Elias, his [Pri Essence Shard Reserve at 0.5/???], focused on consolidation and further infiltration. The data and salvaged technology from the Destroyer automaton and the residual Bifrost energies were a goldmine for O'Malley's Blackwood Skunkworks. Elias, through his now nineteen True Legionnaires (he had used so of his accumulated "Blackwood Conglorated" profits, which the System could now slowly convert into a trickle of base Energy, to fund the prolonged creation of one more specialist Legionnaire, "Oracle," possessing advanced precognitive combat analysis and sensory input processing, bringing his total Legionnaire count, including Nox and Vex, to a formidable twenty-one), began to covertly intervene in these mutant conflicts. His Legionnaires, operating under extre stealth and often disguised as "rogue governnt anti-mutant units" or even "third-party mutant rcenaries," would enter active battle zones, their primary objective not to take sides, but to "secure volatile assets" (i.e., capture powerful mutants, from either faction, who were on the verge of death or defeat) and harvest their [Pri Essence]. O'Malley, aboard the Nightfall III (which was now permanently crewed by Legionnaire "Forge" as its chief engineer and several Thorne's Guard deep-space specialists), was conducting a long-range sensor sweep of the asteroid belt beyond Mars, a region identified by Finch's analysis of Kree/Skrull star charts and the "Frozen Throne" data as a potential location for "anomalous dinsional activity" or hidden alien outposts.
He detected sothing. Thanos. The Mad Titan. The Other. Nas out of the deepest, darkest recesses of the cosmic lore Namor and the Skrulls had provided, nas whispered in conjunction with galactic-scale genocide and the hunt for the Infinity Stones. This wasn't just another alien empire; this was a harbinger of cosmic nihilism. The Kree were conquerors; Thanos was an End.
Elias Thorne felt a profound, icy dread that had nothing to do with System calculations. He had successfully navigated the treacherous currents of Hydra, the Kree, the Skrulls, mutants, and human superpowers. But Thanos... Thanos was on another level entirely, a being whose ambitions weren't just galactic, but existential.

He would need to reach into the void itself, find the God of Mischief, and perhaps, offer him a bargain even he couldn't refuse: a chance for revenge, a chance for power, and a chance to unleash his chaos upon a common, far greater foe. The whispers of the Chitauri had just turned Elias's Cold War into a prelude for a war of gods and titans, for the fate of not just Earth, but perhaps the universe itself. His reign of shadows was about to confront the coming of a true, cosmic, Purple Apocalypse.
