Obadiah relentlessly demanded that Tony hand over the Arc Reactor technology.

This technology belonged to Stark Industries!

At present, Stark Industries' stock price was still plumting.

Without new technology to stabilize things, they had no solution at all.

Worse, there were constant forces targeting Stark Industries behind the scenes.

As a long-ti partner of the military, Stark Industries had taken an unknown amount of business from other arms dealers—

such as Hamr Industries,

and Oscorp.

Now that Stark had voluntarily given up this advantage,

those companies were eager to crush Stark Industries in one blow.

With their interference, Stark's stock dropped another ten-plus percent.

Compared to its peak, the company was now worth only a fraction—barely ten to twenty percent.

After thirty years of hard work, Obadiah was so furious he nearly spat blood.

Today—

he intended to take full control of Stark Industries.

If Tony refused to cooperate, he would simply be removed.

Once this storm passed, Tony could be dealt with—

killed, or even imprisoned.

After all, if Tony could build a miniaturized Arc Reactor in a cave,

what could he create with a proper laboratory?

The answer was obvious—countless powerful weapons.

And this wasn't just Obadiah's idea.

The vested interests behind him thought the sa.

Tony Stark should remain a playboy.

Stark Industries only needed to carry his na.

As for business—

he didn't need to be involved at all.

Over the years, without Tony interfering, Stark Industries and the military had worked together seamlessly.

Now, problems had arisen.

And when a problem couldn't be solved—

you removed the one who raised it.

Tony—

was the problem to be eliminated.

That was why both board mbers and military representatives were present to support Obadiah.

"You can forget about the Arc Reactor," Tony said coldly.

"Stark Industries still bears my na.

That ans I decide its direction.

Now—please leave."

He directly issued an order to expel them.

Obadiah sneered.

He casually glanced behind him.

A military officer stepped forward.

"Mr. Stark, we will not interfere in your company's internal affairs.

However, we need to take Frank in for questioning.

During your kidnapping, the military expended significant resources but failed to locate you.

Yet a retired soldier sohow obtained that information.

We suspect he is connected to your kidnapping.

He must cooperate with our investigation."

The officer spoke in a formal, procedural tone.

Tony's expression imdiately darkened.

"Colonel Rhodes has already conducted a preliminary investigation.

Frank is now my personal bodyguard.

Without my permission, you have no authority to interfere."

"I'm afraid we do.

Furthermore, we've linked Frank to multiple attacks over the past few months.

He is suspected of several murders.

At present, he is a criminal suspect."

Another military representative spoke up.

"Frank, surrender!"

The soldiers imdiately raised their guns and aid at him.

Tony's expression changed.

If they targeted him, his status would at least restrain them.

But if they targeted Frank—

that would be real trouble.

Standing behind Tony, Frank showed no concern.

Instead, his gaze toward the soldiers turned dangerous.

So—

I'm the real target this ti.

The restraint he had maintained recently began to loosen.

Did they really think he was easy to deal with?

If not for Qin Xiao's orders—

New York would already be soaked in blood.

His wife and daughter's deaths—

had yet to be avenged.

He had suppressed himself long enough.

Did they mistake that for weakness?

Whoever stood behind this—

had gravely underestimated him.

"Mr. Stark, I'll go with them."

Frank spoke calmly.

He wanted to see what they were planning.

Tony understood exactly what Frank was capable of.

Frank wasn't just a man—

he was a powder keg.

Taking him away like this—

was practically asking for death.

And yet, Tony could only watch as the military escorted Frank away.

Now, only Obadiah and the board mbers remained in the villa.

Obadiah's expression turned cold.

"Tony, your bodyguard is accused of serious cris.

If he's taken away, he may never co back.

Hand over the Arc Reactor.

Stark Industries and the military can remain partners."

The implication was obvious—

refuse, and Frank would disappear forever.

Only then did Tony think of Qin Xiao.

Frank was his man.

He needed to inform him.

But just as the thought ford—

BOOM—!

A violent explosion sounded in the distance.

"That's… the military convoy!"
