Mary Jane gazed at the younger version of herself in high school, a flood of mixed emotions surging through her heart. She missed the First Generation Spider-Man. Every ti she saw Gwen being so close to him at a party, a sense of inferiority crept over her.
Fortunately, Harry had always cared for her—his first love, the girl who held a special place in his heart. Although many suitors tried to get close to Harry, he never crossed the line.
Mary Jane had co to realize the mistakes she had made in the past. Now, she clung closely to Harry, a man who was not only wealthy and well-known but also willing to make real sacrifices for Spider-Man.
A man like him was rare. Mary Jane understood this clearly. She had already lost one boy who once had eyes only for her; she couldn't afford to lose another.
First Gen Spider-Man rubbed his forehead and let out a long sigh. No matter what, fate had a way of catching up to him.
Let the storm co. Let it rage on.
Beside him, Gwen Stacy gently took his hand in hers, giving him silent support. Across from them sat Gwen's parents—her father, George Stacy, and her mother, Helen.
While the world looked at Spider-Man with curiosity and admiration, the two elders felt sothing more profound—heartache. This young man had endured countless hardships, yet he remained steadfast in his ideals.
Despite the wealth he had accumulated from his copyright royalties—more than enough to live luxuriously for multiple lifetis—he still chose to put his life on the line every day to fight cri.
This rare quality of perseverance and selflessness was what they admired most about him.
["I fell in love with her before I even liked girls. I really wanted to say that the person sitting next to her should be ."]
[The cara focused on Flash Thompson hugging Mary Jane before shifting to a chubby guy eating a sandwich across from them.]
["Well, being him wouldn't be so bad either." First Gen Spider-Man laughed at himself, just as a frantic hand began banging on the school bus window.]
["Hey! Stop the bus! Please, tell him to stop! Hey! Stop!!!" First Gen Spider-Man was seen running after the moving school bus, desperately trying to get on.]
[Inside the bus, the students burst into laughter at his predicant, even the driver chuckling at his misfortune. So passengers playfully suggested he take a taxi instead.]
[Finally, Mary Jane couldn't take it anymore. She stepped forward and shouted to the driver, "Stop the bus! He's been chasing us since Woodhaven Road!"]
[With a reluctant sigh, the driver finally hit the brakes. First Gen Spider-Man staggered onto the bus, panting as he apologized, "Thanks… Sorry, I'm late!"]
[Before he could finish his sentence, a crumpled paper ball flew at his face. He didn't react, rely glancing at his classmates before silently walking toward the back of the bus.]
[The mocking laughter continued. A girl with twin ponytails casually placed her hand on the seat next to her and sneered, "Don't even think about it."]
[Another classmate chid in, "You're pathetic, Parker!"]
[One of Flash's lackeys looked back. Flash gave him a knowing nod, prompting the guy to smirk at First Gen Spider-Man.]
[As he walked down the aisle, every seat was deliberately occupied, leaving him nowhere to sit. When he finally spotted Mary Jane, he smiled faintly, hoping for so kindness. But he failed to notice a foot sticking out in his path. In the next mont, he tripped, crashing onto the bus floor to the sound of more laughter.]
Tony Stark leaned back in his chair at the S.H.I.E.L.D. conference room, smirking. "Wow. That's rough. Looks like he had it even worse than the Second Gen Peter Parker. Seems like everybody hated him back then."
Rhodey shook his head. "Yeah… I wonder if they'll regret it?"
Clint Barton replied in his usual calm tone, "Of course they will. If any of them had reached out to help him in those monts, they would've earned his eternal gratitude."
And regret they did.
Many of them had already felt remorse the mont these broadcasts started playing. But it was too late.
The First Gen Spider-Man had long since outgrown them. He was in a league of his own now.
Gwen squeezed his hand, her heart aching for the boy he used to be. He returned a reassuring smile, silently telling her he had moved on.
Harry Osborn, watching the scene unfold, recalled how he had always been on Peter's side in those days. The mories of their high school years brought a nostalgic smile to his lips.
But Mary Jane…
Though she remained expressionless, deep down, a sense of lancholy crept into her heart.
["Students of Midtown High, stop wandering off! Stay in line—hey, stop ssing around!"]
[A black teacher scolded a group of students as he confiscated a bouncing ball from one of them.]
["Listen up! It's a privilege to be here! We are guests at the Columbia University Academy of Science. So behave yourselves! Don't embarrass like you did at the planetarium last ti!"]
[As he spoke, Mary Jane turned her head slightly and caught sight of Peter walking behind her. Seeing that she was looking in his direction, Peter raised his eyebrows, his heart leaping with hope.]
[But he failed to notice two girls walking in the sa direction, waving to Mary Jane. His hopeful smile quickly faded as he realized he had misunderstood.]
[Sighing in disappointnt, First Gen Spider-Man followed the crowd inside. At that mont, a sleek luxury car pulled up in front of the building.]
[Inside the car, Harry Osborn looked at his father, exasperated. "Can we go around the corner instead?"]
[Norman Osborn frowned. "Why? The entrance is right here."]
["Dad! They're public school students. Do you really want stepping out of a Rolls-Royce in front of them?"]
[Norman scoffed. "What, would you rather I drive you here in a beat-up Jetta? Just because that fancy private school I sent you to kicked you out?"]
["That school wasn't right for !" Harry retorted.]
["Of course, it was! Don't be ashad of who you are!" Norman snapped, eyes narrowing.]
[Harry clenched his jaw but struggled to explain. "I'm not ashad of myself, I just…"]
["Just what, Harry?" Norman asked coldly.]
[Harry sighed. "Forget it."]
[At that mont, he spotted Peter outside the building. His expression softened as he opened the car door and stepped out. "Peter!"]
[Hearing his na, Peter turned around and smiled. "Hey, Harry!"]
[Harry jogged over, giving Peter a friendly pat on the back. "Hey, man! You doing okay?"]
[Together, the two walked into Columbia University, side by side.]
