Kaecilius and his corrupted mages drew power from the Dark Dinsion through forbidden rituals.
Using the power of darkness, they successfully initiated a summoning ceremony, calling Dormammu to Earth.
According to the original course of events, they should have followed Dormammu's orders—destroying Kamar-Taj and causing the Ancient One's death.
However, because the Ancient One had left early, Dormammu was forced to arrive in a hurry once again.
Thus, after absorbing energy from the Dark Dinsion, Kaecilius directly summoned Dormammu.
The sinister ritual began, and the people indulging in their nightly entertainnt failed to notice at first.
It wasn't until the dark energy engulfed the entire city and spread to surrounding areas that fear finally took hold.
"Look! What's that in the sky?"
"I don't know... it looks strange."
"Run! It's coming right at us!!"
Panic erupted as people scread in terror.
They had no idea what these dark energies were, but an instinctual fear gripped them.
Of course, so still took photos and uploaded them to the internet.
Within minutes, social dia was flooded with discussions about the "weird black hole," and it quickly beca the number one trending topic.
Due to the imnse commotion, superpowered individuals across the world finally took notice—the Earth was in grave danger.
The Hydra crisis had only recently passed, and for once, Earth's heroes had experienced a rare mont of unity.
Perhaps because their previous collaboration had gone well, they instinctively responded the sa way.
Now, with an unknown enemy descending upon Earth, superpowered individuals once again joined forces.
A large number of heroes began heading toward the epicenter of the dark energy.
Naturally, the mbers of the Justice League also wanted to participate in the battle.
So, the mont they beca aware of the situation, they gathered together.
At Luo Bai's Villa
Tony Stark, Polaris, and Dr. Banner were watching the news, discussing the unfolding crisis.
"A massive surge of dark energy has been detected gathering in the eastern skies. Should we go help?" Polaris asked first.
Since joining the Justice League, Polaris had been particularly active in protecting Earth.
Stark understood her enthusiasm—everything still felt new and exciting to her.
Compared to her, however, he, having been through countless battles, remained much calr.
"I think we should ask Luo Bai about the situation first," Stark said seriously. "I've got a bad feeling about this. It won't be that easy to deal with."
As soon as he finished speaking, Polaris imdiately agreed. "I thought so too! That's why I called Master Luo Bai... but he's not answering."
Silence.
No response?
Now what?
As one of the Justice League's core mbers, Luo Bai's guidance was crucial—without his input, no one dared to act rashly.
After all, they still didn't understand the nature of this dark energy.
Moreover, the anomaly had appeared far from New York—it was in China. Even if they wanted to intervene, it would take ti to get there.
Hesitation filled the air as they debated whether to act.
Just then, a familiar golden portal suddenly appeared before them.
Their first reaction was excitent... but the mont they saw who stepped through, their enthusiasm faded instantly.
"You are... Did Luo Bai send you?" Stark imdiately questioned the newcor.
Though he had never t Wong before, the appearance of a portal made it clear that the man was connected to Luo Bai.
Wong quickly introduced himself. "I am Wong, a sorcerer of Kamar-Taj. Master Luo Bai sent to bring you. We need your help to fight against the dark mages."
"Dark mages?"
"So... the anomalies on the news were caused by them?" Polaris asked.
"Co with ," Wong said. "I'll explain everything on the way."
With that, he led them through the portal.
To everyone's surprise, Wanda—who had previously refused to join the Justice League—also showed up.
The most shocked of all was Stark.
He glanced at Wanda, as if he had sothing to ask, but after a mont of thought, he chose to remain silent.
At that mont, Wong had already begun explaining:
"The current situation is extrely dangerous. A sorcerer from Kamar-Taj has fallen—he has beco a dark mage. They have summoned Dormammu, the Lord of the Dark Dinsion."
Hearing the unfamiliar na, Polaris couldn't help but ask, "Lord of the Dark Dinsion? Dormammu?? Who is that?"
"You can think of him as the most powerful dark sorcerer," Wong said seriously. "He's so strong that almost no magician can kill him."
Even though they didn't fully grasp Dormammu's strength, just hearing the title 'Lord of the Dark Dinsion' made it clear to everyone that this was no ordinary crisis.
Dr. Banner, looking troubled, couldn't help but complain, "So now we're supposed to fight against a dinsional ruler? Can we really win?"
"Of course not," Wong replied bluntly. "That's why we're dealing with his followers instead."
"Well, that's a relief," Banner muttered, sighing in relief.
Stark, still confused, quickly asked, "What about Dormammu? Who's dealing with him?"
"The Sorcerer Supre has already gone to confront him," Wong answered.
"Master Luo Bai? Where is he?" Polaris imdiately asked.
Wong pointed toward the dark vortex in the sky and replied seriously, "Inside. In the Dark Dinsion."
"Oh my god..." Banner gasped, his face filled with concern.
Stark also looked uneasy and quickly asked, "Shouldn't we go help him first? Can he really handle this alone?"
Wong shook his head and spoke with a firm tone, "If Luo Bai can't handle Dormammu, then no one on Earth can."
His words made everyone realize just how powerful Dormammu truly was.
At that mont, they all turned their eyes toward the Dark Dinsion, anxiously praying for Luo Bai.
They imagined that Luo Bai, facing Dormammu alone, must be engaged in a fierce battle at this very mont.
But what they didn't know was that, right now...
Luo Bai was having the ti of his life.
Inside the Dark Dinsion
"Dormammu! I'm here to negotiate!" Luo Bai called out loudly.
He stood on a floating planet at the center of the Dark Dinsion, looking completely relaxed.
In the next second, a massive head erged from the darkness.
That head belonged to Dormammu.
For so reason, Luo Bai felt that Dormammu was absolutely furious.
The mont he appeared, Dormammu's deep, thunderous voice roared:
"YOU DARE CO HERE TO DIE, STUPID EARTH SORCERER?! HOW DARE YOU THREATEN !! DO YOU THINK PHISTO CAN PROTECT YOU?!"
phisto?
Hearing that na, Luo Bai imdiately realized sothing—Dormammu must have been manipulated into attacking Earth, and phisto was behind it.
Curious, he asked, "He's the Lord of Lies—and you actually believe him? What exactly did he tell you?"
Dormammu, however, had no interest in talking.
Instead, he bellowed, "YOUR WORLD IS MINE! YOUR SOUL IS MINE! FOOLISH EARTH SORCERER! YOU WILL PAY A TERRIBLE PRICE FOR YOUR INSOLENCE!"
Dormammu's roar echoed through the entire dinsion.
Before Luo Bai could react, a massive beam of dark energy shot straight at him.
Had it been any ordinary sorcerer, they would have been obliterated on the spot.
But Luo Bai?
He was no ordinary sorcerer.
In fact, if there was one thing he needed, it was energy.
So instead of dodging, Luo Bai simply stood still—letting the dark energy blast hit him head-on.
The mont it made contact with his body...
Not only was he unhard—he was ecstatic.
Dormammu unleashed his power...
Luo Bai absorbed it all.
When the attack finally ended, Dormammu stared in shock.
No...?!
You're not dead?!
How the hell are you still alive?!
