I have to say, calling a parent’s na really works.

Even phisto, after Hawk brought up the na of Death, beca less unruly, and even his gaze beca clear.

At this mont, phisto seed as if he could really let Hawk ask for anything.

Hawk seriously suspected that even now, if he wanted phisto’s behind, the latter might just stick his rear out and comply.

phisto glanced at Hawk, whose gaze had beco sowhat playful, and his heart tightened.

The next mont.

Hawk spoke with a smile.

"Any request is fine?"

"Of course!"

phisto instinctively wanted to refuse, once again, no one—in fact, no life—could take anything from him without cost.

If it were any other being bringing up Death’s na, he might gamble that they were bluffing and mocking him.

But Hawk is different.

Because Hawk has had contact with Death before, and even drank with him, phisto sensed the presence of his superior from Hawk’s soul.

Therefore, others might be bluffing, but Hawk in front of him might really have so connection with his superior.

Thus—

Driven by a strong survival instinct, phisto suppressed his greedy nature, nodded, and forced a smile that looked worse than crying.

"Yes, any request."

"Alright then."

Upon hearing this, Hawk wasted no words and directly stated his intentions.

"I want to go to the Main Space-Ti."

"Hold on!"

Just as he was about to nod and quickly send Hawk off, phisto reacted and wide-eyed looked at Hawk, who wore a smile: "Where did you say you wanted to go?"

Hawk shrugged.

"The Main Space-Ti."

"Are you crazy?"

Listening to Hawk’s request, phisto’s eyes widened: "The Main Space-Ti is already locked down, and the Celestial God Team specifically ca to saying if anyone tries to enter the Main Space-Ti through ... wait a minute."

At this point, Old Mo realized again, looked at Hawk, and took a deep breath: "Sss, are you the one the Celestial God Team is waiting for?"

He doesn’t know what the Celestial God Team is doing in the Main Space-Ti.

Because the mont the Celestial God Team arrived, the Main Space-Ti was completely locked down, even his Hell Dinsion was specially notified by the Celestial God Team.

Of course.

Unlike facing Hawk who wielded the na of Death, the Celestial God Team promised him that if he cooperated, they would grant him the managent of a Hell Dinsion from one universe.

phisto naturally agreed gladly.

Anyway, backed by Death, as long as Death doesn’t dismiss him, the Celestial God Team, for him, is at most equivalent to a managerial position in an allied company.

So he wasn’t afraid of the Celestial God Team reneging on their promises, because in terms of reneging on promises, he’s second to none.

Listening to phisto’s subconscious words, Hawk raised an eyebrow.

"The Celestial God Team reached out to you? Do you know what they are doing in the Main Space-Ti?"

"..."

Facing Hawk’s gaze, phisto’s eyes dimd: "I don’t know what they are up to, and I don’t care, I only care if I let you go over there, the promised managent over one universe by them is gone."

Upon hearing this, Hawk’s smile grew radiant.

"Old Mo, you should know, a living person’s promise is called an ally, but you know what a dead person’s promise is called?"

"What do you call it?"

"It’s called an accomplice."

Hawk, smiling, looked at phisto: "So, Old Mo, tell , do you want to be my ally, or do you want to be an accomplice of the Celestial God Team?"

phisto took a deep breath and once again looked at Hawk with a dim gaze.

"For any life, Death treats equally, so Hell’s stance is always neutral."

"That is correct."

Hawk acknowledged with a nod, then turned his tone, looking at phisto: "But when facing conflict, if a friend maintains neutrality, it essentially ans standing with the enemy."

phisto’s lips twitched.

"We aren’t friends."

"No, we are."

Hawk said so, then waved his right hand, releasing mories of drinking with the phisto from This Cosmos in front of the current phisto.

phisto looked at these visions, his lips twitching even more.

He looked at Hawk and took another deep breath.

"This phisto isn’t , you should know."

"Is that so, what’s your na?"

"phisto."

"He is also called phisto, and he is also a Lord of Hell."

"..."

phisto fell into total silence.

He could see that Hawk was using his familiarity with his superior to forcefully buy and sell with him.

But...

After a mont of silence, phisto looked at Hawk again.

"You don’t even know what the Celestial God Team is doing in the Main Space-Ti, why should I believe you’ll win?"

"Then why should you think the Celestial God Team will win after I killed several Celestials?"

The best way to address soone’s question is not to give an answer, but to ask them in return, passing the question back to them.

While speaking, Hawk waved his right hand again, playing scenes of the Celestial God Team mbers who died at his hands to phisto.

phisto watched the projected scenes this ti, his expression changed again, and he fell into silence once more.

Clearly, he was considering.

Hawk didn’t rush him.

Indeed.

He could promise phisto the sa thing the Celestial God Team promised.

But Hawk didn’t want that.

Because he understood phisto better than the Celestial God Team.

Once again.

phisto has no bottom line. If you take half a step back, he’s willing to take a full step forward. The more you concede, the more he’ll push the limits.

Hence, Hawk has figured out the correct way to deal with phisto.

Simply put, you have to be more shaless and tougher than phisto.

I have connections with Death; how does that threaten you?

If you have the guts, contact Death now.

Just in ti.

"Old Mo, by the way, Death shouldn’t know about your deal with the Celestial God Team, right?"

"...I’ll send you there!"

Originally deep in thought, phisto shuddered, quickly coming to his senses, eyes narrowing at the faintly amused Hawk. Without further deliberation, he said in a deep voice, "I’ll send you to the Main Space-Ti, and I guarantee I won’t tell the Celestial God Team."

Hawk shook his head with a smile.

phisto frowned.

"What else do you want?"

"I don’t want anything more; I just don’t trust your promise."

Hawk said calmly, "You say you won’t tell the Celestial God Team now, but I know you too well. As soon as I leave, you’ll report to the Celestial God Team."

With soone else, this might be a possibility.

But with Old Mo, it’s a certainty.

Hawk didn’t even add ’most likely’ as a qualifier; he spoke with confidence.

phisto t Hawk’s gaze, utterly speechless.

"Then what do you want?"

"I need a guarantee."

"What kind of guarantee?"

"Your soul."

"What?"

phisto’s eyes widened.

Hawk smiled and said, "Give your soul. As long as my whereabouts remain undiscovered, I’ll return your soul to you once it’s all over."

Upon hearing this, phisto imdiately slamd the table.

"What, that’s impossible!"

"Then I’ll contact Death."

Hawk looked at the enraged phisto standing, glaring at him, "Throughout my journey, everyone I’ve wanted to kill has died. Similarly, every promise I’ve made has been kept. Can you, Old Mo, say the sa about your promises? If you dare to swear by it..."

Before he finished his sentence.

phisto pounded his chest, full of conviction.

"I dare."

"See..."

Hawk’s smile was brilliant, "Speaking lies with your eyes wide open, just like that. Besides, you could’ve waited a mont; I hadn’t finished stating my final guarantee."

phisto’s expression was as ugly as could be.

"I absolutely cannot give you my soul."

"Then there’s nothing more to be done."

Hawk wasn’t angry. Watching phisto determined to resist till the end, he shrugged, stood up, and pretended to leave: "Alright, since you refuse to give your soul, then I’ll ask Death about whether the Death who helped betray the Celestial God Team in the last cosmos is..."

Hearing this, phisto shivered, feeling like his dood fate was flashing red.

"Wait a minute."

"What?"

Hawk raised an eyebrow, looking at phisto who was stopping him.

phisto looked serious, said nothing, but after taking a deep breath, extended his right hand, revealing a brand mark in his palm.

A brand of the essence of Hell.

Or one could say, his soul.

Seeing this, Hawk opened his right hand and directly grabbed phisto’s soul, then stored it in the Space Gemstone he carried.

phisto watched Hawk with a tense face.

"You’ll return it to , right?"

"Of course."

Hawk nodded without hesitation, eting phisto’s eyes, making a promise: "I swear by the na of Phoenix that when it’s all over, whether I win or lose, I will return your soul, no regrets."

He would definitely return it.

He’s very trustworthy.

He always keeps his promises.

However, Hawk felt that this soul wasn’t going to return to phisto, and by that ti, phisto would certainly respectfully want him to keep holding onto the soul.

As for the reason?

The sa saying applies.

The winner takes all.

Very soon.

With Hawk’s promise, phisto took him to the dinsional gate leading to the Main Space-Ti.

Hawk looked at the dinsional gate now open in front of him and glanced at phisto beside him.

"If I cross over, they won’t find out, right?"

"No, this is Death’s law, not that of the Celestial God Team."

"Got it."

Hawk nodded and stepped forward directly.

In the next second.

Hawk exclaid aloud!

"Where the hell did you send ?"
