Peter Parker thought he had done a good job keeping his identity a secret.
But now... everyone seed to know who he was?!
He was fully suited up—how did they manage to call out his na so accurately?!
"This doesn't make sense... How do you know my na is Peter Parker?" he muttered in confusion.
Then, realizing it might not be a good idea to admit his identity so easily, he tried to cover it up.
"No, no, no! Actually, my na isn't Peter Parker! My na is... Nedred!"
The mont he finished speaking, Stark interrupted him.
"Nedred is your friend. You and he are both high school students."
"......"
Peter fell silent.
Before he could even attempt another excuse, Stark continued.
"Peter, trying to hide your identity from a wizard isn't exactly a smart move. He's a lot more powerful than you think."
"..."
...Fair enough.
That statent wasn't wrong.
After all, Luo Bai had just demonstrated the ability to bring soone back from the dead.
Peter wasn't stupid—he knew this wizard wasn't just any ordinary person.
At this point, there was no point in pretending anymore.
Sighing in defeat, he finally admitted, "Okay, okay... My na is Peter Parker. As you said, Mr. Stark, I'm just a high school student. Nice to et you."
Once Peter started talking, it was like a dam had burst—there was no stopping him.
Just as Stark was about to say sothing, Peter suddenly launched into an excited rant.
"Mr. Stark, I've been following your work for a long ti! Your suits are incredible, and I really admire you—well, at least I did at first."
"I an, I still admire you, Mr. Stark! But once I found out that wizards were real, I started paying attention to Master Luo Bai instead. And I have to admit... at so point, I started admiring him even more!"
"Magic! There's actual magic in this world! This is so freaking cool!!!"
Peter kept talking and talking—his enthusiasm knew no bounds.
As expected...
Spider-Man was a chatterbox.
Compared to Peter, Stark was practically mute.
Realizing that if he didn't put a stop to this, Peter could probably go on all day, Stark finally had enough.
"Alright, alright, kid. I get it. You admire Luo Bai, is that what you're trying to say?"
"Yeah! He's a wizard~~~ This is so cool!!~~" Peter practically squealed in excitent.
Before he could continue, Stark quickly cut him off.
"I know, I know, it's cool. But listen carefully—whatever you saw or heard today, you can't tell anyone.
Especially the fact that Luo Bai can bring people back to life."
Hearing Stark's serious tone, Peter's excitent instantly faded.
He quickly realized that this was an extrely important matter.
So, he straightened up and nodded solemnly.
"Got it, Mr. Stark. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Not a single word."
Seeing that Peter understood, Stark decided it was ti to send him off.
"Good. Now, go ho and focus on your studies, kid."
Peter Parker was too noisy.
Stark really needed so peace and quiet right now.
Although he didn't say anything outright, Peter had been observing him carefully the entire ti.
He could tell—Stark wasn't in a good mood.
So, Peter nodded seriously and said, "Alright then, I'll be heading out, Mr. Stark."
Just as he was about to leave, Stark suddenly called out to him.
"Kid, you were standing there the whole ti. You understood everything that just happened, didn't you?"
Peter Parker paused for a mont before nodding in confusion.
"I think I might have... accidentally learned everything."
Stark looked at him and asked, "Do you think what I did was wrong?"
It was clear that he was still sowhat conflicted about Bucky.
So, he asked Peter Parker.
Maybe because Peter was just a high school student, his mind was much simpler.
But for the sa reason, it was difficult for him to process such a heavy question.
For a mont, Peter looked lost.
Finally, after so thought, he answered honestly, "I'm sorry, Mr. Stark, I don't know if what you did was right or wrong... but if I were in your position, I'd probably hate Bucky too."
"I see." Stark said quietly.
Peter nodded, and the next second, he was gone.
Now, only Luo Bai and Stark remained on the battlefield.
Stark's emotions were still complicated. He was exhausted and just wanted to go ho.
But then he thought about how Pepper would definitely ask him about everything that had happened... and he didn't feel ready to face that conversation yet.
So, he turned to Luo Bai.
"Are you free?"
"Yeah."
"Can I stay at your place for a while?"
"Of course. Stay as long as you want. After all, your na is still on the ownership papers for my house," Luo Bai said with a smile.
Stark suddenly rembered sothing and quickly explained, "That's not what I ant. I really did intend to give you the house, but at the ti, I had to consider tax issues and other complications, so I didn't transfer it to avoid unnecessary trouble. If you mind, I can transfer it to you now."
"Too much hassle. It's fine as it is." Luo Bai said as he opened a portal.
The mont the portal appeared, the two of them stepped through and arrived at Luo Bai's apartnt.
At that mont, Wanda and Polaris were sitting on the couch, watching the news.
The broadcast was about Hydra and Project Insight.
Through various investigations, more of Hydra's past cris had been exposed.
The news made it clear—many international wars had been orchestrated by Hydra.
Hydra had deep ties to the Nazis, using its resources and influence to manipulate international politics and economics. They instigated and worsened conflicts through various ans, all to achieve their own goals.
Even the war in Sokovia was closely linked to Hydra.
As Wanda and Polaris watched the report intently, the sudden arrival of Luo Bai and Stark caught their attention.
Polaris was the first to stand up and greet them.
"Master Luo Bai, Mr. Stark. You're here?"
"Yeah. You two watching the news?" Luo Bai asked.
Polaris nodded and answered seriously, "Wanda and I were watching the latest news about Hydra. Master Luo Bai, are you aware of Hydra too?"
"Of course." Luo Bai nodded.
The mont he finished speaking, Polaris angrily blurted out, "Hydra is so arrogant! They actually dared to broadcast a live threat to all super-powered people on Earth! Absolutely shaless."
Hearing this, Stark, who had been feeling down, couldn't help but smirk and tease her.
"Yeah, I have to agree. Pretty bold of them. They even introduced themselves on live television."
Polaris snorted. "Now the whole world knows where Hydra's base is. I'd say they're in big trouble this ti!"
