Sanctum Sanctorum - Main Hall

The grand hall of the Sanctum Sanctorum stood eerily silent. The chandelier above flickered and swayed, casting erratic shadows against the towering walls. The temperature had plumted sharply, and an unnatural chill filled the air.

"Enough with the theatrics. Co out already!"

Finn lifted his head slightly, his voice cutting through the silence as he called out toward the darkness beyond.

As expected, his suspicions were correct.

The appearance of the imposter witch was no coincidence—her target was Arica Chavez.

Everything was falling into place, confirming his worst fears.

"She's here again..."

Wanda Maximoff furrowed her brows, her striking features marred with concern. Her crimson-tinged fingers curled instinctively, glowing with raw energy, ready to strike at a mont's notice.

After the last encounter, she had co to understand the sheer power of her dark counterpart. This wasn't sothing to take lightly.

"Everyone, stay alert."

Stephen Strange's voice carried a grave warning as his hands conjured a Raggadorr shield, its radiant sigils illuminating his focused expression.

He could already sense it—the encroaching presence of the Dark Witch. The corrupted energy closing in from the shadows was unmistakable.

Those who had mastered the spells of the Darkhold were capable of wielding the Scarlet Power in its most unrestrained and lethal form.

Then—

BOOM!

The mont the words left Stephen's mouth, the Sanctum was plunged into absolute darkness. The chandelier's glow was extinguished in an instant, swallowed by the void.

"She's coming."

Finn's sharp gaze scanned the abyss, his voice low and unwavering.

Then, a violent gust tore through the chamber.

Books, furniture, and artifacts spun wildly, caught in an unseen cyclone. The air roared with chaos.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Objects slamd into the walls, shattering against the sheer force of the unseen entity's arrival. A warning, a declaration of her imminent presence.

Everyone instinctively raised their arms, bracing against the relentless winds that stung like shards of ice.

"Where is she? Do you see—?"

Garfield's Spider-Man barely got the words out before—

WHOOSH!

A chilling gust surged through the gaps in the walls, flooding the hall with a thick, seething black mist laced with streaks of crimson.

In re seconds, the suffocating darkness devoured a third of the Sanctum.

The oppressive force consud everything in its path, sending shivers down their spines. The temperature plumted once more, as if the very essence of death had seeped into the air.

The black aura churned violently, twisting and expanding, rushing toward them like a vengeful tidal wave.

"C-Cold! Is this so kind of winter magic?"

The youngest among them, Spider-Man, trembled from head to toe, barely managing to suppress his shivering.

"Let handle this!"

Stephen didn't hesitate. His left hand flared with golden energy before slamming against the ground, sending a surge of shimring light rippling forward.

Chi chi chi chi!

But in the next second—

The golden wave was swallowed whole by the abyssal mist.

Stephen's eyes widened in shock. His magic—completely nullified?

Wanda, standing protectively beside Arica, tightened her stance. "Finn, this place isn't suited for a fight. I say we retreat to Kamar-Taj."

"Good call."

Finn nodded. Fighting here would only result in the Sanctum's destruction—perhaps even a dinsional collapse.

That was sothing he could not allow.

But before they could act—

Whoosh!

From the depths of the swirling void, she erged.

"Finn, are you planning to leave just like that?"

Finn's breath hitched as his gaze locked onto her.

It was Wanda—

But not the Wanda they knew.

Clad in a dark crimson ensemble, her golden hair whipped violently around her face. Her once-warm expression had twisted into sothing cold, rciless—an incarnation of pure destruction.

Black mist coiled around her body, forming the ghostly image of a snarling skull that seed to breathe with malice. The aura pulsated, growing heavier, more suffocating with every passing mont.

"Hey, man, this is not a joke. We need to go!"

Garfield's Spider-Man grimaced, his voice carrying a note of urgency.

As if on cue, Stephen swiftly conjured a portal, the golden flas swirling into a circular gateway. On the other side—

Kamar-Taj.

"Finn, move!"

Stephen's command broke the tension, prompting everyone to rush through the portal one by one.

Just as Finn turned to follow—

"You can't run from , Finn..."

Her voice, seductive yet laced with chilling malice, slithered through the air like a venomous whisper.

The scarlet-black energy rushed toward him, tendrils reaching out like spectral claws.

But just before they could take hold—

The portal vanished.

The darkness collapsed in on itself, swallowing nothing but empty air.

Kamar-Taj - Dojo C

Breathing heavily, they found themselves standing in the heart of Kamar-Taj.

"That woman... she looked exactly like Wanda."

Garfield wiped the sweat from his brow, still shaken.

People often spoke of the terror of encountering one's doppelgänger, but seeing a friend—changed, corrupted—was far worse.

The re thought sent a shiver down his spine.

"That was . From another universe."

Wanda's voice was steady, but beneath it lay an unmistakable edge of dread. "And she's stronger."

"She held back before. Now, she's taking the final step."

Finn's expression was grim as he spoke. "She won't stop."

Stephen frowned. "Arica can't control her powers. So what does the Dark Witch plan to do?"

The group exchanged uncertain glances. Even Arica herself seed baffled.

If the Dark Witch couldn't control the ability to traverse universes, then what was her endga?

"There's a spell in the Darkhold," Wanda muttered. "It allows one to absorb the power of another living being."

The weight of her words settled heavily over them.

"She plans to take it for herself."

Stephen's expression darkened. "And what happens to her afterward?"

Finn exhaled sharply. "She'll turn into a husk. A lifeless corpse."

It had happened before.

Agatha Harkness once attempted to drain Wanda's power—only to be consud by it in the end.

A somber silence filled the air.

Arica's hands clenched into fists. "You'll help , right?"

Her voice wavered with fear, her gaze searching theirs for reassurance.

Finn turned to Stephen. "Get your people ready. She's coming."

Stephen hesitated for only a mont before nodding. "They're already prepared."

Without another word, he turned and disappeared into the depths of the temple.

Soon, the call was sent out.

Kamar-Taj was mobilizing.

The Dark Witch was coming.

The spacious dojo of Kamar-Taj was already filled with sorcerers.

No one understood why Wong had gathered them at this hour—until the truth was revealed.

The Dark Witch was coming.

As soon as the news spread, the atmosphere shifted. Conversations fell silent, and tension crackled in the air. Unease was evident in the eyes of every sorcerer, their expressions darkening as the weight of the impending battle settled over them.

A hush fell over the room, eerie and oppressive.

Wong scanned the faces before him, his gaze steady and unwavering.

"Stay alert!" he commanded. "This battle will be unlike any we have ever faced."

The seriousness in his voice struck deep, and the sorcerers hardened their resolve.

Gathered in formation, they readied themselves.

They were waiting for the arrival of the Dark Witch.

Anxiety grew with every passing second. This would be an unimaginably difficult fight.

She had absorbed the power of the Darkhold. Her magic had reached terrifying new heights. Defeating her would not be easy.

Then it began.

The sky darkened suddenly, an ominous shift swallowing the sun. Heavy storm clouds rolled in, dense and unnatural, blotting out all light. Wind howled through the ancient temple, its chilling touch sending shivers down the spines of even the most experienced sorcerers. The temperature plumted, ice creeping into the air.

Boom!

A deafening clap of thunder shook the heavens.

A jagged black streak shot into the sky, splitting the darkness as thick mist spread, curling like tendrils of shadow, consuming the world. A blood-red glow bled through the storm clouds, staining the sky like spilled ink.

It was like the gates of hell had opened.

"She's here," Finn murmured, eyes locked onto the horizon.

A cold solemnity settled over his face. He knew—he knew—how dangerous she was.

"Damn it..." Wanda Maximoff exhaled sharply beside him, her hands clenching into fists.

The air was suffocating.

She could feel the familiar presence. No matter how much she prepared herself, the dread refused to subside. Her heart pounded, breaths growing shallow under the imnse pressure.

Boom!

A silver bolt of lightning tore through the dark sky, illuminating the battlefield for an instant. Thunder rumbled like an angry god, and the ground trembled beneath their feet.

Kamar-Taj's defenders stood their ground, though so wavered.

The fear was spreading.

And then—

A thick black mist swept in, heralding a violent, corrupt presence.

A lone figure erged, stepping through the storm with terrifying grace.

The Dark Witch.

Swathed in a crimson cloak, tendrils of black energy coiled around her like living shadows. Each step she took sent tremors through the earth, cracks spiderwebbing across the sacred ground of Kamar-Taj.

The very air bent around her power.

She lifted a single hand.

A wave of red energy rippled outward.

The impact slamd into the sorcerers like a tidal wave, their feet digging into the stone floor as they fought to remain standing.

A few buckled. Others gasped as invisible hands seed to force them to their knees.

It wasn't just raw strength.

It was command.

The Dark Witch gazed down at them, a silent queen of destruction, her expression unreadable—cold, detached, and deadly.

Boom!

Thunder cracked once more, shaking the mountains surrounding Kamar-Taj. The storm thickened, bolts of lightning streaking across the sky in rapid succession. The world itself seed to recoil from the sheer power radiating off her form.

So sorcerers couldn't help it. Panic flickered in their eyes.

She was too strong.

The sheer force of her presence alone made it difficult to breathe.

"Form the barrier!" Wong roared.

Without hesitation, golden runes ignited in his hands.

The first strike had to be theirs. They could not afford to let her seize control of the battlefield.

A split second later—

Boom!

Dozens of sorcerers unleashed their magic, golden energy exploding outward. The spells wove together, forming a protective barrier around Kamar-Taj, shields of light rippling through the air. The force of their combined effort solidified into a vast do, glowing with ancient magic.

Together, they could hold.

They had to.

Stephen Strange stepped forward, his eyes locked onto the Dark Witch. "The entire might of Kamar-Taj stands against you. You have no chance of victory. Turn back."

His voice was firm.

A warning.

She tilted her head slightly.

And smiled.

"Hand over Finn and Arica," she said softly. "Or watch Kamar-Taj burn."

Scarlet magic gathered in her palms, crackling with raw, chaotic power.

The threat was clear.

The mont she spoke, the storm above raged even harder, as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling under her will.

Wanda inhaled sharply, her pale face betraying her inner turmoil.

She had spent so much ti running from the Darkhold, from that temptation. If she had embraced it sooner—if she had studied it more—would she be stronger now?

Regret was useless.

She turned to Stephen. "Can the barrier hold?"

"Not for long," Finn muttered. "It's only a matter of ti before it falls."

He wasn't exaggerating.

He could feel it—

The power burning within the Dark Witch.

She was far beyond anything he had ever encountered. Stronger than the Scarlet Witch from the original tiline. Stronger than Kamar-Taj had prepared for.

Reality itself shuddered around her presence.

Then—

Boom!!!

In the depths of the storm, her patience ran out.

The Dark Witch's eyes glowed red.

She lifted her hands—and unleashed chaos.

A massive sphere of scarlet energy ford between her palms, expanding at an alarming rate. The raw force within it distorted space itself, making the air tremble.

With a flick of her wrist—

She hurled it forward.

The sky erupted in red light as the sphere shattered into countless smaller orbs, each surging toward Kamar-Taj like homing missiles.

Impact!

The first barrage struck the golden barrier.

Cracks spread instantly, webbing across the shield as the impact force sent tremors through the dojo. The very ground split open. Mountains shook.

And Kamar-Taj—

Wavered.

It wouldn't last.

Not against this.

A grim understanding settled in Finn's mind.

Kamar-Taj was about to fall.

And the Dark Witch was just getting started.
