In the Smith Manor, Helios was seen doing a push up, and he was bathed in his own sweat.
“110…” he gasped. “111…”
anwhile, his mother was sitting near him, along with his father. Juno was standing beside Helios, and she was giving pressure to Helios.
“Co on~ that’s only ten tis the gravity of earth~” Juno teased.
“O-Only…. Y-Your ass…” cursed Helios, still doing push ups.
“Language.” said Thena. “Juno, add it.”
“Eleven tis it is~”
“Fuckkk…”
“Juno?” Thena spoke again.
“Twelve tis~”
Helios just clicked his tongue and continued his push ups. anwhile, Pluto was watching the news rather attentively, watching the reporter speak on his smartphone.
The news showed the destruction of Manhattan. It was severe to say the least, and Pluto also noticed that the Chitauri corpses were a lot more than he rembered.
“Hypnos, does he know ?” Pluto questioned Hypnos in his mind.
“I believe so,” said Hypnos. “He was testing his waters on earth.”
“Is he an Eternal?”
“No.” he said. “He loathes Eternals. The Eternals of Titan entered themselves to the Royal Family of Titan, being brothers and sisters of the King, Queen, Princes, and Princesses. Before they noticed sothing was wrong, it was too late, the Ergence happened. One of the reasons that Thanos wanted to wipe out half of the universe was to delay the Ergence on every planet with a celestial seed.”
“But that’s a stupid goal.” Pluto humd, making Thena turn to him. “The Population would just recover in a couple of decades, that is not useful at all compared to the blood he would spill.”
“Like I said, it’s only part of the reason.” Hypnos refuted.
“Right…”
“What’s wrong?” Thena questioned.
“Hm? Nothing…” Pluto murmured. “Just a bit worried that’s all…”
The news then continued to display the victims of the incident. They were praising the Avengers and hooded n and won that saved them, saying that they’re the heroes of New York, but there was one man that stood out the most, it was the Senator, and he had a different opinion.
“These so-called ‘heroes’ have to be held responsible for the destruction of the city!” he shouted to the press. “I an look around you, buildings collapsed, roads destroyed, bodies everywhere! These are no actions of heroes, this was their fight, they caused this, but where are they now? Stark hid in his big tower, the so-called God of Thunder disappeared from the city with the supposed criminal, not to ntion these hooded n! Their powers caused significant damage to the city! And yet they just left like that! Are they even Arican Citizens? With the Avengers at least we know who’s responsible, but the hooded n? We don’t even know who they are! The federal governnt must take action on these Vigilantes!”
The news then displayed the video of Bradley punching the Leviathan so hard that the Leviathan slamd on the ground, destroying many cars and roads, it then displayed Kojirou killing many Leviathans, cutting up buildings and roads on the way.
Then, the news cut to King Grodd, who was standing in a podium. “As the king of the Ziran Kingdom, we will help the reparation of the city. Our troops will stay in Manhattan for months to help with the reparation process and supplies, if any of your hos are destroyed and have nowhere to stay, you can go to our military post in Hell’s Kitchen for so essential things, we will also provide temporary housing, in hopes that it will relief the pain this tragedy has brought to you all…”
“Spoken like a true politician.” Pluto humd. He then turned towards Helios, who was sweating like crazy, trying to survive the ordeal. “How many have you done?”
“132…” Helios gasped. “133…”
“Alright, I think that’s good enough.” said Pluto, putting his Smartphone in his pocket, and he stood up from his chair.
Helios then dropped to the ground, and Juno disappeared, entering Pluto once again. Helios was gasping for air, his muscles were all sore, and his face all purple.
“Only 133? Do we have sothing to do?” Thena questioned, also standing up.
“Well, New York was attacked, so we have a lot to do…” Pluto murmured.
“W-What? W-what do you an New York was attacked?” Helios questioned in worry. “Is Gwen alright?”
“The attack doesn’t reach Queens, so it’s probably fine.” Pluto shrugged. “Co on, we’re going ho.”
Pluto then grabbed Helios, he put him on his shoulder, and the three of them disappeared from the mansion, towards their ho in Queens.
