"Well, no matter what, I'm just glad we're safe. Diana, I'm counting on you to handle things going forward. If there's anything I can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask," Barry said shyly to Diana.
His words left him feeling awkward, and he half-opened his mouth, unsure of what else to say.
Diana, seeing Barry's flustered deanor, couldn't help but smile and shake her head. Her reaction made Barry even more embarrassed, and he awkwardly walked away, unsure of how to compose himself.
Back at the Batcave, Alfred observed the interaction between Diana and Barry, shaking his head in exasperation.
"Master Wayne, it seems you may have so competition soon. Let's hope I'm wrong," Alfred remarked.
["Congratulations to Diana and Barry Allen for successfully containing the Underground Fla Demon Giant. Rewards are being distributed."]
"What?! Whose voice was that?" Barry exclaid, startled by the sudden announcent.
"Shh, stay quiet," Diana said, already accustod to such occurrences, signaling for Barry to remain calm.
["Diana is rewarded with the Rope of Deception. Barry Allen is rewarded with the Dionysian Factor."]
When the announcent ended, a glowing rope materialized in Diana's hands.
"The Rope of Deception?" Diana murmured, inspecting the unfamiliar artifact with a puzzled expression. She vaguely rembered reading about it in Themyscira's ancient texts, but the details eluded her.
anwhile, Barry stared at the small vial of green liquid tal that had appeared in his hands, utterly confused.
"Uh... Dionysian Factor? Isn't this just so kind of liquid tal?" Barry asked, turning it over skeptically.
["The Rope of Deception is a creation of Hephaestus, much like the Lasso of Truth. Forged from his own doubts, it serves a purpose opposite to that of the Lasso. While the Lasso compels truth, the Rope of Deception manipulates perception, causing those ensnared by it to believe lies, even if the truth is right in front of them."]
["The Dionysian Factor is an extraordinary tal unique to the DC Universe. While inert in appearance, it activates when its possessor is near death. It heals all injuries, cures diseases, restores health, and can even revive the dead and extend life."]
As the descriptions played on the screen, Diana's gaze sharpened, and she examined the Rope of Deception more intently.
"So this is another of Hephaestus's works!" Diana exclaid, recalling its ntion in Themyscira's ancient writings. This artifact had been lost for ages, only to find its way back into her hands.
Looking at the rope, Diana pursed her lips. She found it distasteful. Unlike the honorable combat she preferred, the Rope of Deception relied on lies and trickery—thods she swore never to use.
Barry, on the other hand, stared at the Dionysian Factor with disbelief. "This little thing can heal injuries, cure diseases, and even bring soone back from the dead? That's ridiculous!"
Diana smirked. "We could test it out. I could half-kill you, and we'll see if it works."
"No way!" Barry imdiately rejected the idea, rembering Diana's overwhelming strength. He wasn't about to volunteer as her test subject.
"Well, I guess we'll wait until you actually get hurt," Diana shrugged, her tone teasing.
"I'm too fast for anyone to hit . I won't need it," Barry replied confidently.
"Oh? Then what about the blood on your face?" Diana quipped, pointing at Barry's cheek.
Barry quickly rembered the earlier ambush by the fly-like Fla Demon Giant and hurriedly wiped the blood off. "That was... an accident! Just an accident!"
Diana chuckled at Barry's panicked reaction, shaking her head at his youthful antics.
Elsewhere in the Batcave
"The Dionysian Factor... healing, revival, and life extension. This sounds familiar," Bruce Wayne muttered, recalling a long-ti adversary and forr ntor—Ra's al Ghul.
Bruce had defeated Ra's nurous tis, often leaving him gravely injured or even presud dead. Yet, Ra's always returned, seemingly unscathed. Rumors spoke of an ancient artifact that had granted Ra's his unnaturally long life.
"Could the Dionysian Factor be related to Ra's survival?" Bruce speculated.
"If I can contact Barry later, I must convince him to let study this substance," Bruce resolved.
Comnt Section on the Screen
Chopper: "That Dionysian Factor is amazing! If it can heal and revive people, wouldn't doctors beco unnecessary?"
Diana: "It's only one vial, Chopper. It's not sothing that can help everyone."
Tony Stark: "Hah! News of this would cause a global frenzy. Everyone would want it!"
Nick Fury: "Every wealthy individual on Earth would stop at nothing to obtain even a fraction of it. Who doesn't want to live longer?"
Naruto: "If we had this, we could save so many lives on the battlefield!"
Captain Arica: "That's a noble thought, Naruto."
Zoro: "Why is a healing substance nad after alcohol?"
Manigoldo: "I was wondering the sa thing."
Loki: "The Rope of Deception, now that's my kind of artifact. Tricking people even when the truth is obvious? Delightful."
Sanji: "Imagine using it on Nami-san and Robin-chan..."
Brook: "Sanji! We can all see what you're thinking!"
Sanji: "Wait, wait, it's not like that!"
Nami and Robin both shot icy glares at Sanji, who imdiately panicked.
"Sanji, what are you planning?"
"It's not what it looks like! Please let explain!"
But his protests were in vain.
"Sky Dragon's Roar!"
"Requip: Heaven's Wheel Armor, Blades of the Heavens!"
"Ahhhhh!"
Sanji's screams echoed across Skull Island, attracting the attention of nearby monsters.
"Sanji, you idiot!"
The rest of the Straw Hat crew groaned as they prepared to deal with the incoming threat.
