[Peter walked alongside Mary Jane, the weight of their conversation pulling him down. He mustered the courage to speak, "How about so fried noodles? Just like old tis." Mary Jane stopped, her face softening for a mont before she sighed deeply. "Peter, I'm getting married." ]
[Peter froze, his heart dropping, but he forced a smile. "I've always imagined you getting married on a mountain top." His attempt at humor fell flat. Mary Jane turned to him, her voice edged with exasperation. "And the groom?" she asked pointedly.
Peter looked at her, his smile fading. "You haven't picked one yet."]
[Mary Jane's gaze hardened. "Do you think that just by showing up at my performance, you can make regret my engagent?"]
[Peter hopes to win back Mary Jane, "You said you loved , let's be together like before. I used to think there were a lot of things I needed to do, but now I don't."]
[Mary Jane said regretfully: "It's too late!"
"Think about it for a while, okay?"
"Think about what?"
"Let's continue our relationship!"]
["Where do we start? We were never ant to be together! How can we continue our relationship if we didn't have any previous relationship? Peter!" Mary Jane was a little annoyed by Peter's fantasy.]
["It's not that simple." ]
["Of course you think so, you always complicate things!"]
["You don't understand!" Mary Jane sighed, and Peter tried to convince her. "I'm no longer an empty chair. I'm not the sa as before. If you punch , I'll bleed!"]
[Peter looked at Mary Jane with hope, while Mary Jane looked helpless. She said goodbye to Peter and told him that she would hold the wedding in the church. Before leaving, she looked at Peter and said, "You have indeed changed!" Peter also smiled.]
"Harry, please take good care of her for , okay?" Peter lowered his head and patted Harry's shoulder. He had been secretly in love with Mary Jane for a long ti, but in the end he still wanted to help Harry be with her so that he wouldn't have to worry.
Harry didn't say anything, just looked at him quietly. He had been in contact with Mary Jane recently, and their relationship was gradually heating up. Mary Jane also knew that Peter had decided to choose Spider-Man and didn't want to be trapped in a relationship.
[In the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jason is talking to his wife, "Honey, we agreed to have a wedding, not to bankrupt us! Caviar? Are we going to invite the Tsar? Just get so cheese, crackers, and so sausages."]
[Miss Brant entered, followed by a ragged-looking man holding a bag. "Boss, soone has sothing you might want to see."]
[Jason rolled his eyes. "If it's not an alien head, I'm not interested."]
[The holess man calmly took out Spider-Man's mask from the bag. J. Jonah Jason beca upset and stood up. "Where did you get these things?"]
[Robbie next to him snatched the mask from his hand and examined it carefully. The holess man said calmly: "In the garbage dump!"]
[Jason looked through the contents of the bag. "In the garbage?" He looked at the Spider suit in his hand. "He's done! Spider-Man has quit. I've finally defeated him! This is the power of the press!" Jason looked at everyone with a smile on his face.]
["I finally defeated him. It's a great victory for the power of the dia!" But the holess man only wanted money, "So… do I get paid??"]
[Jason once again showed his stingy nature, "I'll give you fifty bucks!" The holess man said dissatisfiedly, "I can get more if I sell it on eBay!"]
["Okay, I'll give you a hundred dollars, Miss Brant. Give him the money and a bar of soap!" J. Jonah Jason looked at the holess man with disgust. ]
[Before Miss Brant left, she reminded him, "Your wife is still on the line!" The holess man followed Miss Brant out.]
[Jason picked up the phone and yelled, "Flowers? How much?" After hearing what his wife said, he yelled, "If you spend a penny more, you can pick flowers from my grave! Just get so plastic ones!" He hung up the phone in a hurry.]
[Robbie, who was holding the spider mask, felt extrely sad and sorry for Spider-Man. He didn't want to see Jason's smug smile, so he turned and looked out the window! ]
J. Jonah Jason himself realized that sothing was wrong after seeing his smug face on the screen. Although he had never slandered Spider-Man in real life, a large number of citizens were still angered by him on the screen, and he would definitely be in big trouble next.
So he left the Daily Bugle in a hurry, left the matter to Robbie, and drove away, planning to co back after a while when things turned around. If there was no scene to redeed him, he would wait for a while and co back after the heat died down.
[As the Daily Bugle newspapers began to be sold, the news that Spider-Man had lost his suit beca widely known, and singers on the street who had originally praised Spider-Man began to use songs to ask where Spider-Man had gone.]
[The headline on the front page of the Daily Bugle: "Spider-Man is done" is very eye-catching! ]
[A man in a spider suit suddenly appeared on the screen, performing various Spider-Man moves, and accidentally bumped into a pen holder next to him.]
[The cara zooms out and it turns out to be Jason. He is holding a cigar and imitating Spider-Man's movents, jumping onto the table. He imitates the scene of shooting spider web on the table and dubs himself.]
[Hoffman, Brent and Robbie secretly watched this scene, laughing so hard that they couldn't stop. Robbie even shook his head, thinking that another person had gone crazy.]
[The scene was so beautiful that the three dared not look any longer and left with their mouths covered. Jason turned his head and looked at the place where the three had just peeked in confusion, but found nothing, so he began to indulge in his narcissism again! ]
"Hahahahaha! What is this? The new Spider-Man?" Tony laughed so hard that he slapped his thigh. Even the serious Nick Fury was amused.
And Miss Brant was laughing so hard that she called Jason and said, "Mr. New Spider-Man, you don't have to run away, co back quickly!"
"Shut up! Brent, be careful or I'll deduct your salary!" The words 'new Spider-Man' deeply hurt Jason's heart and made him break down instantly.
But he still drove the car back to the Daily Bugle. Even though it was a bit embarrassing, it proved that he was actually a fan of Spider-Man, so he didn't have to worry about being slander by the masses.
[Peter was walking on the road after class. Two female classmates were whispering to each other and looked at him with smiles on their faces as they passed by him. Seeing this, Peter felt better.]
[While passing an alley, Peter saw two people robbing a boy. The boy struggled to escape, but was grabbed by his clothes and could not break free.]
[The smile on Peter's face disappeared. He turned his head and faced away from them, not wanting to see this scene again. The boy began to shout for help, and Peter left with a heavy heart.]
"The kindness and justice in his heart are still there, but he has been crushed, Peter Parker..." Tony looked at Peter with mixed feelings as he silently walked away from them.
