About three days later.
Tony returned from Morocco.
Don't ask how Blaine knew.
Lately, whether it was on the phone, in newspapers, tabloid gossip, or even adult sites, everything was about Tony.
You couldn't really bla people for being so obsessed.
Learning that superheroes actually exist in the world—and that one of them used to be just a regular person—naturally made people excited.
And it hadn't even been that long, yet Blaine had already seen Iron Man masks being sold on the streets. Cosplay events were guaranteed to have soone dressed as Iron Man too...
You couldn't really tell how intense this was just from watching the movies in his previous life.
Now, Blaine could finally understand how fanatical people were about Iron Man.
Nightti.
A dark and windy night, perfect for murder and arson.
Blaine wore a black Hunter suit, like a shadow lurking in the darkness.
Manhattan.
There weren't many people on the streets. Blaine was stealthily perched on the rooftop of a building across from Stark Tower.
Of course, Stark Tower was a landmark building.
It stood tall above the surrounding structures. The tallest buildings nearby were only half its height, including the one Blaine was on.
He stood at the edge of the rooftop, looking at the towering Stark Tower. It really gave off an Assassin's Creed vibe.
If there were a pile of hay below and he jumped...
It'd be spot on.
But Blaine wasn't that bored—he wasn't here to cosplay.
His purpose here was twofold: first, to infiltrate Stark Tower.
Second, to test a very bold idea.
Blaine took out his Elental Bow from behind his back.
Using all his strength—enhanced by his 30-point Constitution and the power boost from the Hunter suit—he pulled the bow to its limit.
Two white lights appeared at the upper and lower tips of the Elental Bow, swirling around it like tiny spirits, eventually converging at the center.
An arrow ford—simple in appearance, yet exuding a sharp and deadly aura.
"[HawkEye], activate!"
Blaine's eyes sharpened, a flash of intensity passing through them as his vision beca incomparably clear.
In the past, Genghis Khan shot great eagles with his bow.
Today, I, Blaine, will shoot myself onto a skyscraper!
"[Absolute Hit]!"
He aid the arrow at the top of Stark Tower—Tony's office. That's where Tony usually lived and conducted his research.
He released the string.
The force, 30 tis stronger than a normal human's and further amplified, erupted instantly.
The arrow tore through the air with a terrifying might, as if it could rip the very fabric of space.
And just as the arrow was released—
Blaine leapt forward from the rooftop, covering dozens of ters in a single jump. With his left hand—the one not holding the bow—he reached upward.
And he grabbed the arrow in mid-flight!
Even with Blaine hanging on, the arrow's speed did not diminish at all. It wasn't affected by the extra weight—it didn't even feel like a burden.
Let the arrow carry
through the sky!
Even though the speed was extrely fast, with [HawkEye] active, everything felt slow and serene.
It was like flying.
Blaine was thrilled—and elated.
The thrill was natural. After all, flying was a dream for countless people. Though he was borrowing the power of an arrow, it was still far closer to real flight than a plane.
As for the elation—it ca from the success of his crazy idea.
A regular arrow couldn't possibly carry a person like this. Even with 30 tis normal strength, it wouldn't matter. A person might fly a few ters at most before the arrow's energy was depleted—there's just no way to carry soone so far.
But Blaine was different.
He had used [Absolute Hit] when he fired that arrow!
At level 2, [Absolute Hit] was already terrifying. As long as the arrow and the force applied could bear it, the arrow would stay on its exact original trajectory and speed—nothing could stop it.
Let alone level 3—at that point, even if the arrow turned to dust, as long as sothing carried the force, it would still fly to the target. At that level, it had nothing to do with strength anymore. As long as the arrow get pulverized to atoms, even if it moved slowly like a Ferris wheel, Blaine would still be pulled along. After all, he didn't weigh enough to stop the arrow.
Of course, if you wanted to kill soone with this, you'd still need power—after all, a slow, weak poke wouldn't kill anyone.
Actually, Blaine had wanted to try this ever since [Absolute Hit] reached level 2. With the Elental Bow and imnse strength, he figured he could carry his own weight and fly. It was a surprisingly simple idea that just happened to work.
