Polaris was the first to notice the unfamiliar woman with Luo Bai and Stark.
"Wanda?" she asked, a bit surprised.
She looked at Luo Bai, clearly confused for a mont before asking, "Master Luo Bai, is she a friend of yours?"
"She ca to learn magic from , but so complications have co up, so she'll need to stay here for a while," Luo Bai explained.
Polaris nodded and introduced herself, "Hello, Wanda. I'm Lorna Dann, Master Luo Bai's housekeeper."
Wanda seed a bit cautious around strangers but replied politely, "Hello."
At that mont, Stark turned to Quicksilver. "Shall I take you to the apartnt next door?"
Quicksilver glanced at Wanda for confirmation, then left with Stark.
As they departed, Wanda looked around, appearing a little lost and unsure of what to do. Clearly, she hadn't fully adapted to the new situation yet.
Seeing her hesitation, Luo Bai spoke up, "Do you need sothing to eat first? If not, I'll assess your magic talent right away."
"Learn magic? So soon?" Wanda was still processing everything, but seeing Luo Bai's calm deanor, she decided to trust that he genuinely intended to teach her.
"I'm not very hungry," she replied.
Hearing this, Luo Bai magically summoned a book. "Then take a look at this first," he said, handing it to her.
Wanda nodded and accepted the book. Noticing that her presence wasn't required, Polaris spoke up. "Master Luo Bai, I'll head back to my room to practice."
Polaris had been diligently working on mastering her abilities recently. Rembering her efforts, Luo Bai asked, "How has your training been going?"
Polaris smiled and answered, "I've been doing pretty well. I'm getting more proficient with my powers. Here, let show you!"
With a burst of green light, Polaris controlled all the tal objects in the room, showing off her improved skills. After the demonstration, she asked eagerly, "How was that, Master Luo Bai?"
"You're definitely more skilled than before," Luo Bai acknowledged. "But... is that all you can do?"
Polaris paused to think before replying, "I can also fly using the magnetic field, and I can sense my surroundings with it too."
Luo Bai considered this and then asked, "Have you studied physics before?"
Polaris looked thoughtful for a mont. "Professor X taught so things," she said.
That was exactly what Luo Bai expected.
Without another word, he used teleportation magic to summon a stack of books and handed them to her.
"Don't rush into training yet. Read through these first," he said.
Polaris, now confused, glanced at the titles of the books: Magnetic Field Theory and Calculation, Exploring the Magical Magnetic Field, University Physics, and others. There were over ten books in total.
Still baffled, she looked at Luo Bai, who explained, "These will help you improve your abilities. If you don't understand sothing, ask Tony. He knows more about this than I do."
As he finished speaking, Stark entered the room.
"I thought I heard my na being called?" Stark asked with a curious look.
"Did you settle Quicksilver in?" Luo Bai inquired.
Stark nodded. "Yes, I've asked my staff to buy him so essentials."
He glanced at Wanda, guilt clearly visible in his eyes. Unable to shake his conscience, Stark addressed her solemnly. "I'm sorry for the harm I caused your family. I don't expect you to forgive , but I want to do everything I can to help."
Wanda didn't respond verbally but nodded in acknowledgnt.
Stark turned his attention to Polaris, who was holding the stack of books. "What's with all these books?" he asked, taking a closer look.
After scanning a few titles, Stark couldn't help but comnt, "These are basic books on magnetic fields. Why are you reading them?"
"Master Luo Bai asked to," Polaris replied, still a bit confused. "He said they would help improve my powers."
Stark suddenly understood. "Yes, it's ti for you to study. Make sure to take a good look and learn."
At this, Luo Bai chid in, "I told her to ask you if she gets stuck. You're more knowledgeable about this."
"Ask ?" Stark looked hesitant. After a mont, he suggested, "I'm pretty busy. How about I hire a private professor to teach her?"
"That sounds fine," Luo Bai agreed.
Stark imdiately made a phone call to arrange it. Once everything was settled, he returned to the original topic. "By the way, I ca to find you earlier. I need to talk to you about sothing."
"What is it?" Luo Bai asked.
Stark took a seat on the sofa before explaining, "Since you sent Nick Fury away, the top brass at S.H.I.E.L.D. have noticed. The International Security Council has been causing a stir."
"You an the United Nations Security Council?" Luo Bai clarified.
S.H.I.E.L.D., a special force created by the International Security Council, is designed to handle bizarre global incidents. However, the Council, especially under Pierce's leadership, has always been opposed to the Avengers and those with superhuman abilities. It didn't surprise Luo Bai that they were making noise.
Stark continued, "They're upset because you took the Tesseract and the Mind Stone. They're demanding their return."
"I imagine they're claiming the Tesseract and the Mind Stone belong to the U.S. governnt and that Loki needs to be tried as a war criminal," Luo Bai said calmly.
"Exactly," Stark confird. "Pierce is leading the charge."
"Do you know who Pierce really is?" Luo Bai asked, his tone sharpening.
Stark raised an eyebrow. "What do you an?"
Luo Bai smiled knowingly. "He's Hydra. They want the Mind Stone and Tesseract for their experints. That's why they're pushing so hard."
"Wait... Pierce is Hydra?" Stark was taken aback.
Luo Bai nodded. "Not just him. A large portion of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s agents and high-ranking officers are Hydra. You might as well start calling it the 'Snake Shield.'"
Stark was floored. "S.H.I.E.L.D. is infiltrated by Hydra? Does Nick Fury know?"
Luo Bai smirked. "Nick Fury, the so-called King of Spies, infiltrated Hydra without realizing it. Quite the irony, don't you think?"
Stark was speechless.
"Nick Fury... He really is sothing," Stark muttered, shaking his head. Then, he laughed. "I'd love to see his face when he finds out. That should be priceless."
