These three n and one woman made a total of four.

Four pistols—and the three n also carried submachine guns.

All four wore "masks."

The n wore wolf masks, while the woman wore a fox mask.

The masks looked disturbingly realistic.

And for good reason.

After Blaine scanned them with telepathy, he discovered sothing strange.

Their faces weren't masks at all. They were their real bodies.

Obviously, they were orcs—similar to the werewolves of Beacon Hill.

This was Blaine's first ti seeing orcs. Usually, such races were rare—maybe only two or three in an entire city. To see four at once was bizarre.

And S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't intervening?

Three werewolves and a fox girl?

Weren't werewolves and foxes supposed to hate each other? How could they be working together?

Blaine smirked.

He didn't care. Let them rob a bank. As long as they didn't ss with him, he'd just withdraw money elsewhere.

While he was thinking, the four orcs scread orders, demanding that the staff hand over cash.

At this ti, most of New York's key security forces—including police—had been redirected to Manhattan for reconstruction after the Battle of New York.

After all, Manhattan was the financial core of the city, ho to countless corporations worth billions. Most importantly, Stark Industries was there.

Because of this, the police presence in other boroughs was far thinner than usual.

Otherwise, even orcs wouldn't dare to rob a bank in Queens so openly. It would've been suicide.

Blaine also sensed that these four had no intention of killing anyone.

Not because they were rciful—if they were kind-hearted, they wouldn't be robbing a bank. They looked like common thugs.

But if soone died, everything would change.

A robbery ant limited police response. They could escape using their "realistic masks."

But a murder? That would trigger a citywide manhunt.

And in the modern world, with caras everywhere, even orcs wouldn't last long.

Clearly, they weren't complete idiots.

Blaine glanced around.

The orcs forced the bank staff to fetch the money, while they searched the custors.

"Quick! Take it out!"

"If you want to live, hand it over!"

"Money for safety!"

Under the threat of pistols, submachine guns, and their terrifying "faces," so custors panicked and threw out all their valuables.

The orcs stuffed everything into a sack. When they prepared to search the remaining holdouts, the bank staff returned with the cash.

"Take it and go!"

One of the werewolves, with a scar across half his face, barked the order.

"But so people still haven't handed over their—"

"Forget it! We can't waste another second. Take the money and run!"

"Got it!"

Their teamwork was sharp. After a brief exchange, they grabbed the sack and rushed out through the staff passage, following their pre-planned escape route.

The mont they left, the custors finally breathed a sigh of relief.

At that sa mont, the police arrived.

Don't bla them—it was already fast to get there in just a few minutes. All they could do now was chase.

Blaine rose and followed.

Mostly out of curiosity. He wanted to see more about these orcs.

Marvel's world mixing with orcs? Strange indeed.

He slipped quietly through the staff passage.

And that was when he noticed a blind man.

Wearing small round sunglasses, carrying a cane, dressed in a suit with leather shoes and a briefcase, he moved at incredible speed for soone sightless.

Blaine activated [HawkEye].

Imdiately, he realized—the blind man was heading directly toward the orcs' escape route.

"Tsk tsk… interesting," Blaine muttered.

He recognized him at once.

A blind man who was also a lawyer.

Matthew Murdock.

Not everyone knew the na.

But in Hell's Kitchen, his other na was well known.

"Daredevil."

Since soone was already tailing the orcs, Blaine didn't care.

He could tell the orcs only had slightly enhanced physical strength compared to humans. For Daredevil, taking them down would be easy.

As long as he wasn't thrown off by their monstrous appearances.

But considering The Hand wielded dragon bones and resurrection magic, even orcs weren't that hard to believe in this world.

For Blaine, this was just a small episode.

The real excitent was still ahead.

For him, the thrill was completing tasks and cashing in rewards.

He hadn't taken new jobs lately—not because there weren't any, but because he was waiting for another payout to arrive.

Since the Battle of New York, many major organizations had been in turmoil, paralyzed by fear.

After all, alien fleets had appeared in Manhattan without warning, leveling most of the borough.

Who had the ti to carry out normal operations after that?

The Hand, with their brainwashed death-worshipping ninjas, might still co for him eventually. But for now, they were licking their wounds.

It would take ti before they recovered enough to act.
