"Previously, when I collected Frey's blood, it was enough to upgrade a pupil ring," Kurogai mused. "But now, even after harvesting the blood of these twelve elders, I only have a chance at improvent. Their bloodline purity must be far below Frey's."

He glanced at the faint crimson glow pulsing within the Seventh Pupil Ring on his hand.It wasn't a full evolution—just potential. But that was still progress, and progress was all that mattered.

"Upgrade the Seventh Pupil Ring," he commanded calmly.

At once, a surge of power gathered at his eyes. A deep, swirling energy began to twist within his irises, reshaping them. The glow intensified until the room dimd around him, light itself bending into his gaze. When the transformation settled, his eyes had beco darker—profound and endless, like black holes that pulled all sight inward.

Kurogai blinked once, and the air around him rippled. The walls and floor of the conference room warped as though reality itself were twisting under invisible pressure.

"So this ti… it's the power to distort space."He spoke, testing the limits of his new ability.

He hadn't just twisted objects. He had twisted the room itself—the space that contained them.

It was similar in essence to the Space Stone, though not quite as advanced. Still, if refined, it could reach that level—and perhaps even surpass it one day.The thought made his expression sharpen.

"It's not enough yet," he said, clenching his fist. "The Seventh Pupil Ring isn't complete. I need more vampire blood."

His eyes glead faintly red."The next target… the Vampire Grand Duke."

While absorbing the elders' blood, Kurogai had glimpsed fragnts of their mories. Those fragnts revealed the existence of a far greater power—the Vampire Grand Duke. According to what he saw, this Grand Duke was the one responsible for experinting on mutant vampires, even using his own son as a subject.

A vampire of such a bloodline was exactly what Kurogai needed."Soone with blood purer than Frey's… perfect," he murmured. "Before the ring reaches perfection, I won't let any of them escape."

He lifted his hand, and the room began to shake.

"No reason to linger here."

A low hum filled the air as his distortion field expanded. Within seconds, the entire mansion crumpled inward—walls folding, ceiling collapsing, foundations splitting apart. When the chaos stopped, there was nothing left. The once-grand Vampire Mansion had been erased, reduced to drifting debris.

Kurogai's figure was gone.

When he reappeared, he stood before another massive structure—a towering estate rising like a dark fortress against the skyline.

He sighed softly. "Do all vampires have a mansion fetish?"

It was almost amusing. Whether it was Firth before or the Grand Duke now, every one of them seed obsessed with gothic architecture and unnecessary grandeur. Then again, with their wealth and fear of death, it wasn't surprising. The rich always found comfort in pretending they were immortal. Vampires just took it literally.

Modern materials could now block sunlight completely, allowing them to live high above the city without fear. That explained the skyscraper design. But Kurogai wasn't here to appreciate real estate.

He walked through the grand entrance, his senses flaring outward. In seconds, he located his target.A ripple of energy distorted the air around him, and with a flash of blue light from the Space Stone, he vanished.

The Vampire Grand Duke spun around as the space beside him tore open."What—?!"

He froze. Standing there was a tall man with dual-colored eyes that seed to pierce through the soul. The Grand Duke's instincts scread danger, but before he could react, Kurogai's gaze t his.

In an instant, the Grand Duke's mind fell into darkness.

"Now," Kurogai said, his voice echoing within the illusion. "Tell everything you know about the vampire race."

The Grand Duke's resistance crumbled under Kurogai's control. His lips moved chanically as he spoke, revealing every secret buried within his mind—the experints, the hidden facilities, even his twisted research on his own son.

Kurogai listened in silence, absorbing every detail.

"I see," he said at last. "Then gather all of your people here. Even those on assignnt."

The Grand Duke, still trapped in illusion, nodded obediently and began issuing ntal commands through his telepathic network.Within hours, the mansion filled with vampires—every subordinate the Grand Duke possessed, including several with pure-blood lineage.

Half a day later, when they were all assembled, Kurogai raised his hand.

"That should be everyone."

He unleashed the power of distortion. The vampires scread as the gravitational field within the building collapsed inward, crushing everything into a vortex of red mist. Not a single one survived.Kurogai extended his hand as the blood swirled toward him, each drop drawn into the Seventh Pupil Ring like iron filings to a magnet.

When the last crimson droplet vanished, a new pulse resonated through the ring.

A cold, chanical voice echoed in his mind:

[The Seventh Pupil Ring has absorbed sufficient energy. Evolution possible.]

Kurogai's lips curved into a faint, satisfied smile.
