Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper couldn't contain their excitent after witnessing the imnse power of the plasma cannon. Their eyes sparkled like stars as they danced around in awe.
High-tech weaponry held an irresistible appeal for them, montarily making them forget about the dire situation.
However, the feathers of the Seraph of Ten Thousand Wings continued to proliferate relentlessly. As long as there was noise, more feathers would erge, spreading like a tsunami to consu everything in their path.
Everywhere they looked, a sea of white feathers extended endlessly, with no visible way out. The Thousand Sunny relied on its wind jets and Nami's Sky Dragon Slayer Magic to escape higher into the sky, avoiding the relentless pursuit of the feathers.
"This is impossible! There are just too many feathers!"
Brook cried out in panic.
"Franky, fire the plasma cannon again!"
Usopp shouted urgently.
"You idiot! That thing doesn't fire on command!"
Franky retorted, frustrated.
The plasma cannon required incredibly high specifications for its firing chanism. The earlier shot had nearly destroyed the cannon barrel, and Franky knew that firing again recklessly could end up destroying the entire Sunny.
"Wait! If we don't make any noise, the feathers can't track us! All we have to do is stay quiet!"
Usopp exclaid, his face lighting up with realization.
"Wow! Usopp, you're so smart!"
Chopper looked at him with admiration.
"Nami, quick! Take the Sunny higher into the sky, where the feathers can't hear us!"
Usopp called out excitedly.
"Are you kidding ? Do you think my magic uses no energy?!"
Nami shouted back, clearly exasperated.
Sustaining the Sunny's flight consud an enormous amount of her magic power, draining both her stamina and focus.
"Usopp, your idea isn't bad, but you've forgotten one thing," Robin interjected calmly.
"Huh? What's that?"
Usopp asked, puzzled.
"There's more than just us in this sky."
Robin gestured toward another part of the sky.
A flock of Scare Vultures and several Rodans were frantically flying toward them, desperately trying to escape the pursuing mass of feathers.
These flying beasts had witnessed the terrifying nature of the feathers firsthand. No matter how much they attacked, their efforts were futile, and many of their kind had already been consud. They had no choice but to flee.
But their panicked flight generated significant noise, which only attracted more feathers in an endless chase.
"Ah! This is bad!"
Usopp's tongue twisted nervously as he grasped the severity of the situation.
"At this rate, we'll be swallowed up too—whether by suffocation, consumption, or being crushed," Robin remarked, analyzing their possible fates.
"Stop cursing us!"
Usopp yelled, panic-stricken.
"What do we do?!"
Chopper ran around frantically.
"Damn it!"
Zoro and Sanji prepared for battle, their faces tense with determination.
"Hehehe!"
Luffy suddenly leaped onto the railing, a wide grin spreading across his face.
"DUN DUN DUN~~~ DUN DUN~~~ DUN DUN DUN~~~"
At that mont, Luffy's heartbeat took on an intense, rhythmic cadence, compelling everyone to feel an almost irresistible urge to dance.
Steam began to rise from his body, and his hair gradually turned white.
He launched himself into the air, laughing wildly.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Luffy took a deep breath, almost as if inhaling all the surrounding air.
The next second, his body expanded rapidly, transforming into a towering giant over dozens of ters tall.
Gear Fifth – Nika Form Activated!
"HAHAHAHA!!!"
As he laughed, black lightning crackled across his body, and his skin beca coated with a tallic sheen of black armor.
Both Armant Haki and Conqueror's Haki surged, enveloping him.
"Gomu Gomu no… Whip!"
Luffy twisted his body in mid-air like a spinning top, launching a powerful kick. His leg stretched out to an unimaginable length, slashing through the mass of feathers like a whip.
Before his leg even made contact, the sheer force of the impact created a massive shockwave, scattering countless feathers in all directions.
"Hey, Rodan!"
Luffy spotted a passing Rodan and stretched his right hand toward it.
His arm extended like a rope, wrapping around Rodan's upper body and pulling it close. Luffy grinned, looking as if they were best buddies.
"SCREEEE!!!"
Rodan, still fleeing for its life, was enraged by being grabbed. It opened its beak and unleashed a stream of fire at Luffy.
Unfazed, Luffy opened his mouth and swallowed the flas, then spat them back at Rodan, setting its head ablaze.
"SCREEEE!!!"
Rodan was utterly bewildered. Its own flas had been turned against it.
"Rodan, help keep my friends in the air. Don't let them fall. Hehehe!"
Luffy chuckled, grabbing the Thousand Sunny with his other hand.
Ignoring the screams of his crewmates, he yanked the ship toward him with trendous speed, the inertia nearly sending them all flying.
He placed the Sunny on top of Rodan's head and patted the beast's shoulder.
"Take care of them for a bit!"
Before Rodan could react, Luffy pushed it upward. Realizing the Sunny was now atop its head, Rodan stabilized its flight, not daring to shake them off.
Normally, Rodan would have violently resisted anyone daring to use it like this. However, the overwhelming display of Luffy's power left it no choice but to comply.
It recalled another monster from outer space and decided to surrender quietly.
With his crewmates secured, Luffy turned back to face the sea of feathers. The relentless mass surrounded him, ready to engulf him entirely.
