Seeing this, Hawk infused his telekinesis into a blade.

The swamp squid’s tentacles adhered to King Kong were severed one by one instantly, until the last tentacle was cut off too, with a howl and a crash, it smashed heavily onto the grass beside the shore.

After watching King Kong disappear, Hawk also retracted his gaze and then focused on a primitive village-like place in the distance behind him.
He realized he had found Peter.

Hawk glanced around inside, then looked at Felicia’s face.
eting Hawk’s gaze, Felicia touched her muddy face and laughed, explaining: "This was on purpose. Out here, these indigenous people aren’t as civilized as those outside."
Hawk nodded.
"I understand. Where’s Peter?"
"He went out hunting with the expedition team."
"Hunting?"
