Barton: If that's really true, then great. I really don't want sothing that terrifying living next door.
Rhodey: Looks like we're in the clear.
Natasha: Don't relax just yet. What if it absorbs enough energy and leaves that sun? What if it heads here?
Barton: Don't scare like that!
The Ancient One: It's possible. But there's no need to panic—if that day cos, I'll deal with it.
Doctor Strange: With the Ancient One on our side, even the worst monster isn't worth worrying about.
Mordo: Still… which sun is it in, exactly?
Everyone turned their attention to the screen, which displayed the Solar Parasite as it slithered across the surface of a blazing sun—though the exact star system remained unknown.
Thanos: It's near .
That sudden declaration stunned everyone.
Nick Fury: What do you an near you?!
Thanos: Just what I said. It's currently near my warship.
Back on Thanos' ship, the Titan had been silently watching the screen—but when the Solar Parasite appeared nearby, his expression shifted.
"My lord, shall we act?" Ebony Maw asked curiously.
"Of course. If I can contain it… who knows what kind of reward I might gain?"
Thanos rose with faint amusent in his voice.
"I'll mobilize our troops imdiately!" Corvus Glaive responded without hesitation.
"No need. None of you can reach the sun. Only I can handle this. And besides… I don't want to kill it."
With calm confidence, Thanos looked down at the Infinity Gauntlet and its glimring gems.
"Prepare a scout ship."
With that, he turned and strode deeper into the warship—his followers quickly following behind.
Soon after, a small single-person craft launched from the mothership, flying at full speed toward the nearby sun.
Inside the pod… was only Thanos.
As he neared the inferno, Thanos engaged the autopilot and opened the hatch.
Thanks to his Titan physiology—enhanced further by the Infinity Stones—he could survive in the vacuum of space, if only briefly.
Clenching his fist, the Power Stone began to shine.
A torrential wave of radiant purple energy surged from the gem, rising above Thanos' head and condensing into a massive orb of destruction.
With a mighty swing, Thanos hurled the glowing sphere directly at the Solar Parasite.
The creature was weaving along the sun's surface, feeding—when suddenly, the purple sphere ripped through solar flas and slamd into it!
Though space carried no sound, the blinding purple explosion lit up half the sun's surface.
The parasite was slamd flat by the blow.
It quickly rose in fury, turning toward the attack's origin—Thanos, already preparing for another strike.
"Hmph."
With a low grunt audible only to himself, Thanos punched again, unleashing a purple beam at the creature.
The Solar Parasite retaliated—its gaping maw spewed a stream of scorching, molten fla that collided with Thanos' blast.
The clash erupted into a dazzling burst of sparks and violet motes scattering through space.
As the sparks and light fragnts spread, the Power Stone glead—drawing them inward once more.
They rged into dozens of orbs, each over a hundred ters in diater, every one pulsing with annihilating force.
Then, with a casual gesture, Thanos launched them all—like a teor shower—at the Solar Parasite.
The beast twisted its imnse body, spewing countless fireballs that blasted in all directions.
Each of Thanos' orbs was intercepted and destroyed.
So of the parasite's fireballs even closed in on Thanos himself.
Unfazed, he swung again—purple streams of energy erupting from his arm and shattering the incoming flas.
"So it can resist part of the Power Stone's might… Impressive."
A smile crept onto Thanos' face.
His desire to possess this creature only grew.
The Solar Parasite let out a silent roar and coiled itself into a tight mass.
Then—BOOM—it launched itself directly at Thanos!
The screen had explained: the Solar Parasite needed imnse energy to escape the sun's gravity.
Apparently, it had gathered enough—because it launched out easily, accelerating toward Thanos.
As it drew near, the sheer heat of its body ignited Thanos' limbs and even set his ship ablaze.
They were still hundreds of ters apart—but the radiant heat struck first.
Flas danced on Thanos' body.
Expression grave, he gritted his teeth through the searing pain.
Raising his arm, the Mind Stone flared to life.
A yellow beam shot forth, striking the creature in the head.
Unlike the Power Stone's blasts, this wasn't raw destruction.
But it had a different effect—the parasite stopped moving.
Gone was the wrath and bloodlust.
It hovered there, frozen in place… docile.
"Your body's too hot. Cool it down—or back away," Thanos instructed via telepathy.
The creature obeyed, retreating a good distance.
"Good. Now bow before and swear allegiance."
The Solar Parasite bent low—so low it dipped beneath Thanos' height.
A clear sign of submission.
"Excellent."
Thanos nodded in satisfaction.
Their brief clash had proven the creature's might—capable of resisting a portion of the Power Stone's force.
That alone placed it above most beings in the universe.
"With power like this under my command, collecting the rest of the Infinity Stones and fulfilling my ambitions… it's only a matter of ti."
Thanos' eyes glead with intensity.
Then he looked down at the Mind Stone.
"So long as they exist within this universe, it doesn't matter what world or reality they co from—I can dominate their will. That ans any beast, any SCP… can beco my soldier."
