"These robbers are truly unlucky," Finn said, his eyes glancing toward Wanda standing beside him.

"They didn't expect to run into Avenger in a small town like Westview," he added with a smirk.

"I didn't think Westview was this chaotic either," Wanda responded, her voice carrying a trace of hesitation. "Let's go and handle it."

Finn nodded, knowing Wanda's internal struggle. This decision wasn't easy for her.

The incident in Sokovia was still a weight she carried, even now.

The events of that day had left a scar not just on her, but on how the world viewed her.

Countless people labeled her a monster, blaming her for the chaos wrought during "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

What they failed to understand was that without Wanda, things could have turned out much worse.

Much like how the Avengers were often condemned for the destruction in battles, people conveniently ignored the fact that those very battles saved millions of lives.

Without them, New York would have been completely obliterated during Loki's invasion.

Finn and Wanda turned into a dark, damp alley.

There, a group of thugs cornered a mother and her young daughter.

The mother clung desperately to her satchel as the n sneered, pulling at it.

Their intentions were clear—it wasn't just about robbery.

The sight made Wanda's fists clench as her eyes flickered with rage.

"Hey, looks like we've got company," one of the thugs sneered, noticing the two figures at the entrance of the alley.

"John, seems like tonight's our lucky night," another laughed crudely. "More fun to be had, huh?"

"Guess we'll have a orgy"

The tallest among them, a muscular man nad Will, cracked his neck.

His grin widened as he sized up the newcors. "This little town is a goldmine. Let's not waste ti, boys."

Finn, unfazed by their taunts, stepped forward slightly, speaking in a calm voice. "Seems like you boys don't respect local order. Maybe you should learn a lesson about what happens when you cross the line."

Will let out a guttural laugh, whistling loudly. Behind Finn and Wanda, another thug erged from the shadows, holding a baseball bat and blocking their escape.

"Well, the odds have shifted now, haven't they?"

Finn glanced over his shoulder at the new arrival. With a sly smile, he lightly patted Wanda's shoulder. "All yours, Wanda."

"Are you serious?" Wanda shot him an annoyed look, but he rely stepped back, giving her space.

The thugs didn't seem to notice the red hue beginning to form at Wanda's fingertips.

"Shouldn't have brought your girl here, boy," Will sneered.

"Sorry, what did you just say?" Wanda's tone turned ice-cold, her fingers crackling with an ominous red glow.

"Did I stutter?bitch I said—"

Before Will could finish his sentence, a surge of red energy erupted from Wanda's hands, illuminating the alley in an instant.

"What the—she's one of them freaks!" one of the n shouted, stumbling backward.

The mother and daughter huddled in the corner, hope sparking in their tear-streaked faces.

"Help us, please!" the mother cried out.

Will, panicking, pulled a gun from his waistband and aid it at the mother and daughter. "Stay back! Or I'll—"

"You dare..." Wanda's voice dropped an octave, her glowing red eyes locking onto Will.

She raised her hands, and an explosive wave of energy burst forth.

The thugs were thrown against the alley walls like ragdolls.

"AHHHH!"

Their screams echoed as Wanda's magic invaded their minds, plunging them into an unrelenting nightmare.

"Get the fuck out of my head AHHHHHHH"

Will writhed on the ground, clawing at his head, veins bulging as the magic consud him.

Finn watched from the side, a mixture of awe and unease on his face.

"You really are incredible, Wanda," he murmured, feeling the sheer power radiating from her.

As the last thug at the entrance of the alley regained his senses, he pulled a gun, aiming it at Wanda.

But before he could pull the trigger, Finn's fist connected with his jaw in a precise, clean strike. The man crumpled to the ground unconscious.

"What happened?" Wanda turned around, slightly startled.

"He tried to sneak attack you, but I knocked him out," Finn said casually, shaking out his fist. "Picked up a few tricks back when I lived in my hotown."

"Everyone in your hotown knows karate?" Wanda raised an eyebrow.

"No, it's not like that." Finn let out a small laugh, realizing how ridiculous it sounded.

He turned his attention to the unconscious thugs, pulling back one of their sleeves to reveal a gang tattoo.

He made a ntal note of the symbol, filing it away for later.

"Let's leave them for the police," Finn said, looking back at Wanda. "No need to kill them."

Wanda hesitated for a mont before nodding. "Alright."

She retracted her magic, and the glowing red light dimd.

The mother and daughter rushed over, tears streaming down the woman's face as she stamred her gratitude. "Thank you... Thank you so much! If it weren't for you..."

"It's nothing," Wanda said softly, a faint smile breaking through her cold exterior.

"Thank you," the little girl whispered, peeking out from behind her mother.

Wanda crouched down, her face softening as she gently pinched the girl's cheek. "Be safe, okay? Go ho with your mom—it's not safe out here."

The mother and daughter nodded, disappearing into the night.

Wanda's gaze lingered on them as they left, sothing warm flickering in her heart.

"See, Wanda?" Finn said, stepping beside her. "Sotis, our powers can bring hope."

"Maybe," she replied, her voice quiet. "It's rare to hear soone thank ... after everything. Except for the team... and Vision..."

Her voice trailed off, a shadow crossing her face. She shook her head. "Let's go. The police will handle it."

Finn didn't push further, sensing her mood. "Alright. Let's head back."

Together, they walked out of the alley, the dim glow of streetlights guiding them back to the main road.

Wanda's steps felt a little lighter, her heart a little less burdened.
