pride.

Awe.

And maybe… just a little fear.

> "Thank you, Alex," he said softly.

Alex gave him a slight nod.

But inwardly, he was already thinking ahead.

Because this?

This was just the opening act.

gatron was still out there.

And worse… so was the Fallen.
