Deep within the blood pool, countless monsters were still crawling upward—

But in the blink of an eye, they were obliterated by the barrage of radiant white teors.

No one knew how many creatures had died within.

And the teor shower wasn't stopping after clearing a few—it continued pouring downward, deeper and deeper into the pool.

Those countless white streaks of light shot into the depths of the blood pool, bound for who-knew-where, with no sign of stopping.

Outside the blood pool—

"Hahaha…"

Diana slumped to the ground, completely exhausted. If it weren't for the Sword of Oath of Victory supporting her, she probably would've collapsed completely.

She imdiately activated Avalon, the Distant Ideal Land, to rapidly recover her stamina.

"You okay?"

Arthur rushed over to guard her side.

"I'd love to say yes… but I'm exhausted. I haven't fought this hard in ages."

Diana gave a helpless laugh.

Not since her battle with Ares had she been this drained.

And even then, that battle wasn't this taxing.

"You really take everything out of ," she muttered, glancing at the Sword of Oath of Victory.

She had gained a deeper understanding of this weapon.

"So… did we succeed? Are more monsters going to co out of the blood pool?"

Arthur looked toward it with concern.

"I'm not sure. We'll have to wait and see."

Diana didn't have a clear answer either. Her eyes remained fixed on the pool.

Thankfully, for now, the blood pool had stopped spawning monsters.

"Let's deal with the rest of the ones out here first."

With Avalon helping to restore her energy, Diana pushed herself back into the fray.

There were still plenty of monsters left to clear on the surface.

Marvel Universe

"You saw that, right? We need power that can pierce the Earth just to stop the blood pool from producing more monsters!"

Tony Stark shouted while launching a cluster of crystalline missiles at the surrounding creatures.

"Are you kidding ? Where are we supposed to get power like that?!"

Rhodey called out in frustration.

"I don't know either!"

Tony replied helplessly. He didn't exactly have a weapon of that scale lying around.

As he was talking to Rhodey, a several-hundred-ter-tall monster reached out and grabbed him.

No matter how hard Tony struggled, he couldn't break free.

Just as the monster was about to crush him—

BOOM!

Thor dropped from the sky, slamming Mjölnir into the monster's head and crushing its skull inward, knocking its enormous body to the ground and freeing Tony.

"Hey, Tin Man! You alright?"

Thor looked down with a smirk.

"Thanks… and it's Iron Man. Or Tony Stark."

Tony muttered, irritated by the nickna.

"I'll try to rember. Leave the big ones to ."

Thor looked completely at ease.

Since reclaiming Mjölnir, he felt even stronger than before.

While others struggled against massive creatures hundreds of ters tall, Thor could crush them with a single swing.

Even the kiloter-scale ones only required a little more effort.

This overwhelming advantage was starting to go to his head.

"Hey guys, lots of monsters are headed toward the town!"

Barton's voice ca through the comms.

From his aircraft, he could see a swarm of monsters closing in on the town.

Even with everyone fighting tooth and nail, there were just too many monsters. So were slipping through.

Barton, despite his injuries, kept firing arrow after arrow, turning them into teor showers that bombarded the oncoming threat.

Nick Fury had also ordered the aircrafts to strafe the monsters with machine gun fire.

But it was barely enough.

"I'm heading there now!"

Though he didn't have a comm device, Thor—who was nearby—heard the ssage clearly. He imdiately swung Mjölnir and flew into the air.

"Co to think of it… where's Loki?"

Thor looked down in confusion.

He had seen Loki wielding Frostmourne earlier, fighting alongside them—so where had he disappeared to?

anwhile, in the town—

Monsters had already flooded in, wreaking havoc everywhere.

Screams echoed throughout the streets.

"Help!!"

"Soone save us!!"

"My child!!"

What had once been a peaceful, happy town had turned into hell on Earth.

Under the onslaught of monsters, civilization was visibly crumbling.

"Ahhh!!"

A mother and her son cowered in terror before a several-hundred-ter-tall monster shaped like a bull.

It hadn't seen them—just happened to be walking in their direction—but its next step would crush them.

With nowhere to run, the mother and child clung to each other, closing their eyes in despair.

But after a few seconds, the expected pain never ca.

They hesitantly opened their eyes—

The monster before them had frozen solid, mid-step, its foot only inches away.

Just then, an icy wind swept through the sky above the town.

Snowflakes began to fall.

And monsters, no matter how large, started freezing into towering ice statues.

The terrified citizens looked around in stunned silence, overwheld by the sudden winter landscape and frozen monsters.

"People of Earth, fear no longer!"

Standing atop the head of a frozen beast, Loki's voice rang out confidently.

"With a god of Asgard—Loki—on your side, no monster shall harm you!"

Everyone looked up in a daze, eyes drawn to the figure above.

"I am Loki! Your great god! I will protect you all from these beasts!"

Loki announced, clearly enjoying himself.

"A… god?"

"Is he really divine?"

"Did he just save us?"

In monts of despair, people are quick to turn to miracles.

And now, with their town monts from annihilation, Loki's sudden salvation shook their once-grounded beliefs.

ROOOAAARRR!!!

More monster howls rang out as yet another wave approached the town.

Panic returned.

But Loki only smiled—mischievous and full of confidence.
