"According to the whistleblower, the death of Mysterio is inseparably related to Scarlet Witch, and she did appear near the River Thas in London that day..."

On the large-screen TV, Jason of the Daily Bugle had a serious expression, talking endlessly.

"Quentin Beck."

"I really didn't expect that after you died, you could still do this..."

On the sofa, Finn's face was gloomy. The reason he had ignored the mysterio earlier was that this guy was originally an ordinary person and posed no real threat.

But Finn hadn't expected that in the original tiline, Mysterio had only competed to Spider-Man, and Scarlet Witch had been involved too.

Mysterio had tried to turn the world against Peter Parker, and by creating this narrative, he had hoped that the na of the mysterious guest would live on in history.

In the end, Mysterio got his wish, as it was easy for the world to be misled in this day and age.

The release of this kind of news would undoubtedly cause an uproar. No one would care about the truth—people just wanted to get involved. Once the heat died down, they'd disperse.

There were too many things to pay attention to in a year.

At most, the news would last for a short while.

"Troubleso..." Finn muttered, distressed.

What worried him was that Wanda would be hurt by this. The incident with the Sokovia Accords alone had sent Wanda into depression. Her heart was fragile because of the harsh environnt she had grown up in.

Not to ntion, such a huge issue now.

It would definitely attract the attention of the entire world, and online users, with their moral high ground, would condemn Wanda.

Moreover, there was a conviction still tied to her.

"How do I hide Wanda from this..." Finn thought, glancing at the TV for the last ti before quickly reaching for the remote control.

Just as he was about to switch it off...

"Don't close it, I've seen it all."

From the bedroom behind him, ca Wanda's cold and magnetic voice.

"Wanda, why did you wake up so early today?"

Finn's hand, holding the remote, froze. He wanted to press the button but found that a scarlet light had wrapped around his hand, leaving him unable to move. He could only let Jason's sarcastic voice continue from the TV.

Wanda, wearing thin pajamas, leaned against the threshold, her clear eyes fixed on the TV screen.

"Witch, don't pay attention to what they're saying."

Finn could feel Wanda's emotions, and they were unstable. He knew it had to be because of Jason's words that stung her.

He walked over, his concern evident. "The truth is the most important thing. Falsehoods can never beco reality. Mysterio will never beco a hero."

"Finn, I'm fine, it's nothing, I'm used to it."

Wanda averted her gaze, no longer looking at the TV.

Although she spoke those words, her eyes, shimring with tears, betrayed her feelings.

"Witch, you really don't have to worry about it..."

Finn looked at the lovely and pitiful Wanda, unable to stop himself from pulling her into an embrace. He gently kissed her fair forehead in an attempt to comfort her.

"Finn, I don't care about what other people think. I only care about you. It's just... I rembered so bad things from the past."

Wanda took a deep breath, slowly speaking with exhaustion on her face. "You make breakfast first. I'm going to wash up."

"Alright, go ahead."

Finn nodded, understanding that he couldn't comfort Wanda all at once. After all, the events had already happened, and it was a fact that couldn't be changed.

All he could do now was comfort her little by little and try to distract her with other things.

Since there weren't many ingredients at ho, Finn decided to make a few common breakfast dishes. To calm Wanda's emotions after the news broadcast, he specially made all her favorite foods.

Osmanthus cake, preserved egg and lean at porridge, red bean paste buns...

"Finn, you're so kind!" Wanda said, sitting at the dining table, looking at the spread of her favorite foods with a smile on her pretty face.

"Eat more and get rid of the bad emotions."

Finn reached over and touched Wanda's little head before picking up a piece of sweet-scented osmanthus cake and offering it to her mouth.

Wanda took a big bite of the cake, habitually sticking out her pink tongue to lick the crumbs at the corner of her mouth.

"Ahem..."

It was such a simple gesture, but Finn couldn't help coughing uncontrollably.

Wanda truly didn't know how attractive she was.

She was now completely lost in the joy of the food, temporarily forgetting about everything else.

After finishing the half piece of cake in Finn's hand, Wanda wondered aloud, "Aren't you going to eat?"

"You eat first."

Finn swallowed hard, the mory of last night's ecstasy coming back to him.

One thing was for sure—Wanda's tongue was a lethal weapon.

"Finn, your cooking skills are obviously much better than mine. So, everything you said before was just to make happy."

Wanda devoured the sweet-scented osmanthus cake and then tried the red bean paste bun.

She found that it was several tis more delicious than anything she'd eaten outside, even at five-star hotels in Germany. Nothing compared to this.

"It feels... so much better," Wanda remarked, completely impressed by Finn's cooking.

"That was my first attempt. It'll only get better in the future," Finn said with a smile. "Maybe you're poisoning too."

Seeing Wanda eating so happily, the corners of Finn's mouth curled up involuntarily. There was sothing wonderful about being praised by soone you liked.

"Really," Wanda continued between bites, "eating food made by you has this indescribable feeling. It's like... "

She paused, her cheeks bulging as she tried to find the words.

Finn's heart skipped a beat, rembering their intimate monts together. Wanda was so innocent, and she didn't even realize the effect she had on him.

She then said, "Finn, you always make people feel sweet when you cook in the mornings."

"Well, eat more."

Finn's heart ward. He was certain that Wanda didn't realize how much she had lted his heart with such innocent words.

"By the way," Wanda suddenly looked up, taking a sip of milk before speaking.

Her crystal-clear eyes t Finn's, and she asked, "When we were in Germany, you ntioned you could make German-style sausages. If we don't have dinner, can you make grilled sausages? I want to eat them."

Finn nearly choked on his red bean paste bun.

"Cough cough cough..."

"Eat slowly, I'm already full. I won't compete with you," Wanda said, her voice tinged with concern, seeing Finn's blushing face from choking.

"I'm fine," Finn managed to say, taking a sip of milk and sitting up straight. "Actually, I don't know how to make sausages..."

Wanda raised an eyebrow at him, her tone skeptical. "So you were lying to ? You said you would invite to eat sausages, and now you're telling you don't know how to make them?"

Across the table, Finn couldn't help swallowing hard.

The reason Wanda was looking at him so intently was because her hair was still damp from the shower, and her face was slightly flushed.

When she rolled her eyes at him, it reminded Finn of the intimate monts they had shared the night before in the bathroom...

"Well, maybe I was lying..." Finn stamred. "But I do know other things that might be just as satisfying."

Wanda raised her eyebrows at him, a playful glint in her eyes. "Could it be that you secretly made it for ?

Finn could only cough in response.

---

"Cough cough cough..."

Finn coughed again, t the witch's pure gaze and question, always felt that he was cheating the little girl.

Can sothing like this be done secretly?

It seems that he can do it, but Finn is a gentleman, not a beast, so he can't do that kind of thing.

And the witch in the dream didn't respond, it's boring...

"Finn tell , when did I eat it?"

Wanda frowned, her pretty face full of distress.

I really don't rember when I ate it...

"last night."

Finn spit out two words, imdiately got up decisively and began to pack the dishes, and walked towards the kitchen.

Quickly fled the cri scene, leaving behind a dazed Wanda.

mont.

The witch's angry shout ca from the dining room.

"ah!!!"

"Finn !"

In the kitchen, Finn poked his head out to see the dining table, and beckoned to the blushing witch, "I'm here."

"I'm going to kill you"

Wanda blushed, embarrassed and eager to open her mouth.

He bit the man to death with a pair of small canine teeth.

He actually...

It turns out that there was a preditated (ahfg) plan...

Damn this guy has been thinking about this kind of thing for a long ti...

vomit!!
