Chapter 338: Distraction

While drawing Grandmaster’s attention away, Blaine also seized the chance to shake off Hulk and Chika’s entanglent, then teleport up to take the tal key and leave.

But why open the passage now? Was this to throw another fight into the arena? Was it because they were afraid Blaine wasn’t satisfied and wanted to add more chaos? Wasn’t this just making things harder for him?

Just as Blaine was about to make a move, roaring shouts and heavy trampling sounds suddenly erupted from the passage. Groups of gladiators brandishing weapons poured out from inside.

Instead of charging into the arena, however, they rushed straight toward the auditorium, swarming it like angry bees.

Seeing this, Blaine, who had been ready to curse, couldn’t help but admit that Thor really knew how to get things done.

As the gladiators flooded into the stands, the entire auditorium instantly erupted into chaos.

Cries and screams rang out as people scrambled to flee. Faced with the murderers of Grandmaster’s arena, the residents of Sakaar were utterly helpless. They were used to watching these fighters clash violently from a safe distance, but being caught in it themselves was a completely different matter, and it terrified them.

With tens of thousands of spectators, the wailing rged into a single, deafening roar. The scene was spectacular—far louder than the unified cheers from earlier.

Seeing his precious audience descend into disorder, how could Grandmaster remain seated? He imdiately issued a flurry of orders, commanding his subordinates to investigate. Naturally, he lost all interest in watching Blaine fight and hurried out himself.

As for what Grandmaster planned to do next, Blaine didn’t care at all. His mood was excellent. Thor’s plan had worked, and now it was Blaine’s turn.

The mont Blaine realized that Grandmaster was no longer paying attention to the arena, his movents suddenly accelerated.

At a certain instant, Blaine’s expression hardened. He clenched both fists tightly and looked at the two bewildered figures in front of him.

Before his fists even swung out, two white masks of light suddenly appeared in front of Hulk and Chika. White radiance enveloped them, and they froze in place like puppets. This was Blaine’s ti-stop ability. As ti stood still, the movents of the two giants were completely locked.

Boom—

Thud—

Two thunderous explosions rang out as Hulk and Chika were blasted away by Blaine’s punches like kicked footballs.

This ti, Blaine exerted his full strength. Empowered by the Hunter suit, he sent both of them flying along the arena wall and straight out. In an instant, their bodies smashed open two enormous holes in the arena, through which the sky outside was clearly visible.

Blaine lifted his gaze and looked into the distance. Vaguely, it seed that this punch had knocked Hulk back into Banner’s control.

He didn’t know whether Banner’s body could withstand being launched like that. Hoping Banner’s physique was still close enough to Hulk’s, Blaine shook his head and stopped thinking about it.

Aside from making the already chaotic arena even noisier, the massive commotion didn’t draw much attention. The audience was fighting for their lives and had no ti to care about Blaine’s battle. What’s more, the two huge holes he’d just opened gave them an escape route, and people poured out frantically.

Amid the chaos, the corner of Blaine’s mouth curled upward. He had finally gotten what he ca for. As everyone panicked and fled, no one noticed that Blaine’s figure in the center of the arena vanished without a trace.

On top of the arena, Blaine lifted the black cloth. He had spotted this long ago with Hawkeye. Holding the tal in his hand, he felt the familiar cold touch and the subtle patterns—this was exactly what he had been looking for.

Blaine happily slipped into the Hunter’s space, then casually placed a brick he’d picked up on Sakaar beneath the black cloth. The next second, his body vanished again. It was as if he had never been there at all. Until soone lifted the cloth, no one would know that the tal key had already been taken.

Blaine did this out of caution. One could never be too careful. If Grandmaster had tampered with the tal, or if he discovered it was missing and sent powerful enforcers to hunt him down, the gains would outweigh the losses—or at the very least, waste Blaine’s precious ti.

As for Thor, Loki, and Banner, Blaine could only wish them luck. Whether they escaped safely or were recaptured by Grandmaster and forced to continue earning money as gladiators had nothing to do with him. Blaine’s objective had been achieved.

Unless Thor was willing to pay Blaine to go back and rescue them, Blaine had no intention of interfering. And judging by the Marvel storyline, Thor should be returning to Asgard with Valkyrie aboard Grandmaster’s spacecraft.

After completing everything, Blaine had already moved outside the arena. One could also say he had stepped out into the bizarre, decadent city Grandmaster had built.

Walking through the mountains of garbage piled outside, Blaine couldn’t help but sigh. Grandmaster really knew how to live—choosing a planetary dump riddled with wormholes made transportation incredibly convenient.

Building a city of indulgence on a trash planet, constructing an arena purely for personal amusent, raising countless powerful fighters, and making a fortune along the way—what an interesting life.

It was a pity that eting Blaine, a fellow Cosmic Elder, would make Grandmaster restless today.

Did Blaine simply take the tal key and run? No. The most dangerous place was often the safest. Besides, Blaine had only completed half of his purpose for coming to this planet. There was still sothing else just as important, and he wasn’t willing to leave yet.

In the past, the only thing that mattered to Blaine was money. But now, there was one more thing—to uncover his own identity, the true purpose of the tal key, and the connection between all of it.
