"Peter, that Venom, did The Screen really give it to you?" Uncle Ben asked.
"Yes, I'm looking at it now." Peter looked at Venom crawling back and forth in front of him. He brought Venom to school and examined it with Gwen. At the sa ti, he asked Dr. Connors to help study whether it was true as The Screen said.
Gwen was a little scared at first, but Venom seed to like Gwen and kept moving closer to her. Unless Peter stopped him, he would sneak up on Gwen whenever he got the chance.
Gwen touched it briefly and found that Venom seed very docile and was delighted by the touch of her fingers, so she gradually let go of her fear.
After Peter finished talking to Uncle Ben on the phone, he looked at Gwen.

["Can you test it now?" Peter pressed, leaning forward.]
[As Connors spoke, Venom slipped off the microscope and lunged toward Peter. Quick to react, Peter trapped it under a glass beaker. The sli flailed violently, trying to escape.]
["It seems to like you," Connors observed, his tone half-joking but laced with unease.]
["Why does it act like this?" Peter asked.]
["It's a parasite," Connors explained, his expression turning serious. "It requires a host to survive. And once it attaches to a host, it's extrely difficult to remove. Be very careful, Peter. Don't let it bond with you."]
"Does Venom maintain its own consciousness when separated from the host?" Tony Stark mused as he watched The Screen.
"It's clearly just a small part of the whole, yet it can independently seek a host," Rhodes added, his expression grave.
Nick Fury also convened biologists from SHIELD to begin speculating on the characteristics of this thing.
[Peter returned ho and heard a police report on the radio as soon as he entered the door, which also ntioned that another sandstorm had occurred nearby.]
[Peter imdiately realized that it was Marko, and he imdiately walked to the closet and reached out to take the Spider suit.]
