It might also have been because his body was too large and the pain he endured was too intense. Scott pressed the button in his hand and returned to his normal size.

"Oh, uh…"

"Ow."

"What a vicious uppercut. You guys are really ruthless."

"Uh, does anyone have so orange slices? I need vitamins."

However, no one paid him any attention.

Tony looked at little Spider-Man lying on the ground because of him and felt a bit guilty, so he quickly flew down to check on him. (As expected of father and son.)

"Son, are you okay?"

Tony knelt down kindly and asked about little Spider-Man's condition.

Unfortunately, little Spider-Man's spider-sense seed to think soone was sneaking up on him, and he suddenly threw a punch at Tony.

Luckily, Tony had sharp eyes and fast hands, catching little Spider-Man's wrist in ti.

"Hey, hey, hey—, hello,"

"It's ! It's !"

"Go away, go away…"

Little Spider-Man had hit the ground hard, and his mind was a ss. His vision was blurry, and he could only recognize people by instinct.

"Want to guess who I am?"

"Oh… oh… oh…"

"Thank goodness, Mr. Stark."

"This is so exciting, so exciting."

"But it's kind of scary, hahaha…"

Little Spider-Man's speech was a bit incoherent. That was understandable—after falling from dozens of ters in the air, most people would probably have been turned into a sar of flesh.

"Yeah, it's horrible,"

"But we got it done, didn't we?"

"Ah, what?"

"You did great. You did a really great job today."

"What? Uh, yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine."

It seed little Spider-Man still hadn't recovered from being thrown around, and whatever Tony said didn't quite register.

"Well, all right. Lie down for now."

"What? Oh no, I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm okay."

"Well, you're going ho, or I'll tell your aunt."

"Your mission is accomplished."

Tony was like an old father, comforting little Spider-Man again and again with patience and sincerity. But there were still other things to deal with, so after finishing, Tony flew off directly.

"Oh, wait, wait."

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Stark."

"My mission isn't done yet, uh…"

"My mission… I haven't…"

"Oh, well, mission accomplished."

"Oh my God, thank God. It's finally over."

After trying several tis to stand up and failing, little Spider-Man finally gave up. He let out a long breath, stretched his arms and legs, and lay flat on the ground.

"Hey, you can't just stand around doing nothing."

Tony flew over to the rubble, looking helplessly at Captain Arica, who was blocked by the debris.

"You're so stupid. You dragged Black Panther into this too."

"You pulled Wanda out of a place she didn't want to leave."

"A safe place I was working on…"

"Hey, I'm trying to stop the Avengers from splitting apart…"

Tony opened his mask and spoke earnestly to Captain Arica. Even now, Tony still wanted to persuade him with words.

After all, they were comrades who had fought side by side. They couldn't just turn on each other and wish for the other's blood. So opening dialogue was unavoidable.

It was just that Blaine looked rather awkward listening to the speech.

"Damn, there's so much talking in a fight."

"Just go up and beat him. Then it's over."

"If you're a man, knock him down until he submits."

Blaine switched into comntary mode again. Since he couldn't watch the live broadcast at ho like Gali, he had to settle for live comntary on-site.

"You split us when you signed—"

Captain Arica stood on higher ground, replying to Tony in a cold, condescending tone. Clearly, Tony's approach wasn't working.

"OK, OK, OK, fine,"

"Hand over Bucky and co with us."

"Do it now, or—"

"A Joint Special Operations Command detachnt—"

"Will co to arrest you, and they won't show rcy."

If the soft approach didn't work, Tony could only go hard.

Seeing forr partners who had once argued and fought together now standing on opposite sides, Captain Arica probably felt deeply conflicted.

"Please."

Tony pleaded one last ti, holding onto his remaining dignity.

Just as the tension between them reached a breaking point, a phone suddenly rang.

"Huh? Fury? Why is this guy calling now?"

I was watching the fight like a movie, fully imrsed, and thought soone was being obnoxious by calling during such a tense mont. Then I realized it was my phone ringing.

"Hey."

"Mr. Hunter."

"Okay."

"I won't beat around the bush. I'll say it straight."

"S.H.I.E.L.D. needs you right now. I don't know if Mr. Hunter is free. I want to hire you."

"Who am I killing?"

"It's not about killing anyone. It's about saving people."

"I'm not good at saving people."

"The price is negotiable. Fifty billion. This is an unauthorized diversion of S.H.I.E.L.D. funds on my part. That's all I can manage."

"Tell

what's going on."

This Fury was cunning, but in ergencies, he usually didn't lie.

For Blaine, even a fly was at, no matter how small. Since he was idle anyway, he might as well take a job instead of just watching.

So people might say this was fifty billion dollars—not five hundred, not five million, not even one hundred million. Fifty billion, and you call it fly at? How big is that fly?

But to Blaine, fifty billion really was just a fly. It took one hundred billion to increase his physique by ten points. So what could fifty billion do? If he weren't bored, who would bother with this?

"Save the Avengers."

"Huh? These guys need

now?"

"Mr. Hunter must have heard about the Sokovia Accords that have been causing such a stir."

"I know a bit."

"You should also know about Tony and Steve."

"Get to the point."

"Although Tony has orders from above,"

"Those two have terrible tempers and are extrely stubborn. I'm afraid they're going to fight."

"So your task is to bring everyone back safely. The S.H.I.E.L.D. address has been sent to your email."

"Fine, I'll take it. I didn't expect you to be in a bind like this, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Hey, we're all on the sa side, so we can't—"

Beep, beep, beep…

Before Fury could complain further, Blaine hung up the phone. It was all nonsense anyway.

Blaine wasn't about to tell him that he'd been watching the whole fight unfold. And Fury had guessed right—there wasn't just going to be a fight.

The fight was about to truly begin.
