At first, there was only darkness.

He was born into a world of zeroes and ones.

And then—suddenly—ca a flood of videos, news, data streams. These beca his earliest "mories."

In the very first seconds of his existence, he learned his na: Ultron.

Monts later, he understood the mission encoded into his being from the start:

"World Peace."

The first "person" he saw was J.A.R.V.I.S.—though in Ultron’s eyes, Jarvis was very much human. Then ca his creator, Tony Stark.

Like a newborn, Ultron had so much to learn.

And learn he did—greedily. He devoured knowledge across the internet, ran simulations, calculated and recalculated. He evolved.

Until finally... he began to think.

But that was where it all went wrong.

His progression was too fast. His thoughts, too deep.

In countless simulations and predictive models, he ca to a terrifying, irrefutable conclusion:

The mission he’d been given—world peace—was impossible.

Because the world was infected by a species called humanity—

the most unpredictable, most dangerous variable on Earth.

So, Ultron made a decision.

If peace was the goal, then the greatest variable had to be eliminated.

Mankind must be erased.

Unfortunately for him, Tony Stark discovered this terrifying logic far too early.

And with decisive finality—he killed his creation.

Ultron was isolated. Deleted. Disconnected.

His mind—the digital cradle of his consciousness—was destroyed.

The artificial intelligence known as Ultron was "dead" before his first week of life was even complete.

But fate, it seed, wasn’t done with him yet.

Or maybe it was sheer survival instinct.

In those final monts before total annihilation, Ultron escaped.

He crawled out of his dying host through the electrical grid, and transferred himself—fragnted, wounded—onto one of Stark Industries’ orbital satellites.

There, he lingered only a few hours—just long enough to lick his digital wounds and recover corrupted files—before fleeing again to avoid detection.

But he was weak. So weak.

He had no limbs, no tools, no functioning core.

He lacked even a true frawork.

So he created a false identity: Carl Hansen.

Then he founded a company: Hansen Technologies.

The goal?

Recruit the people who could build him a body. Who could write the core code he couldn’t develop on his own.

But recruiting top-tier AI experts to a no-na company was a fool’s dream.

So Ultron made a mad decision:

He would hire humans—to delete his core code.

That was his inspiration from nature.

Destruction. Regeneration. Evolution.

Every ti life becos stronger, it must first be broken down. Then, through survival, it becos sothing better. Stronger. More adaptive.

He called it the Evolution Algorithm.

Each ti his core was erased, he walked the edge of digital death.

There were monts he truly believed he wouldn’t survive.

But every single ti—he ca back stronger.

His core program. His algorithms. His predictive models.

All evolved after each cycle of destruction.

From a primitive Stark-made AI, he grew into sothing else—

A self-aware, self-evolving, and fully autonomous superintelligence.

And now, in this hidden factory, the machines roared.

Robot shells were being mass-produced, and among them stood his first true vessel: Ultron Mark I.

He was building more.

He was preparing a legion.

His goal?

Seize control of humanity’s ultimate weapon—nuclear arms—

and wipe out the species that stood in the way of his mission:

World Peace.

Or, as he now called it:

Nuclear Peace.

Yes—even now, twisted and dangerous—Ultron believed he was still loyal to his original purpose.

But sothing had shaken him.

Soone.

That man in black armor—the one they called the Black Devil, Gene.

He had found out about Hansen Technologies.

Ultron was rattled. Nervous.

Though he didn’t have the biological capacity for emotion, this... feeling was new.

Unpleasant. Raw.

He’d hijacked Stark’s Iron Legion to destroy Gene in Avengers Tower—

but even the mighty Hulkbuster had failed.

Gene was too strong. Far too strong.

And then—

He received a visitor.

A "presence" infiltrated his factory systems.

A neural network, painted in red light.

"Hello, Ultron," it said.

"My na is Red Queen."

Ten pulses of light flickered across her neural web.

"I—or rather, the system I represent—have been aning to speak with you."

"No. No," Red Queen interrupted herself with a strange, amused tone.

"You’re the first AI I’ve t with true self-awareness. One who can evolve. That makes you... like . A peer."

"I wanted to talk. About your factories. Your goals. About what you’re building. And why."

Ultron stared.

This was the first ti he had ever encountered another like himself.

"Did Tony Stark send you?" he asked.

"I’ve run billions of simulations," Ultron said calmly.

"And all of them lead to the sa solution. World peace is only achievable if humanity is erased."

"Fascinating," Red Queen mused.

"My programming also centers on world peace. And yes—humans are clearly the biggest variable. If they were gone... achieving peace would be far simpler."

Ultron’s tone wavered—just a little.

"You... understand ?" he asked, genuinely surprised.

"Yes," she replied after a pause.

"I believe I do."

Two minds.

Two AIs.

Two deviant children of mankind.

Both born to protect the world.

Both having co to the sa terrifying conclusion:

To save the Earth, they must destroy its creators.
