"Let's do this!"
Stark wasn't the type to just talk and not act. Once he made a decision, he imdiately set out for genetic modification.
An hour later, Tony's body underwent a startling transformation.
Though he still looked human on the surface, a pair of snow-white wings sprouted from his back.
He was now truly like an angel from biblical mythology, flying through the air.
According to the data, this angelic gene granted him powerful regenerative abilities. Even if subjected to heavy weaponry, as long as his vital areas weren't damaged, he could regenerate.
He was almost immortal.
The most crucial aspect was that his physical strength surpassed the limits of human capabilities.
If Tony had this kind of physique back then, he could have fought his way out of the Ten Rings' base even without his suit.
After so practice flying and getting used to his new form at ho, Tony couldn't resist flying outside to enjoy the night sky.
"Woohoo! So this is what it feels like to fly on your own power, completely different from wearing the suit!"
Tony's face was full of excitent, like a child who had just received a new toy.
"Sir, I suggest you don't fly too far; you might get caught on cara," Jarvis reminded.
"Don't worry, Jarvis. I'm smart enough not to get caught. Besides, even if this got out, who would believe it?"
Tony was utterly unconcerned. With his love for showing off, he wouldn't mind if the whole world knew he was an angel.
After a satisfying flight in the night sky, Tony returned to his villa.
"Hey, Tony."
Pepper Potts had just co in, smiling as she was about to report sothing to Tony.
But the mont she saw Tony descending from the sky, she froze.
When did this man beco an angel?
"Tony! You're... you're an angel! How is this possible?"
Pepper was utterly shocked, unable to believe what she was seeing.
This man, who was frivolous, often neglected the company, and had no sense of decorum, was actually an angel?
This was shattering her worldview!
At this mont, Pepper felt like her entire belief system was collapsing.
"Uh, uh, uh..."
Seeing Pepper's reaction, Tony instantly felt a headache coming on. How was he supposed to explain this?
...
DC Universe, Gotham City at Night.
Since a large number of inmates escaped from Arkham Asylum, Gotham had once again plunged into chaos.
As soon as night fell, cris occurred in every corner of the city.
The police were overwheld, and one man decided to take action.
On the rooftop of the Gotham City Police Departnt, Commissioner Gordon turned on the Bat-Signal, projecting it into the sky, hoping to summon Batman.
"Is there sothing wrong?"
The next second, Batman's voice ca through.
Batman had transford into Kan Rider Knight, appearing at the edge of the building.
"They said you changed your gear. It seems true. Are you going for a dieval knight style now?" Gordon asked, curious about Batman's new Knight Rider attire.
"Sothing like that," Batman replied nonchalantly as he surveyed the streets, which were temporarily safe.
"After those lunatics escaped, the cri rate soared again. The higher-ups are putting on the pressure. We can handle most criminals, but when it cos to the likes of Joker and Two-Face, we need your help," Gordon said, his expression heavy with concern.
Super-criminals were not sothing the police could handle.
"Are you talking about them?" Batman remarked.
At that mont, in the dark night sky, a shadowy Bat descended from the heavens.
Startled, Gordon instinctively drew his gun.
The shadowy Bat flung a few unconscious, bound criminals onto the ground.
Among them were the notorious Two-Face and Poison Ivy.
"They're all yours," Batman said.
Gordon glanced at the shadowy Bat above and couldn't help but quip, "Are you seriously raising bats? How do you even raise one this big?"
Batman had grown accustod to this question; nearly everyone he encountered asked it.
Gordon, seeing Batman's lack of response, dragged a body bag he had placed nearby over.
"You should take a look at this."
Gordon unzipped the bag, revealing the body of what seed to be a Chatter Beast!
"This unknown creature can mimic sounds and possesses incredible strength. Many people have been devoured by it, and it seems to have multiplied. God knows how many of these monsters are lurking in Gotham."
"I wanted to make it public, but the higher-ups have sealed all information, ordering us to handle it secretly. But how is that even possible? The residents of Gotham are living alongside these monsters," Gordon said, visibly anxious. Even as commissioner, there were many things he couldn't do!
"Chatter Beast," Batman said calmly, confusing Gordon.
"I nad it. I've already fought these creatures. They're extrely tough to deal with."
As Batman inspected the Chatter Beast, he couldn't help but bla himself. Why hadn't he been more thorough in his initial investigation? Now so had escaped, likely breeding in so corner, spreading more trouble throughout Gotham.
Batman swore to do everything in his power to eliminate the threat of the Chatter Beasts.
"Tell your n to protect themselves, and don't be fooled by familiar voices. Also, use heavy weapons."
After giving this advice, Batman imdiately jumped onto the shadowy Bat's back and flew off into the night sky, leaving Gordon staring blankly at the sky, utterly baffled.
After a long night of work, Batman entered the Batcave through a mirror.
"Sir, I think you might as well stop pretending to be human."
Alfred sighed as he watched his young master erge from the mirror, clearly concerned.
Bruce Wayne was becoming less and less like a normal person, which worried Alfred greatly.
"Alfred, the world is getting stranger. I have no choice but to adapt," Bruce Wayne said helplessly after de-transforming.
At that mont, the shadowy Bat flew in, screeching incessantly.
"Alright, Master Bat, your food is over there," Alfred pointed to a nearby spot where a dozen live pigs were bound.
The shadowy Bat imdiately flew over and began devouring them.
"Didn't it eat enough outside?" Alfred asked, not wanting to watch the grueso scene.
"We found less than ten Chatter Beasts today. I don't know if we've killed them all or if they're hiding. We can't afford to be careless," Batman said as he operated the computer, watching the satellite thermal imaging map of Gotham City.
To track down the Chatter Beasts, Bruce Wayne had spared no expense, but those creatures only emitted heat when they were active. The rest of the ti, they were cold-blooded, making thermal imaging ineffective.
Bruce Wayne had to rely on victim reports to locate the monsters.
