Chapter 331: Eternity

But even from the appearance of the aura, Blaine knew that these people—or monsters—were absolutely not easy to deal with. Even with his current strength, matching them might be difficult, and it was very possible that he would have to confront them upon arrival. He would need to take advantage of the Hunter space to secure a chance to escape.

Blaine felt the breath of mutants and higher intelligence in the universe within that aura. He didn’t know if it was an illusion, but he even sensed the presence of the Planet Devourer and Eternity.

All of a sudden, a chill ran down Blaine’s spine. Who the hell was this Grandmaster?

As everyone knows, the Planet Devourer and Eternity are among the five creator gods of the universe. Therefore, even a trace of their aura could not be underestimated. In any case, with Blaine’s current strength, facing a being of this level could only be described as barely even, and if he was even slightly careless, he would die at his opponent’s hands.

"It seems I am still short-sighted."

"The waters of the Marvel universe are indeed unfathomable."

At that mont, Blaine once again felt an urgent desire to improve his strength as soon as possible. Originally, he had thought that with his own abilities, he would be able to roam the universe freely. Even if he couldn’t sweep through everything, coming and going at will should not have been a problem—but he had barely stepped into space from Earth.

First, there was the mysterious spaceship on the Moon. Then ca the planet Morag. And now Sakaar had left Blaine with a lingering sense of unease.

In fact, what Blaine didn’t know was that Grandmaster had another identity besides being the ruler of Sakaar.

The Collector that Blaine had t before was actually Grandmaster’s younger brother. The two were brothers.

The Collector’s real na was Taneleer Tivan, while his elder brother Grandmaster’s true na was En Dwi Gast. Both were high-level intelligent beings who had survived the last Big Bang of the universe. They were mbers of the Cosmic Elders.

They had mastered the knowledge of countless civilization and possessed almost infinite lifespans. They were immune to aging and all diseases, and physical attacks could not harm them in the slightest. They also possessed powerful regenerative abilities.

Grandmaster was also capable of converting his cosmic energy into various super abilities such as levitation, psychic powers, matter reorganization, and space-ti leaps. It was worth ntioning that even in the Marvel universe unknown to Blaine, Thanos had once taken away the Mind Stone that belonged to Grandmaster.

Perhaps the Titan star before Blaine had been brought by Grandmaster from Thanos in order to find a suitable location.

Because eternal life was too boring, the two brothers developed different hobbies. For example, the Collector cultivated a passion for collecting to pass the ti. This little old man not only collected rare treasures from across the universe, but also superheroes and supervillains.

As the Collector’s elder brother, Grandmaster shared a similar origin. The immortal Grandmaster also felt bored, so he began to participate in and design various competitive ga projects. He was familiar with thousands of forms of competitive gas throughout the universe. His profound knowledge and ga theory were far beyond ordinary comprehension.

Thus, what Blaine knew about the Marvel universe was rely the tip of the iceberg. Moreover, he had underestimated Grandmaster from the very beginning.

When Blaine sensed the aura of Eternity, he suddenly seed to realize sothing, as if a thought had surfaced in his mind.

Although Blaine had never seen what Eternity looked like, nor did he know what form Eternity took or where his body existed, this did not affect Blaine’s perception of him.

Blaine clearly rembered that when he was with the Collector, the Collector had once introduced Eternity to him, Quill, Rocket, and Gamora.

At this mont, relying on his outstanding ntal power, Blaine’s mind replayed the magical animation, like the Collector’s slideshow. And within this "slideshow," the six Infinity Stones appeared together in the sa fra for the first ti.

It was a void ford from the remaining skulls of mbers of the Celestial Group. The entire image was extrely dark, with occasional flashes of red light. Calling it a true purgatory was no exaggeration, because the whole space was filled with death, dullness, and a suffocating atmosphere.

Blaine still rembered the Collector explaining to them the Celestial Group.

These faces marked with six points of light, like the six dots on mahjong tiles, were eternally created by one of the creator gods.

Their primary duty was to promote the developnt of the universe. Thus, they shattered the original universe into a multiverse and conducted various experints to create different races throughout the cosmos.

Blaine also rembered that the early Avengers on Earth had once fought against the Celestial Group.

"Black Panther in the early Avengers seed pretty cool."

"Well, when I get back to Earth, I’ll go to Wakanda and get so vibranium."

While thinking about the Celestial Group, for so reason, Blaine’s thoughts drifted off course...

Reimagining the scenes from the slideshow, there was one image that had left a deep impression on Blaine. A colossal god holding a scepter embedded with the Power Stone—this figure seed to be a mber of the Celestial Group nad Eson the Searcher, who was mainly responsible for exploring newborn planets.

"Damn, it seems I was fooled by the Collector’s harmless appearance."

"This old man is not simple."

"I even ca into contact with mbers of the Celestial Group."

"Fuck, good thing I didn’t show him too many things."

Thinking of this, Blaine suddenly felt as though he had been cheated. Unfortunately, there was no dicine for regret in this world.

After all, Eson the Searcher was a mber of the Celestial Group. Was this sothing ordinary people could ever co into contact with? Even living ten thousand years wouldn’t make that possible. From this alone, one could glimpse the depth of the Collector’s background.

In Passing mory, within the Marvel storyline, Odin had handed the Reality Stone to the Collector for safekeeping. This also indirectly explained the importance of the Collector.

Now Blaine understood why he was called the Collector, and why he loved to gather rare treasures.

Earlier analysis suggested that his habit of collecting was not simple. He might have foreseen that Thanos would bring about a massive catastrophe in the future, so he frantically gathered treasures, leaving behind kindling for the civilization of the universe.

"The Celestial Group was created from Eternity."

"And this Sakaar also carries the aura of Eternity."

"Doesn’t that an that the being imprisoned here is very likely a mber of the Celestial Group?!"

After a brief analysis, a terrifying conclusion suddenly ford in Blaine’s mind.

"Hmm?"

"Why do I suddenly feel that this Collector is so similar to Grandmaster?"

"What is the relationship between these two people?"

"Both rulers of planets."

"Equally unfathomable."

"Both connected to the eternal realm of the five creator gods."

"Could it be that these two old ghosts are Eternal beings?"

After careful consideration, Blaine made a bold guess—and felt fortunate that he had not been overly presumptuous or arrogant before.
