Stephen, what are you doing here?"

Finn, who was lying on the sofa, frowned slightly. He distinctly rembered that Stephen was supposed to be organizing files in Kamar-Taj.

"I'm here to see you, Finn," Stephen said, his tone direct. Dressed in a formal suit rather than his usual robes, he glanced around the room, taking in the sight of the three of them together.

"Co in," the Dark Witch said, stepping aside.

Without hesitation, Stephen entered. He eyed Finn and the witches before his curiosity got the better of him. "Did you send her back?"

"That's not your concern," Finn replied, standing up and slipping on his shoes. "I'll explain later. What brings you here?"

Stephen exhaled and collected his thoughts. "After you left, the multiverse started to destabilize again. It's more serious than last ti."

"What happened?" Wanda asked, stepping forward, confused. The last multiversal crisis had supposedly been resolved. Why was it unraveling again?

Could it be...?

Stephen caught her expression and imdiately addressed her concern. "This is different from last ti. And this ti, it's far worse."

"Isn't this sothing you can handle?" Finn asked, arms crossed. "Kamar-Taj is always the first to respond when things go south. Isn't that your responsibility?"

Stephen's face hardened. "You underestimate the situation. This isn't an ordinary threat."

Finn's expression darkened. "Are you saying Kang the Conqueror is making his move?"

"Possibly," Stephen admitted. "Ti itself is unraveling. If Kang is behind it, then we're dealing with an opponent who wields technology from the far future. If things spiral out of control, the entire multiverse could collapse."

"And what do you expect to do about it?" Finn asked, unimpressed.

Stephen's frustration was evident. "I need your help. We can't fight this alone. Kamar-Taj doesn't have the numbers to handle Kang's potential duplications. His reach extends beyond any one tiline."

"That sounds like a you problem," Finn said flatly. "We have our own battles to prepare for. The Darkhold's teachings need to be accelerated, and in a few months, we'll be facing a greater threat. We don't have ti to clean up your ss."

"Finn, is this guy really that strong?" Wanda asked, her curiosity piqued. She had never heard much about Kang the Conqueror, and if Stephen was this desperate, the situation must be dire.

"I want to know, too," the Dark Witch added. "Is he a sorcerer?"

Finn shook his head. "Not in the traditional sense. He's a conqueror with technology far beyond our understanding. But I don't care about him right now."

"Finn, if you don't help, the multiverse will descend into chaos," Stephen pressed. "You don't want that, do you?"

Finn's gaze sharpened. "Are you threatening ?"

Stephen imdiately backtracked. "No, not at all. I'm offering you an alliance. When your 'mysterious enemy' appears in a few months, Kamar-Taj will stand with you. Every sorcerer under my command will fight by your side."

Finn smirked. "Now that's an interesting offer. Give us a mont to get ready."

Without waiting for a response, Finn turned on his heel and headed inside, motioning for the two witches to follow.

He knew the battle in a few months would be brutal. Even the Dark Witch, with all her knowledge of the Darkhold, wouldn't be enough. They needed backup. And if Kamar-Taj was willing to lend their forces, then the trade was worth it.

Inside, the Dark Witch began changing in front of them without a second thought.

"Do you mind?" Wanda scolded, covering Finn's eyes. "You have no sha."

The Dark Witch smirked. "Please, it's nothing you haven't seen before."

Ignoring the teasing, Wanda and Finn quickly changed as well. Once ready, they stepped outside, where Stephen was waiting.

"Let's not waste any more ti," Stephen said, raising his hands. A golden portal ignited before them, its edges shimring with mystic energy.

Without hesitation, they stepped through.

They erged in Kamar-Taj, where the ancient monastery stood as strong as ever. After the last attack, Finn had expected ruin, but instead, the sanctum had been rebuilt, looking even grander than before.

"Not bad. Looks like you weren't just sitting around," Finn comnted, surveying the renewed fortress.

"We do what we must," Stephen replied, already walking forward. "Wong has been waiting. Let's move."

Finn and the witches followed, their thoughts turning to the battle ahead.

"I know this place like the back of my hand," Wanda mused, floating ahead.

The Dark Witch sighed, rolling her eyes. "Wait up, show-off." And with that, she followed after her.

The Dark Witch gave her a blank look and imdiately followed her.

Finn and Stephen also followed closely behind.

As they moved, Stephen glanced at Finn. "Wanda must have advanced her mastery of the Darkhold significantly during this ti, right?"

He had sensed a new surge of energy and decided not to beat around the bush.

"That's right. The Dark Witch has been ntoring her closely. Otherwise, she wouldn't have progressed this quickly," Finn confird, not bothering to conceal anything.

Stephen mulled over Finn's words but chose to remain silent.

Soon, they arrived at the library, where countless ancient tos of magic were gathered.

"Wong is ahead. Let's go," Stephen urged them, striding forward without hesitation.

"What's the rush?" Wanda asked, slightly exasperated. The urgency in Stephen's movents made it seem as if he was racing against ti.

"This is serious. If we don't act quickly, we'll be in serious trouble," Stephen said with a grim expression.

There was no room for complacency. Kang the Conqueror was a threat beyond the scope of even Kamar-Taj's combined might.

Finn remained quiet, his mind racing. Stephen was right. According to everything he knew, Kang was once just a man, but his access to future technology made him nearly unstoppable.

If Kang made his move, the ramifications would extend across the entire multiverse, and their reality would not be spared.

"If this continues unchecked, things will spiral further out of control," Finn thought to himself.

"Finn, are you worried about sothing?" Wanda's voice pulled him from his thoughts. She had grabbed his hand, concern etched on her face.

She could see the tension in his expression, reinforcing the severity of their predicant. Stephen had been right—this crisis had already placed the entire multiverse in jeopardy.

"Stephen, you're finally here."

Wong's voice echoed as he approached them, holding a book in his hands.

"What's the situation?" Stephen asked without hesitation, his concern evident.

"It's complicated, and there's no ti for a full explanation. Co with ."

Wong sighed and led them to a wide, open area where they could sit and talk.

"Give us the details," Finn said, his voice steady but expectant. The fact that things had escalated this severely ant that Kang had a specific objective—sothing dangerous enough to justify throwing the entire multiverse into chaos.

What exactly was he after?

"Recently, we found evidence in the ancient texts that the multiverse was experiencing unusual disturbances. To investigate, we dispatched multiple sorcerers, and they traced the disturbances back to their source—Kang the Conqueror from another tiline. His presence is generating imnse energy fluctuations. If we don't act soon, things will beco far worse than we can imagine."

Wong explained the gravity of the situation, his voice grim.

If they didn't intervene, Kamar-Taj would be powerless against Kang's offensive.

Stephen had no choice but to involve Finn and the others. It wasn't just about their individual strengths—Wanda and the Dark Witch possessed imnse power, and they needed every advantage they could get.

"Have you found his exact location?" the Dark Witch asked. If they could track Kang's movents, they could launch a direct assault. After all, despite his intelligence and technology, he was still just a man leveraging future advancents.

Finn had already briefed her on Kang's capabilities.

"Not yet. His movents are erratic, and our surveillance thods have been ineffective."

Wong's frustration was evident. Kang's arrival had thrown the natural order into disarray.

If they hesitated any longer, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Finn, sitting beside them, absorbed every word, his expression serious. Wong's report confird his own fears—this wasn't just about stopping Kang; it was about preventing whatever goal he was working toward.

Kang wasn't orchestrating this chaos for nothing. He had a plan.

"If we can't pinpoint his location, how do we stop him?" Wanda asked, frowning.

Without knowing his movents, any strategy they devised would be aningless.

"We don't have enough information on his whereabouts. The tifra for our investigation was too short. We simply don't know yet," Stephen admitted, frustration lacing his words.

If Kang wasn't so elusive—or if his power wasn't so overwhelming—they wouldn't have had to rally Finn and the others for help.

anwhile, in another universe...

A dim glow illuminated the grand corridor, casting long shadows along the intricately carved walls. The opulent brilliance painted the space in an eerie light.

Leaning against the wall, Loki took a deep breath, his expression clouded with anxiety. Monts ago, he had witnessed sothing that shook him to his core—

He had watched Sylvie kill Kang the Conqueror.

And yet, the knowledge he had just uncovered in the Ti Variance Authority's archives made him question everything.

There wasn't just one Kang.

There were countless versions of him, scattered across the multiverse, each as dangerous as the last. The realization left him reeling.

With no other option, Loki sought out Mobius.

"I just ca from the archive room. Guess what I found?"

Mobius smirked, his usual nonchalant deanor unchanged. "Loki, relax. Just spit it out."

"I'm not overreacting! I saw sothing in the files—sothing terrifying. Kang the Conqueror isn't gone. He's coming back. And not just one version of him—there are many." Loki's voice was edged with alarm.

"And why is that a bad thing?" Mobius asked, raising an eyebrow. "After all, the TVA was created by Kang. Sure, there were a few... hiccups, but overall, he built sothing significant."

Loki's frustration grew. "No, Mobius, you're not listening! If Kang returns, it'll destabilize the entire multiverse."

He looked almost desperate. It wasn't just paranoia—he had seen it happen. Sylvie had struck Kang down with her own hands. And yet, here he was, finding records of Kang existing in multiple tilines.

If the archive's records were accurate, Kang had never truly died. He had rely been replaced.

That was what terrified Loki most of all. He had witnessed Kang's death, yet the mont Sylvie killed him, new versions had surfaced elsewhere. As if his demise had been nothing more than a trivial setback.

And Kang wasn't a god. He wasn't so celestial being.

He was just a man. A mortal. And yet, sohow, he had found a way to defy death itself.

"Calm down, Loki. Just explain it clearly. What's going on?" Mobius asked, frowning. Loki was rarely this shaken.

"I an that Kang the Conqueror was personally killed by Sylvie... but the files say he's still out there. Sohow, he survived."

Loki forced himself to steady his voice.

"So, from your perspective, Kang didn't really die?" Mobius pressed, trying to piece things together.

"Exactly. And you're starting to see the problem, aren't you?" Loki t Mobius' gaze, swallowing hard.

It was terrifying. He had watched a mortal body be slain before his eyes, only for Kang to erge elsewhere, untouched, alive.

"I don't know yet, but how can you be sure those records are accurate?" Mobius asked, skeptical.

"I don't know, but—"

Loki stopped abruptly, his blood running cold.

He turned his head slowly.

Lining the walls of the grand hall were statues—

All of them were Kang the Conqueror.
