[The 3rd generation Spider-Man took off his glasses and handed them over to Beck, "Co on, try them on!"]
[Quentin Beck was laughing triumphantly in his heart, but he still maintained his act of reluctance, "NO! Forget it! I couldn't!"]
["Just put them on for a second!"]
[He waved his hands repeatedly in feigned protest, "I really don't want to wear them!"]
["Just try them on and see how they look!"]
[At Spider-Man's increasingly insistent request, Quentin Beck finally took the glasses and slowly put them on.]
["So what do you think?"]
[Spider-Man studied Beck's appearance carefully for a long mont, and suddenly recalled the heartfelt words Tony had left for him: "To the next Tony Stark! I trust you!"]
[A bold and seemingly logical idea began forming in his mind.]
["To the next Tony Stark! I trust you!" His voice gradually beca more confident and louder.]
[Quentin Beck feigned confusion perfectly: "What are you talking about?"]
["Mr. Stark left that exact ssage in the glasses case! 'To the next Tony Stark! I trust you!'"]
["I still don't understand what you're getting at. Are you sohow drunk from drinking lemonade?"]
["He knows about every mistake I've ever made in my life! Okay? He must have known deep down that I'm not ready for such an enormous responsibility!"]
[Quentin Beck shook his head with apparent concern, "Then why would he give E.D.I.T.H. to you in the first place?"]
["Maybe he never intended for to actually use E.D.I.T.H. myself! He wanted to pass it on to the right person when the ti ca! That makes perfect sense! He knew I would eventually make the right choice about who deserves it!"]
[Spider-Man felt more and more convinced of his reasoning as he spoke, "He couldn't entrust it directly to Fury! Because Fury would just use E.D.I.T.H. as another tool and never truly understand its potential!"]
["Yeah! That's entirely possible!"]
["Exactly! The world desperately needs the next Iron Man! And that person definitely isn't ! I'm just a 16-year-old kid from Queens who's in way over his head! It has to be a mature adult! Soone with extensive experience and proven reliability! Soone like Tony Stark himself! Soone like you!"]
[Quentin Beck was absolutely delighted when he heard this declaration, but he knew he absolutely must not show his true feelings, so he decisively removed E.D.I.T.H. and handed the glasses back, "NO! Peter! Co on! There's no way I can accept this!"]
[But Spider-Man had already completely made up his mind to transfer this overwhelming responsibility, and he put the glasses back on with renewed determination.]
["E.D.I.T.H.!"]
[After recognizing Spider-Man's voice pattern, E.D.I.T.H. imdiately activated, "Hello, Peter!"]
["Hi! Yeah... I want to transfer all of your administrative rights to Quentin Beck!"]
["Peter! What exactly are you doing?"]
[Spider-Man glanced at Beck with confidence and said, "I'm doing the right thing for everyone!"]
["Any transfer of administrative privileges requires user confirmation!"]
[Quentin Beck appeared genuinely angry and concerned, "Stark specifically gave you those glasses for a reason!"]
[But Spider-Man, who had been feeling completely overwheld by the responsibility, imdiately pushed back: "Stark gave the choice to decide what to do with them! This is my choice! Okay?"]
["I have made my decision! You are a true warrior! A natural leader! You single-handedly stopped the Elentals! You saved my life! You saved the entire world! Okay?"]
["Mr. Stark would want you to accept this responsibility!"]
[Quentin Beck looked at Spider-Man with what appeared to be deep contemplation and internal conflict.]
[E.D.I.T.H. prompted urgently: "Awaiting confirmation from primary user!"]
["Confird!"]
["Please physically transfer the glasses to Mr. Beck!"]
[Spider-Man handed the glasses over to Quentin Beck with a sense of relief, "Welco to the Avengers!"]
[Quentin Beck pursed his lips with apparent emotion, took the glasses, and slowly put them on.]
[Looking at Beck wearing the high-tech glasses, Spider-Man nodded approvingly and said, "You look very distinguished in them!"]
[The two n shook hands solemnly, "Thank you, Peter! I'm truly honored!"]
["Yeah! I think Mr. Stark would really approve of you!"]
[Spider-Man picked up his bag and stood up to leave the tavern.]
["Where are you going now?"]
["I'm going to find MJ and finally tell her how I feel!"]
["Good luck, kid! I'd estimate your success rate at about 50-50! I can't help it, you're just so awkward with romance!"]
[Spider-Man smiled and didn't mind Quentin Beck's playful teasing, "Yeah! See you later, man!"]
["See you later, Peter!"]
Tony frowned deeply as he watched this scene unfold, knowing his own psychology far too well.
"NO! That's not what I ant at all! E.D.I.T.H. was specifically ant for him to use!"
"Yeah! But Peter obviously misinterpreted your intentions completely!" Banner nodded with concern.
Captain Arica had a different perspective on the situation, "It's not that he misunderstood the ssage! He's subconsciously trying to escape from the responsibility! I could tell from the way he handled those press conference questions earlier, but I never expected him to do sothing this drastic!"
Rhodes also felt that this behavior was completely inappropriate. "Such an incredibly valuable and dangerous system was just handed over to a relative stranger! Even though Beck had just fought alongside him, this decision was far too reckless!"
[After Spider-Man left the tavern, the decorations and atmosphere around the bar suddenly began glowing with an eerie blue light, then started dissipating like digital projections, along with most of the other guests in the establishnt.]
[Soon the tavern revealed its true, much more industrial appearance, with several advanced drones materializing next to Quentin Beck, leaving only a handful of real people in what was clearly a high-tech facility.]
[Quentin Beck spread his hands wide and smiled with malicious satisfaction: "See how easy that was! The kid practically begged to take it!"]
["YES!!!" The remaining team mbers cheered with villainous excitent.]
[Quentin Beck laughed with genuine amusent, "Alright! Who's going to help get out of this ridiculous costu?"]
[Spider-Man had no idea what had just transpired in the fake pub. He was still completely imrsed in his beautiful fantasy of finally going to the Eiffel Tower with MJ and confessing his feelings.]
[Quentin Beck handed the precious glasses to his technical team, "Okay! We've successfully gained access to E.D.I.T.H.! Connect her systems to our network imdiately!"]
[Everyone continued celebrating their victory: "Cheers! Cheers! Cheers!"]
["NO! This is definitely a significant achievent! But we still have enormous amounts of work ahead of us!" Quentin Beck spread his hands and tried to calm down the celebration.]
[But their excitent and vindication could not be contained in such a short ti, "Cheers! Cheers! Cheers!"]
[Quentin Beck had no choice but to jump onto the makeshift stage, "Yeah! Okay! Let's have a proper toast!!! Give that bottle, Doug!"]
[He held the bottle high and raised both hands dramatically, "To the man who brought our team together, our brilliant forr boss! Tony Stark!"]
["That arrogant tyrant! He was surrounded by cutting-edge technology and unlimited resources! But he was completely unable to recognize true innovation when he saw it!!!"]
["For example, the revolutionary holographic projection system that I designed! This groundbreaking technological breakthrough had absolutely huge comrcial and military applications! But Tony turned it into nothing more than a glorified therapy machine! He renad my life's work..."]
[The scene suddenly jumped back to footage of the process Tony had demonstrated at his famous press conference, "Binarily Augnted Retro-Framing! Abbreviated as 'B.A.R.F.'! This insignificant therapeutic experint cost 6 million dollars!"]
["B.A.R.F.! He renad my entire life's work 'BARF'! And then he fired ! Called ntally unstable! So here's to Tony Stark!!!"]
[Everyone in the secret facility shouted with bitter sarcasm: "To Tony Stark!!!"]
