The Xenomorphs moved fast—within monts, they had reached the unconscious Asgardian soldiers and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, ready to strike.
"Not good!"
Tony Stark imdiately tried to protect them.
But that mont of distraction cost him. Several Xenomorphs pinned him down into the water.
Their claws dug into the gaps of the Mark suit and, with a mighty pull, tore apart the armor—armor that could even withstand cannon fire—exposing the inner wiring and Tony Stark's body.
"Sir! The suit's integrity is compromised! Over 80% damage sustained!"
JARVIS imdiately reported.
"I can see that!"
Tony snapped, firing his repulsor to blast away nearby Xenomorphs.
But the Xenomorphs were relentless. One of them shoved a finger into the repulsor, causing it to explode right in Tony's palm, destroying the armor's hand section.
Now, most of Tony's body was exposed to the Xenomorphs' hungry gaze.
The Xenomorphs raised their claws, ready to shred him apart.
"Bang!"
At the critical mont, Thor charged over, swinging Mjolnir to smash away the Xenomorphs around Tony, saving his life.
He then turned to the unconscious soldiers.
The Xenomorphs had already grabbed the Asgardian and S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers, seemingly planning to use them as hostages to deter Thor and the others.
In the past, Thor and Rogers might have hesitated.
But not anymore—not with Rogers here.
Rogers calmly walked up behind the Xenomorphs holding hostages.
Without a mont's hesitation, he delivered precise punches and kicks, smashing their heads like waterlons.
To the outside world, the Xenomorphs' heads just exploded mysteriously, an eerie sight.
"As expected, no sche can work against absolute speed."
Tony Stark comnted as he watched.
He had been studying the principle of Clock Up recently, trying to understand how to enter another temporal dinsion for acceleration. He had even consulted Cain and the Ancient One.
The conclusion: current technology couldn't achieve it.
And there was no way the Ancient One would lend him the Ti Stone for experints.
Tony was considering other acceleration thods—but those were all based on physical acceleration, which would create intense shockwaves.
Like a supersonic jet flying through a city street: even without firing, its speed alone would cause massive destruction.
So in Tony's eyes, Clock Up was the ideal form of acceleration.
"It's fast, sure, but if I elentalize and move through lightning, I'm no slower."
Thor, feeling his pride challenged, spoke up unhappily.
If not for the current environnt, he would have loved to race Rogers to see who was faster.
"Yeah, right. I don't want to get killed because of you. And... thanks for earlier."
Tony nodded his thanks to Thor, then anxiously looked at the remaining Xenomorphs.
At the mont, those Xenomorphs were being pumled by Rogers in high-speed mode.
They had no idea what was happening, and their panic kept them from focusing on Thor and the others.
"Get as far away as you can. You're in no state to protect yourself right now."
Thor advised Tony.
"Please. Where can I even go? I should've prepared a backup suit earlier."
Tony grumbled as he tapped on his phone, summoning his backup suits from his mansion.
"We need firepower—sothing massive, but that won't hurt us."
As he spoke, soone landed beside them.
"You talking about ?"
It was Rhodey, wearing the Iron Patriot suit. He looked at the Xenomorphs ahead.
"What took you so long?"
Tony asked in frustration.
"Sorry, the military wanted explanations, and with Nick Fury gone, I didn't know what to say. It took a lot of effort to sort things out."
Rhodey replied helplessly, then glanced at the panicked Xenomorphs.
"Captain Rogers, let handle the rest."
Rogers nodded and retreated, leaving the remaining thirty Xenomorphs for Rhodey.
Rhodey fired a Chrysal Missile into the Xenomorph horde.
First, a cloud of graphite particles spread over the area, coating everything.
Then countless crystalline molecules spread across the Xenomorphs, turning them all into sparkling sculptures in the blink of an eye.
"Nice."
Rhodey nodded in satisfaction.
But then he looked back at Tony and the others... only to see that they were all covered in graphite, staring at him in silent exasperation.
"Next ti you fire the Chrysal Missile, give us a heads-up."
Tony rolled his eyes.
Rhodey could only pretend he hadn't heard anything.
["Greedy Worm Sand of the Marvel Universe, Ti Bird, and Xenomorphs have been contained. Reward settlent comncing."]
The screen displayed a system ssage.
["Reward: Ancient One and the mages who fought Ti Bird will gain an internal Magic Core."]
