"Alright, but I plan to take a look around here."
Thor nodded, then shook his head. Since he was already here, he might as well wander around, as there was no rush to leave.
"A planet where a Grandmaster can stay for a long ti might have other rewards," Thor mused.
Loki's plan was simpler: he wanted to plunder everything. He believed that the possessions of a Celestial would surely include many unique items, preferably magical books.
Hulk's thoughts were even simpler: as long as he could stay near Wanda and the others, he was content.
As for the Grandmaster, with a Angewomon present, neither Thor nor Loki were worried. In fact, there was no need to worry. Even if the Angewomon were to be defeated and the Grandmaster attempted to harm Wanda and Bella, the only one certain to die would be the Grandmaster.
At their level, covering vast distances was just a matter of monts.
Even if Wanda and Bella were killed, they had the ability to reverse ti.
Such was the exaggeration at the single-universe level.
Indeed, things unfolded just as Loki and Thor imagined. Thor, accompanied by Hulk and Pietro, road around Sakaar, even watching the gladiators' battles in the arena, discovering a few interesting individuals.
Loki was busy ransacking the Grandmaster’s palace.
anwhile, Wanda and Bella were enjoying a luxurious feast in the top-floor hall of the Grandmaster's tower with Gamora and Nebula.
As for the Grandmaster, he was being brutally beaten on that sandy planet.
Literally beaten.
Boom!
A brilliant teor fell, and the Grandmaster's figure plumted from the sky, crashing into the ground. Half of the sandy planet's surface cracked, sandstorming everywhere, making it impossible to see.
The entire planet shook, on the brink of destruction.
The Grandmaster was thrown into a huge crater, lying on the ground with a green gem-studded staff by his side, coughing up blood, his clothes in tatters, his once neat hair now a ss.
He now looked more like a beggar.
The Grandmaster was in deep anguish.
He couldn't defeat the angel. Her life level was overwhelmingly higher, her physical prowess invincible. She could dash in an instant, wielding her holy sword against him relentlessly.
Though he barely resisted, her imnse strength shattered his bones, internal organs, and even cells.
The Grandmaster was indeed a top-tier Celestial, but his physical attributes were ordinary. His true strengths lay in his vast wisdom and nurous abilities.
He could generate energy waves, erect energy fields, teleport, traverse ti, space, and dinsions, project his voice and image across ti and space, transmute matter on a planetary scale, cause death by will, and turn people into nothingness with a gesture.
He could also interact with extrely fast beings by manipulating ti, immobilizing others in a stasis field, and adopting a gigantic size, among many other abilities.
He even knew a lot of magic.
But tragically, these powerful abilities were useless against the Angewomon.
The Angewomon was too unique: emotionless, rational, an unfeeling AI program, immune to mind control, possessing imnse holy light power, a tough physique, nurous divine artifacts, and a repertoire of powerful holy light spells taught by Bi Xiao.
More terrifyingly, the Angewomon could use holy word magic.
Whenever the Grandmaster tried to use his abilities, the Angewomon would use holy word magic to nullify them.
This directly stripped him of his most relied-upon abilities.
The Grandmaster wanted to halt ti—impossible, as the Angewomon’s level was too high, unaffected by his temporal powers. He wanted to control an energy field—impossible, as the Angewomon’s holy word magic nullified the space.
He wanted to teleport away—impossible, as the Angewomon had already sealed the space with her holy word magic.
Unless he killed her, escaping this isolated space was impossible.
Unable to fight, unable to flee.
The Grandmaster was frustrated to the point of despair. In a short ti, the Angewomon had severely injured him. If not for his high life level and strong self-healing ability, he would have died countless tis already.
Of course, the Grandmaster wasn’t afraid of death.
He couldn’t die in the true sense.
Due to the decree of the Supre God, death forbade elders from entering her domain. He had been killed several tis but always resurrected.
But death was never the most frightening thing.
The Grandmaster knew this well.
Perhaps no one else knew his secret, especially the Angewomon. But he couldn’t die, because upon resurrection, the Angewomon would realize his uniqueness.
Then her goal would likely shift from killing to imprisoning or sealing him.
Such thods were not unheard of.
Once imprisoned or sealed, he would face endless eons of solitude, a tornt worse than death.
So now the Grandmaster was pondering escape.
He had already tried to surrender, but the Angewomon showed no signs of relenting, not even speaking to him.
The Grandmaster was genuinely regretting his actions.
His hobby had led him into an uncontrollable dire situation.
The worst part was his backup, the Collector, might not be able to reach him.
With space sealed, the Collector couldn’t even arrive.
He could only hope the Collector was smart enough. With two Celestials against one, they might at least maintain a balance, negotiate, or simply surrender, offering so price or bargaining chip to quell the Angewomon's wrath.
