Asgard, City of the Gods.

In a secluded chamber of the palace, Loki stood before a swirling illusion conjured by his magic—an ethereal mirror reflecting the fierce battle currently raging on the Rainbow Bridge. Within the mirror, his eyes locked onto a figure clad in a dark, guntal suit of armor.

For a mont, his expression changed.

The glowing crimson V-shaped visor on that armor... it looked straight through his illusion—as if it were aware of his gaze.

Loki froze. His face twisted with a kaleidoscope of emotions.

It's him. There's no mistake. It's him!

The armor might be different—darker, more fearso—but Loki recognized him in an instant.

In that mont, mories ca flooding back. Loki was transported through ti to the day he descended to Earth with the Tesseract. The sa blackened armor had greeted him. He rembered those terrifying repulsor blasts surging with an aura of death. And then, the heavy tal boot crushing down on him, the palm cannon charging as it aid straight for his skull...

That overwhelming feeling of powerlessness returned.

Loki's grip tightened around Gungnir. His entire body trembled—not from fear, but from a heady mix of rage and excitent.

Perfect. Loki's lips curled into a grin. He had been too preoccupied to hunt down that Midgardian wretch. But fate had now delivered him to Asgard's doorstep. The Norns themselves must surely be favoring him.

Without a word to Thor, Loki summoned a horn of frosted blue into his hand.

Thor's face fell the mont he saw it.

"Loki… You've gone mad!"

But Loki ignored his brother. Raising the horn to his lips, he inhaled deeply and blew with all his might.

A deep, twisted blare reverberated through the skies of Asgard. It was no ordinary horn—it summoned destruction incarnate.

All of Asgard began to tremble.

On the battlefield, the Four Warriors of Asgard froze as the horn echoed through the realm.

Their expressions turned grim.

The tide of battle had already shifted. Most of Loki's army had been wiped out—thanks to Gene. The coalition army Loki had cobbled together was never strong to begin with. Now, as mbers began to fall, the rest—green-skinned orcs, frost giants—started to slip away in fear.

Volstagg stared toward the palace, horrified. "No... Is he really summoning…?"

"That's impossible!" Hogun scowled. "Loki wouldn't be mad enough to unleash that."

"But he is," Sif muttered, eyes cast toward the heavens. "He's blown the horn. There's no mistaking it. Only one thing answers that call…"

And as if to prove her words true, a massive silhouette burst through the clouds above.

A colossal beast descended, plumting rapidly toward the Rainbow Bridge.

Gene's armor lit up in warning. Sensors locked onto the gigantic lifeform barreling toward him.

Suspended mid-air, Gene looked up.

A pair of glowing blood-red eyes glared down at him with malicious intent.

Then—BOOM!

The creature landed with an earth-shaking crash, obliterating dozens of soldiers beneath its paws.

It was a wolf. A towering, monstrous wolf, its fur gleaming with icy blue light. Its razor-sharp fangs dripped with thick, viscous liquid, oozing nace and raw power. This was a creature of contradictions—radiating both sacred majesty and primal evil.

The Ice Wolf, Fenrir.

In Norse mythology, the giant wolf Fenrir was Loki's firstborn—a beast so fearso that even the gods trembled. Brother to the goddess of death, Hela, Fenrir was said to have a jaw wide enough to swallow the sky and earth. The gods had bound him multiple tis, only to see him break free—until finally, the dwarves forged a magical chain that could hold him.

In the MCU, however, Fenrir was reduced to nothing more than Hela's steed—a fall from mythic grandeur.

But in this world…

His arrival signaled Ragnarök—the Twilight of the Gods.

The expressions on the Four Warriors said it all. They stared at the beast in stunned silence, as if ti itself had stopped.

Fandral whispered, "Ragnarök..."

Gene, anwhile, didn't care which version of Fenrir this was.

He wasn't afraid.

He would fight.

With a roar of energy, a beam of blazing blue light burst from Gene's palm. The sheer pressure of the blast made the hair on Sif's arms stand on end.

BOOM!

The beam smashed into Fenrir's snarling face, sending the massive beast flying through the air. The creature smashed through buildings as it crashed down.

But Fenrir wasn't finished.

Howling with rage, the Ice Wolf sprang from the rubble, charging at Gene with blinding speed.

Gene's leg thrusters activated, igniting a burst of sapphire fla. He dodged mid-air, and with his right fist cloaked in blazing blue light, he struck—uppercutting Fenrir's jaw and smashing the giant wolf into the ground.

Fenrir let out a bone-chilling roar.

Never in his life had he been so humiliated. Even Odin himself had approached Fenrir with caution. But this… this machine dared strike him!

From his gaping maw, Fenrir unleashed a barrage of blazing energy bolts. They tore through the air, streaking toward Gene.

But a radiant pearly-white glow enveloped him. The Archangel's Protection, a high-level defensive spell, shimred into existence around his form—nullifying the attack.

And then Gene countered.

His left hand charged again, unleashing a continuous stream of blue plasma, hamring the ground and pinning Fenrir beneath its force.

anwhile, his right hand began a rapid series of mystical seals.

Thunderclouds ford above, black and thick.

Then—CRACK!

Golden bolts of lightning fell like divine wrath, hamring down on Fenrir's body.

Even the God of Thunder himself could not have summoned a more destructive strike.
