Nick Fury: "But why don't the people in the store all unite? If so many of them banded together, they could survive longer and prevent their bases from being destroyed, right?"
Natasha: "Maybe it's because they're too attached to the foundations they've built, or maybe there isn't enough space to accommodate so many people."
Barton: "How could there not be enough space? Perhaps the towns are just too far apart, and moving is a huge hassle."
Loki: "I think it's just human shortsightedness. They find it inconvenient, or maybe selfishness cos into play, and they don't want to co together. If soone were to lead them, they could surely unite all the people in the store."
Tony Stark: "So, this sounds like you're volunteering to be their savior, Mr. Ego. You're talking about yourself, aren't you? Are you going to be the hero of IKEA?"
Loki: "Human! How dare you call arrogant! And what's wrong with being their savior? With my intelligence and wisdom, I could easily lead them to survive and escape that store."
Tony Stark: "Oh really? Well, make sure you check out IKEA when it pops up in your realm then."
Loki: "Haha, why would I? Why would I lead a bunch of primitive people? What's the point of leading them out?"
Everyone couldn't help but roll their eyes at Loki's sudden reversal.
Garp: "Are you a child? You keep changing your mind."
Loki: "Human! Watch your tongue!"
Gen: "What are you all talking about? What's this infinite store you're discussing?"
At that mont, Gen and Dan, who hadn't been involved for a while, joined the conversation.
Naruto: "Gen, you're back! So, how's the stairwell going?"
Gen Ootori: "It's complicated. We lost a team mber, but fortunately, we managed to rescue another. And that monster? I ran into it after it killed the alien. My power is stronger than its, but no matter how I destroy it, even if I blow it into pieces, it always reappears. It's quite the hassle."
Diana: "With your power, can't you destroy the space itself?"
Gen Ootori: "I've tried, but it doesn't work at all."
In the Ultraman Leo World.
Gen reverted to his human form and carried his teammate out of the stairwell.
He glanced back at the dark stairwell behind him.
The monster inside was staring at Gen before turning around and walking deeper into the stairwell. It seed unable to co out.
Earlier, when Gen Ootori transford into Leo to carry his teammate out, he used the L77 beam to attack the stairwell. Despite the terrifying explosion, the stairwell remained completely intact—not even a crack appeared. It was utterly indestructible.
"It seems like what we see is just the surface of the stairwell. There are more secrets hidden within," Dan comnted as he walked over.
"Captain, what about the monster?" Gen imdiately asked.
"Destroyed by Gantress," Dan replied, pointing outside. [Gantress is the cha he got]
The broken body of a monster lay nearby, covered in scorch marks from Gantress' bombardnt.
Facing Gantress' power, most monsters couldn't even put up a fight.
According to Moroboshi's calculations, only high-level Earth monsters like Gomora, or super beasts, could resist Gantress.
"Captain, what should we do about the stairwell? Not even Leo's power could destroy it," Gen Ootori asked, feeling a tinge of fear rising in his heart. What kind of entity was behind this? Was it so sort of malevolent prank by a terrifying being?
Leo's L77 beam could flatten a city, yet it couldn't even scratch a simple-looking stairwell.
This made Gen hesitate to enter the stairwell again.
"Damn it, how could I be so cowardly!"
Frustrated, Gen slapped himself, ashad of his weakness.
Dan, unaware of Gen's inner turmoil, released his Ultra psychic power to gather the surrounding debris and block the entrance to the stairwell.
"No matter what, we must seal this place and keep everyone away from it. Fortunately, the monster inside can't co out," Dan said as he used his psychic power to move the rocks and stones around, completely sealing the stairwell entrance and even the platforms inside. This way, anyone approaching would hesitate to get too close.
"I've already contacted the higher-ups to have this place sealed. As for the reason, well, you'll have to help co up with a good excuse," Dan said, rubbing his head.
Convincing the higher-ups to agree to his request would be no small feat.
"Congratulations to Dan for successfully containing the stairwell. Your reward: Ultra Glasses repaired."
At that mont, an electronic voice echoed.
As the electronic sound from the screen played, Dan felt sothing shift in his chest.
He imdiately pulled out his Ultra Glasses, and they were fully restored. Previously, his Ultra Glasses had been damaged when he was gravely injured.
Now, with the glasses repaired, Dan could transform into Ultraseven once again.
"It's just my leg..."
Dan looked at his broken leg. Even with his glasses, his leg wasn't healed, and it would be a significant hindrance if he transford into Ultraseven.
"Oh well, I can find other ways to fight," Dan comforted himself.
When the others learned about Dan's reward, they were a bit puzzled.
Rhodey: "Repairing the Ultra Glasses? What does that an? What are they?"
Bruce Wayne: "Ultra Glasses? Are they related to Ultraman? Dan, are you an Ultraman too?"
Dan: "At this point, I might as well tell you. Yes, I am Ultraman. I'm not human. My real na is Ultraseven."
Dan decided to reveal the truth since it was no longer possible to hide his identity.
Tony Stark: "What?! You're an alien too?"
Nick Fury: "You've got to be kidding! You're the leader of the Earth Defense Force, and you're an alien?!"
Fury wasn't the only one shocked. Everyone was surprised to learn that the leader of Earth's defense was an alien. It was a hard concept to grasp.
Dan: "I don't care what you think. All I can tell you is that my love for Earth is as strong as any human's. I have no ulterior motives."
Gen: "I can vouch for that. Even aliens can love Earth deeply."
Luffy: "I don't get it, but it sounds aweso! You can transform together to fight monsters. That's so cool!"
Naruto: "Yeah! That must be really aweso!"
Sengoku: "Are you idiots? Is the coolness factor really what matters here?"
Luffy: "What's the big deal? Dan already said there's no problem, so let's trust him."
