Suddenly, Blackheart's movents froze.
Carter's whip had coiled around the demon's thick neck like a living serpent, locking him in place.
At the sa ti, Johnny's iron chain wrapped tightly around his waist, like a giant steel python.
Both n gritted their teeth, using every ounce of their strength to pull and restrain him.
It was just enough.
Just enough ti for Wes to cast his spells.
"Diffindo Maxima!"
"Stupefy!"
"Incendio!"
Spell after spell erupted from Wes's wand like a barrage of cannon fire. He chanted one incantation after another without pause.
Even dark spells—banned and considered forbidden—were hurled at Blackheart without hesitation.
Individually, the spells might not have been powerful, but together, they packed a humiliating punch.
"@#@¥@¥@¥"
A stream of incomprehensible, blasphemous language spewed from Blackheart's mouth—raw, guttural, infernal speech.
But Wes was prepared.
He remained unaffected by the demon's cursed words.
Coulson, however, who had been watching from a distance, wasn't so lucky.
His head suddenly spun with vertigo. The scene before his eyes beca a blurry swirl, and his body began to tremble uncontrollably. Without realizing it, he started to echo the sa demonic phrases Blackheart had uttered.
"Snap out of it, Coulson!"
"Coulson!!"
No matter how loudly Nick Fury scread through the earpiece, Coulson's body just kept shaking. A strange, ominous black haze began clouding the whites of his eyes.
The old priest, noticing this, quickly rushed over. He grasped Coulson's wrist and pressed a cross firmly against his forehead while chanting a mysterious scripture.
As the holy words filled the air, Coulson's trembling slowly subsided.
Without delay, the priest uncapped a small flask of holy water and pried open Coulson's mouth, pouring it in.
"Gulp—gulp—"
Coulson began regaining clarity, though pain tore through his stomach like a swarm of fire ants.
"Bleghhh!!"
He vomited violently, black, reeking bile pouring out of his mouth. The stench was thick and repulsive.
"Hah… huh… gah…"
"What just happened to …?" Coulson gasped, wiping his mouth, still panting.
"You were corrupted," the old priest said gravely.
"But I wasn't even hurt…" Coulson examined his body in confusion, finding no visible wounds.
"Demonic speech doesn't harm the body," the priest explained patiently, "it poisons the soul. It tempts the human mind toward damnation."
"Then why weren't you affected, Father?" Coulson asked.
The old priest solemnly made the sign of the cross over his chest with three fingers—thumb, index, and middle—and declared, "Because the Almighty protects ."
His words sent a chill through Coulson, but there was no ti to dwell.
"Sir, we have a problem," Coulson reported into his earpiece.
"Pull back," Nick Fury ordered imdiately. "Staying any longer is too dangerous."
"Yes, sir."
Coulson opened his briefcase, and several small drones silently lifted into the air, beginning to record everything.
Then, he turned to the priest and offered to evacuate together.
But the old man firmly shook his head.
"I must stay. I need to witness the end of the contract with my own eyes. That is my calling."
At that mont, the battle between Wes and the demon grew even more intense.
Coulson threw one final line over his shoulder: "Good luck!"
Then sped away in the car, getting as far from the battle as possible.
Wes's spells could only serve to restrain the demon during this intense battle—even the most powerful dark magic failed to inflict fatal damage on Blackheart.
He cursed under his breath, regretting that he hadn't mastered the Patronus Charm.
"Damn it!" Carter was sent crashing to the ground, man and horse, by Blackheart's overwhelming strength.
He tried to get back up but was stomped brutally in the chest by Blackheart's foot, pinning him down and leaving him unable to move.
Johnny wrapped his chain tightly around his fist and launched a fierce punch—only for Blackheart to catch it effortlessly with one hand.
Then, with a twist, a sickening crack echoed as Johnny's wrist was snapped in two.
Blackheart kicked Carter ten ters away, then grabbed Johnny's head and slamd it into the ground.
Straightening his collar like a pompous aristocrat, Blackheart sauntered toward Wes with fake elegance.
Wes didn't hesitate.
He activated the magic circle.
Blazing flas erupted around it, but Blackheart walked through them as if he were taking a casual stroll in the park. The fire did absolutely nothing to him.
"Hellfire burns much hotter than your pathetic sparks."
He tilted his head, sneering, "Wizard, are you brain-dead? Using fire… against a demon?"
Wes ignored him completely, continuing his incantations.
Being ignored seed to truly bruise Blackheart's ego. "ANSWER , WIZARD!!" he bellowed.
Suddenly, thunder rumbled through the sky. Lightning flashed.
Blackheart looked down at his hands, confused. "Wait... I don't have dominion over lightning..."
The thunder intensified. Electric serpents danced wildly through the churning clouds above.
"Thunderclap Roar!!" Wes shouted, raising his wand and bringing it down in a swift slash.
"CRACK!!"
A blinding bolt of lightning struck Wuxinmo dead-on.
"ARGHHH!!" he howled in pain.
More lightning followed, one strike after another. He fought to withstand them, but the unrelenting electrical barrage overwheld even his resilience.
As the storm faded and the clouds scattered, the moon reappeared—calm and silver.
Moonlight spread like a veil across the land.
Blackheart stood there, scorched and smoking, in utter disarray.
"Wizard!! I'll rip your soul out and torture it for ten thousand years!!" he roared.
Wes, out of breath and drained of magic, still mocked him without fear:
"You? A soul-roasting crustacean like you?"
"RAAARGH!!" Blackheart let out a furious roar.
He took a step forward—but stumbled, nearly falling.
Clearly, he was badly injured.
Johnny and Carter stepped back in front of him.
"Wowww~" Carter mocked exaggeratedly, "Look who's back—hell's very own grilled shrimp."
"Ka–ka–ka–crack~" Johnny cackled strangely.
"You DARE mock —mock the great Prince of Hell?!"
Blackheart threw his arms wide, mouth gaping.
Dozens of souls suddenly burst from the ground, swirling around him.
"Hahaha! You didn't expect this, did you? Undead are buried here! Once I absorb them, I'll be—"
"STOP HIM!!" Wes yelled.
"Too late!!" Blackheart laughed triumphantly—and swallowed the souls in one gulp.
But before he could absorb their power, those very souls went berserk inside his body.
"What?! What's happening?! These souls... sothing's wrong!!"
He finally realized sothing was off—but it was far too late.
Chains whipped around Blackheart, binding him tightly.
Johnny's eyes burned as he shouted, "Face judgnt!!"
The undead ignited.
Dozens of vengeful spirits rampaged through Blackheart's body, setting every inch of him ablaze with divine retribution.
"WHY?! I have no soul—how can I be judged?!" Blackheart scread in agony, his voice saturated with despair.
"Idiot," Wes sneered, "Just because you don't have a soul doesn't an you're immune to the flas of judgnt."
"You dumbass—don't you even know that much?"
"C–cuuuuuuuursed wiiiiiizard!!"
Blackheart lunged toward Wes, reaching out with both hands.
But just as his fingers were about to touch him...
He disintegrated into ashes.
A gentle breeze blew through—scattering the last of his remains.
