"How greedy can you be, Toos? Are you really willing to sacrifice your life for those things?"
"Is Peter Parker okay?"
"This is way too dangerous! The plane could have crashed at any mont!"
"I thought Spider-Man was done for! Thank God he was smart enough to stop the engine with his webs!"
The audience buzzed with mixed emotions. So were appalled by Vulture's obsession with money, while many more were deeply concerned about Spider-Man's safety.
Tony Stark watched in frustration, shaking his head at the glaring flaws in his own security systems.
How had his future self let sothing like this happen? The plane was packed with advanced Stark technology, yet its most crucial safety asures were practically nonexistent. No alarms had sounded when the cabin was breached, and external damage had gone unnoticed. Worst of all, the aircraft's system had been hacked in under thirty seconds.
This was an unacceptable oversight.
[Amid the smoke and dust, Spider-Man lay sprawled on the ground. His body ached from the crash, and a high-pitched ringing echoed in his ears. He reached up, lifted his mask slightly, and exhaled sharply.]
[Using his arms for support, he tried to push himself up—but before he could steady himself, Vulture charged at him, sending him flying with a devastating blow.]
[But Toos wasn't in great shape either. Although he had knocked Spider-Man away, he himself stumbled to the ground. Sparks flickered from his chanical wings, clear signs of internal damage.]
["Hey! Pedro!" Vulture snarled, lunging toward Spider-Man again.]
[Spider-Man rolled away just in ti, barely dodging his attack. Jumping to his feet, he fired a web at Toos, but the villain sidestepped and stomped down hard, pinning him in place.]
["Ahhh!!!" Spider-Man cried out as Vulture took advantage of the mont, raising his chanical fist and slamming it into Spider-Man's face.]
[After taking several blows, Spider-Man finally reacted. Gritting his teeth, he grabbed hold of Vulture's fist with both hands. But Toos smirked, yanked him up, and tossed him into the air.]
[As Spider-Man struggled to free himself mid-air, he suddenly noticed a sharp tal spike waiting below him.]
[Thinking fast, he shot a web at Vulture's feet, pulling himself upward and avoiding the spike just in ti. Using the montum, he swung forward and delivered a powerful kick to Toos' chest.]
[The impact propelled Spider-Man higher, allowing him to montarily gain the upper hand. As he descended, he grabbed onto Vulture, trying to take him down with him.]
[But Toos reacted quickly, twisting mid-air and flinging Spider-Man away.]
[Before Spider-Man could recover, Vulture slamd down on his back, pinning him to the ground. Then, gripping the young hero's suit, he ruthlessly swung him back and forth, slamming him against the dirt.]
[Groaning in pain, Spider-Man flipped onto his back, only to see Vulture looming over him. With a swift motion, Toos drove one of his tal wings into Spider-Man's hood, lifting him into the air.]
[But instead of finishing him off, Vulture's attention shifted to sothing else. Behind Spider-Man lay a large tal crate. His eyes glead with greed.]
["Bingo," Toos muttered, tossing Spider-Man aside like discarded trash.]
[Removing his helt, he turned toward the crate, oblivious to the increasing sparks erupting from his wings.]
[Still sprawled on the ground, Spider-Man weakly lifted his head. His eyes widened as he spotted the growing malfunctions in Vulture's flight suit. "Your wings! They're about to explode!"]
[But Toos ignored the warning. He was determined to take off with his prize. Seeing this, Spider-Man gritted his teeth and, despite his injuries, shot a web at the crate, trying to hold it back and prevent Vulture from leaving.]
[Toos turned and glared at him. "It's ti to go ho, Peter."]
[Spider-Man yelled back, "I'm trying to save you!"]
[But Toos didn't listen. He sliced through the webbing with his wings. "NO!" Spider-Man shouted as he lost his grip and collapsed to the ground. He attempted to fire another web, but his shooter had run out of fluid.]
[Helpless, he could only watch as Toos ascended—until the inevitable happened.]
[Mid-flight, his chanical wings erupted into flas. The damage was too severe. Explosion after explosion tore through the suit, and within seconds, Vulture lost control.]
[With a final, fiery burst, he plumted back to the ground, crashing hard as a small explosion followed.]
["NO!" Spider-Man cried out. Despite everything, he rushed toward the wreckage, ignoring the searing pain in his body.]
[He reached Toos and struggled to lift the heavy, burning wings off of him. The heat scorched his hands, but he didn't hesitate for a second.]
[With one last push, he threw the damaged wings aside and dragged Toos away from the fire.]
[In the glow of the burning wreckage, Spider-Man gently laid Toos on the ground before collapsing beside him, completely exhausted.]
[Toos turned his head slightly, looking at Spider-Man with complicated emotions. He hadn't expected the young hero to save him after everything they'd been through.]
[After catching his breath, Spider-Man slowly stood up, gripping his injured shoulder. He looked down at the defeated Vulture before glancing around at the chaotic scene.]
[The cara shifted, revealing the arrival of the Damage Control Departnt. Happy Hogan ran onto the beach, shining a flashlight, until his eyes landed on Toos—tied up neatly in webbing.]
[Beside him lay a note that read: Found a flying vulture guy – Spider-Man.]
[At the bottom, a scribbled PS read: Sorry for breaking your plane.]
[anwhile, Spider-Man perched atop an old roller coaster, watching as fire trucks rushed toward the wreckage. He took a deep breath and leaned back, quietly resting in the night breeze.]
"As expected of Peter Parker! Even after everything, he didn't abandon his enemy."
"Toos didn't even rember his na, but Peter still saved him."
"Well, he is Liz's father… I bet he didn't want her to suffer the loss."
"Wait, where the hell is Tony Stark? Does he even know what's happening? What's he doing?!"
As the broadcast continued, discussions erupted everywhere.
At the Avengers compound, Rhodey shook his head with a sigh. "Peter is great in every way, but sotis he's too good-hearted."
Banner smiled slightly. "That's what makes him Peter, isn't it?"
"Okay, fair point," Rhodey admitted with a shrug.
Pepper turned to Happy. "You should really be thanking Peter right now."
"Yeah, no doubt about that," Happy agreed, nodding sincerely.
[Back at school, students were taking down decorations from the Hocoming dance. Peter and Ned walked side by side.]
["That was insane! The whole thing! It was just crazy!" Ned waved his hands dramatically. "He was going swoosh swoosh like that! And you were like Aaaah! all the ti! And then I was just—swoosh swoosh—shooting him like crazy!"]
[Ned recounted last night's events with wide eyes, still unable to fully process what had happened. "It was just... Oh. My. God!"]
["You saved , dude! That was aweso!" Peter chuckled, looking down. Ned patted his shoulder with a grin.]
