2nd Gen Spiderman thought of Dr. Connors in his lizard form, who was of similar color to the Hulk. Recalling his difficult battle against Connors, he couldn't help but feel a little schadenfreude toward Tony.
After all, while Hulk's strength might exceed Connors', he lacked intelligence and behaved like a child. Normally, Natasha could simply comfort him and make him return to normal.
And considering that Tony specifically developed Veronica to deal with Hulk, with Dr. Banner himself assisting in the research and developnt, the potential destruction Hulk could cause was likely much greater than what they were witnessing now.
"It looks like an uncontrollable beast, yet it possesses incredibly powerful fighting capabilities!" Gwen observed as Hulk tore the roof off a police car with a single blow, realizing that ordinary people had no chance against such a monster.
"Yeah! No wonder even Dr. Banner himself had to find a way to deal with Hulk! It seems he has absolutely no control over Hulk's body and has been fighting against that side of himself the entire ti!"
2nd Gen Spiderman tapped his chin thoughtfully and began to consider how he would handle a monster like Hulk if one appeared in his world.
Even as Spider-Man, he and Gwen weren't physically strong types. To deal with such an opponent, they could only rely on agility and wit. After all, not everyone had 1st Gen Spider-Man raw strength.
If even 1st Gen Spider-Man and 2nd Gen Spiderman from the parallel universes were concerned, ordinary citizens in Tony's universe were downright terrified.
They began to fear waking up one day to find their hos and vehicles destroyed!
This kind of devastation had happened several tis before. The battle between Hulk and Abomination had obliterated the life's work of countless people.
The issue had resurfaced, but Nick Fury and the Avengers had no ti to address these concerns. One faction was still struggling to deal with traitors within S.H.I.E.L.D., even considering the idea of dismantling and rebuilding the organization.
anwhile, a fierce battle was still raging with Strucker's HYDRA team, though the situation was decidedly one-sided. Strucker, without access to advanced weapons, was no match for Tony and the others.
Soon they were defeated by Thor and the team's coordinated attack. The HYDRA mbers, their morale already shaken by Strucker's duplicity, surrendered one after another.
Stark didn't even attempt to escape, instead remaining at the base waiting for Tony and the others to arrive.
It wasn't that he didn't want to escape—the main reason was that he was being held at gunpoint by a dozen weapons.
His own n had mutinied, aiming their guns at him, planning to use him as a bargaining chip to have another "sincere" conversation with Tony!
[Veronica rapidly approached Tony's position with powerful propulsion, ejecting nurous components in mid-air while simultaneously deploying a containnt device that rushed toward the Hulk's location.]
[The remaining parts began attaching themselves to Tony's Mark armor, forming the massive Hulkbuster suit.]
[Citizens on the street fled in panic as police fired wildly at the Hulk with assault rifles. The bullets didn't harm him at all, only serving to further enrage him.]
[Hulk roared and leaped toward the police. The two officers imdiately retreated behind their vehicle, but Hulk kicked the police car away with trendous force.]
[Both policen were knocked to the ground, tumbling several tis before coming to a stop. Still unsatisfied, Hulk moved to attack them again.]
[The officers had no choice but to continue retreating. At this critical mont, Veronica's first containnt device descended from the sky, blocking Hulk's path.]
[Additional devices then fell into place, trapping Hulk in the center and releasing massive electrical currents. The initially straight columns bent inward, forcing Hulk down.]
[Hulk attempted to escape through the last remaining gap, but was repelled by the powerful current and withdrew his hand. The containnt device sealed the final crack just in ti.]
[For a mont, the streets grew quiet as many citizens and police officers cautiously examined this sudden apparatus. Then, bursts of roaring sounds emanated from inside.]
[Many citizens realized the situation was deteriorating and imdiately fled, though so fearless onlookers remained to watch.]
[The police officers gripped their rifles and slowly approached, but the vibrations grew stronger and stronger. The containnt device visibly bulged from Hulk's powerful impacts.]
[The ground trembled again, and then the entire containnt unit collapsed, sinking directly into the pavent. The shockwave knocked nearby people to the ground.]
[As police officers moved closer to inspect the damaged device, Hulk suddenly burst through the street from underground, erging not far away.]
[Unfortunately, there was a woman trapped in a nearby car. Facing the enraged Hulk, she could only scream helplessly.]
[The police imdiately opened fire on Hulk, drawing his attention. He turned and roared ferociously at them.]
[At that mont, Tony finally arrived, now equipped with the massive Hulkbuster armor. Veronica continued delivering additional components for him to integrate.]
[The enormous armor was powered by multiple Arc Reactors distributed throughout its fra. Clearly, trendous energy was required to operate such a colossal suit.]
[After the armor was fully assembled, Tony calmly announced through external speakers: "Alright, everybody, stand down!"]
[Hulk glared at the massive Hulkbuster armor and growled softly, while citizens watched the two titans confronting each other in the middle of the street.]
[Tony extended a hand. "Just got to wait for Banner to co back. Co on, Bruce! The sun's getting real low!"]
[Upon hearing Banner's na, Hulk's rage surged anew and he bellowed furiously at Tony.]
[Tony imdiately realized his mistake. "Right, right, right! Don't ntion puny Banner!"]
[Unfortunately, it was too late. Hulk grabbed a nearby car and hurled it at Tony. Tony caught it, but Hulk followed with a powerful punch that pierced through the vehicle and sent Tony flying.]
["Okay!" Tony sorsaulted backward and gouged two deep furrows in the ground with his feet. He then activated the thrusters and charged toward Hulk.]
[He grabbed Hulk's head, lifted him up, and then slamd him to the ground, dragging him along the pavent.]
[Hulk kicked Tony away, sending him crashing down heavily. Tony imdiately activated his back thrusters to stabilize himself, redirecting his montum to face Hulk again.]
[Hulk rushed toward him, leaped high, and brought his fists down on Tony's head. Tony raised his left arm to block, using his larger fra to push Hulk aside, then fired his repulsor to knock him away.]
