Ever since Stark entered Kamar-Taj and started learning magic, he gradually began to grasp just how powerful Luo Bai truly was.

After all, magic was far more profound and formidable than anything humans or superpowers could comprehend.

And Luo Bai was the most powerful Sorcerer Supre in Kamar-Taj.

It was clear that Luo Bai was on a completely different level.

So much so that almost no one in the entire magical community dared to provoke him.

Unexpectedly, while mages feared for their lives, so superpowered individuals apparently did not.

Quicksilver actually had the nerve to challenge Luo Bai to a race.

Of course, in Kamar-Taj and the wider mage circle, duels and competitions were fairly common.

However, hardly any mage would willingly challenge Luo Bai.

Because let's be honest—asking a normal person to compete with a literal cheat-level genius was just asking for trouble.

Quicksilver was brave.

Or maybe just stupid.

Judging by the lost look on Quicksilver's face, the race must have ended in a complete disaster.

Thinking of this, Stark couldn't help but ask, "So, what was the final result? How big was the speed difference between them?"

The mont he asked, Polaris spoke up. "Quicksilver's max speed is about 800,000 kiloters per hour."

Stark imdiately understood. "Ah. That explains it. There's a massive difference between 300,000 kiloters per second and 800,000 kiloters per hour. No wonder Quicksilver looks like he's questioning his existence."

As he spoke, he cast a sympathetic glance at Quicksilver.

It looked like he wanted to say sothing else, but before he could, Luo Bai spoke seriously.

"There's nothing to be depressed about. In my opinion, his speed can be much faster—he could even reach the speed of light."

Hearing this, Quicksilver, who had been sulking, suddenly lit up.

He looked at Luo Bai expectantly. "You really think I can reach the speed of light?"

Luo Bai nodded. "If you keep training and pushing your limits, you might just break through. Even if you don't quite reach that level, you won't be far from it. When the ti cos, I might be able to help you."

To be honest, when Luo Bai had first called him slow, Quicksilver had been skeptical.

Sure, he acknowledged Luo Bai's magic skills.

But in terms of pure speed, he hadn't believed Luo Bai could surpass him.

Then the race happened...

And he learned the hard way.

Now, there was no need for Luo Bai to say anything—Quicksilver understood.

He really was too slow.

His forr arrogance faded, and his attitude beca much humbler.

"I think you're right, Sorcerer Supre. I'll train hard and improve my abilities." Quicksilver said.

Then, before Luo Bai could respond, he continued excitedly.

"I really think I can reach the speed of light!"

His tone was firm, and his eyes glead with determination.

It was clear—Quicksilver had completely fallen in love with the idea of reaching light speed.

Seeing him like this, Stark didn't say anything.

He just sighed inwardly and shook his head.

Great... another one has lost it.

Of course, those thoughts remained in his head.

Considering that today was Polaris' birthday, Stark felt it would be best not to focus too much on Quicksilver's existential crisis.

With that in mind, he quickly changed the subject. "Trying to reach light speed isn't sothing you can do overnight. So instead, let's focus on what we can do right now—like celebrating Lorna's birthday."

At his words, everyone suddenly realized how late it had gotten.

They'd gotten so caught up in conversation that they had chatted right into dinner ti.

Realizing this, Pepper nodded. "I didn't even notice how late it was! Alright, let's eat."

And just like that, the group sat down at the dining table.

After a short wait, the servants brought out the food.

As expected of Stark's secretary—Pepper was incredibly thorough in handling these things.

Not only had she hired top-tier chefs, but she had also considered everyone's dietary preferences.

So tonight's dinner wasn't just Western cuisine—there were also so Chinese dishes, along with a massive cake in the center.

Once all the dishes were served, everyone began eating and chatting.

Although only a small group had gathered today—just six people, including Luo Bai—because they all had a great relationship, the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.

They ate, drank, and played gas.

The night passed in a blur of fun and laughter.

Until, finally, things settled down in the second half of the night.

And the reason for that was simple—

Except for Luo Bai, everyone else was completely wasted.

Ever since Luo Bai's physique had been enhanced, alcohol barely affected him.

So after drinking all night, he didn't feel a thing.

But the others?

They were a ss.

Pepper was passed out on the floor, snoring.

Quicksilver... was sohow sleeping on the roof.

Don't ask how or why.

Just accept it.

It was because he drank too much that he kept shouting inside the house, claiming he would train himself to surpass the speed of light.

Then, he sped up to the rooftop...

And finally, he fell asleep there as if it were his ho.

Wanda was actually doing pretty well.

Even though she was drunk, at least she had the sense to go back to her room and sleep.

But Polaris and Stark... they were completely out of line.

Luo Bai didn't know whether they were really treating him as a pillow or if it was just coincidence.

Polaris clung to Luo Bai's left arm, while Stark hugged his right leg... both of them fast asleep, leaning against him.

Looking at the two of them, Luo Bai felt a headache coming on.

At least he could accept Polaris being like this.

After all, Polaris was a woman!

Although it might sound bad, and it made Luo Bai seem like he valued romance over friendship, this was just human nature!

But Stark was a full-grown man, and no matter how good their friendship was, Luo Bai couldn't tolerate it.

With a wave of his hand, Luo Bai picked up Pepper and Stark, who were lying on the floor, and tossed them into their rooms.

After settling them, Luo Bai hesitated, debating whether to move Polaris to her room as well.

But at that mont, he sensed sothing was off.

It was Galactus.

He had arrived near Earth.

Ever since Luo Bai absorbed the cosmic energy from Silver Surfer's body, a strange connection had ford between him and Galactus.

After all, the cosmic energy inside Silver Surfer had been granted by Galactus, and ultimately, that power still belonged to him.

Although Luo Bai had now absorbed it, this energy had created a link between him and the Devourer of Worlds.

At first, the connection was weak because Galactus was too far away from Earth.

But just now, Luo Bai had felt a sudden, overwhelming surge in that connection.

It allowed them to sense each other's exact location.

Because of this sudden link, Luo Bai concluded that Galactus was now extrely close to Earth.

Just as Luo Bai was about to expand his cosmic perception to pinpoint Galactus' exact location, Galactus forcibly connected their consciousness.

Due to the nature of cosmic energy, Luo Bai found himself unable to resist.

And in the next second, he was pulled into the consciousness realm of the Devourer of Worlds.

Within this realm, Luo Bai finally saw the true form of Galactus.
