After a long ditation session, Yang Kai finally completed refining the maximum amount of Yang Qi his body could absorb and contain. His breathing was steady, and his mind was calm, like still water after a storm. The energy within him surged with strength, and he felt more attuned to his cultivation than ever before.

Just as he opened his eyes, a loud commotion arose near the cave's entrance—voices echoed from the direction of the Bloody Battle Group's encampnt. It seed the mont had arrived. The fifty selected disciples from the Bloody Battle Group were preparing to enter the Heaven's Cave Inheritance.

This arrangent was no surprise to Yang Kai. During the negotiations between the three great factions—High Heaven Pavilion, Storm House, and Bloody Battle Group—a deal had been struck. While the Bloody Battle Group had initially planned to monopolize the mysterious inheritance for themselves, their ambitions were quickly checked by the presence of the other two sects. As a compromise, the sects agreed to pay one million in silver and, in return, allowed the Bloody Battle Group to send fifty of their disciples into the inheritance site six hours earlier than the rest.

It was a political move to maintain balance and avoid open conflict. Still, the tension between the three sides remained palpable.

Yang Kai, however, wasn't fazed. He calmly observed the commotion from afar with a faint smirk.

Unlocking the true inheritance inside required defeating nine formidable Monster Beasts. With only fifty disciples entering first, the Bloody Battle Group had little chance of overcoming that challenge unscathed, if at all.

At the center of this group of fifty were none other than Hu Jiao'er and Hu i'er, the twin Young Ladies of the Bloody Battle Group. The sisters, strikingly beautiful and elegant, walked side by side. Although they looked identical, there was a subtle charm in each that made them uniquely enchanting. Their alluring presence caused many heads to turn and hearts to beat faster.

Their beauty was such that countless n would willingly risk their lives just to earn a smile from them. For so, even a glance would be worth a lifeti of devotion.

Yang Kai watched them quietly, an amused gleam flickering in his eyes. 'If only they knew that one of those sisters—Hu i'er—has already been conquered by .' The thought made him chuckle inwardly, but his expression remained serene and composed.

Soon, one after another, the disciples of the Bloody Battle Group stepped into the light barrier and disappeared into the depths of the cave. Their figures flickered for a mont before vanishing without a trace. Watching this, many disciples from High Heaven Pavilion grew anxious and uneasy, especially those who had been dreaming of obtaining the inheritance for themselves.

Then, just as the atmosphere began to calm, a figure shot through the night sky like a blazing cot, heading directly toward the cave.

Startled by the sudden movent, Hu Man and the other high-ranking mbers of the Bloody Battle Group instinctively shouted in alarm, "Who dares?!"

A thundering voice replied without hesitation, filled with authority and disdain. "Naturally, it's !"

The voice belonged to none other than ng Wuya. His eyes, sharp as blades, burned with fiery anger as he glared at the group of sect leaders and elders. With a single wave of his hand and a commanding gesture, he called out, "Co here."

From the sky, a lithe figure floated down. All eyes turned toward her in awe and confusion. She was a young woman, her face partially concealed by a veil, but even the veil couldn't hide her extraordinary beauty. Her eyes were crystal clear and carried a mysterious charm, and her graceful form moved like a celestial being descending from the heavens.

More importantly, her cultivation aura stunned everyone. She was in the True Elent Realm!

Gasps rippled through the crowd. Hu Man's expression turned grim as he turned to Long Zai Tian with a glare full of bla. "Look at what your grandson has done!"

Long Zai Tian remained silent. His eyes, however, were filled with unspoken fury as he stared at ng Wuya and the veiled girl. He wanted nothing more than to act, to seek revenge, but he knew better. ng Wuya's strength was unfathomable. Any attempt to provoke him would end in disaster. He clenched his fists and suppressed his rage, unwillingly swallowing the humiliation.

With a gentle, doting tone, ng Wuya addressed the young woman, "My precious disciple, great opportunities lie within that cave. Go. Seek them out."

The girl nodded softly and turned her gaze toward the light barrier. Her eyes scanned the crowd briefly, as if searching for soone. It was nightfall, and visibility was low, so her search yielded no results.

ng Wuya noticed her hesitation and urged her once again. "Go now."

With a trace of sadness lingering in her eyes, she bit her lip, bowed slightly to her Master, and flew into the cave without looking back.

Throughout the entire event, not a single mber of the Bloody Battle Group dared to interfere. None had the courage to stop ng Wuya or his disciple. His imposing presence alone was enough to make them freeze in place.

Wei Xitong and the four Elders from High Heaven Pavilion were left speechless. None of them had expected this outco. The man they had always seen as a lecherous, idle storekeeper had suddenly revealed himself as a terrifying expert—so powerful and authoritative that even Hu Man had to step aside.

He had openly broken the agreent between the three sects, allowing his disciple to enter the inheritance site ahead of schedule, and no one dared to stop him.

To maintain so semblance of fairness, Hu Man turned to Long Jun, grandson of Long Zai Tian, and stopped him from entering with the first group of fifty.

Long Jun's heart sank. This opportunity ant everything to him. Just as he prepared to enter and secure an advantage over others, Hu Man's voice rang out, commanding him to wait. He looked toward his grandfather with desperate eyes, silently begging for help.

But Long Zai Tian only took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and sighed with resignation. "As Group Master Hu has said, Long Jun, you shall wait for half a day."

Long Jun clenched his jaw tightly. "Yes..." he muttered bitterly.

anwhile, Hu Man turned toward ng Wuya and forced a smile onto his face. "Senior, is this arrangent satisfactory?"

ng Wuya smiled coldly. "Of course it is. But let be clear—if my disciple returns and so much as ntions that soone offended her, I hope you won't misinterpret my actions when I settle the score."

Hu Man's face twitched, and a thin layer of cold sweat ford on his forehead. Although he smiled outwardly, he could feel the underlying threat in ng Wuya's words.

"Of course! Of course!" he replied quickly.

Internally, however, his thoughts were in chaos. 'Damn it! We'll have to warn everyone! If any of our disciples encounter that girl inside, they must treat her with utmost respect. We can't afford any conflict with her—especially not if that lunatic ng Wuya finds out.'

Without wasting ti, Hu Man discreetly dispatched ssengers to warn the Bloody Battle Group's disciples. They were instructed to be extrely cautious and respectful if they crossed paths with the veiled girl.

Witnessing all this left many of the High Heaven Pavilion disciples stunned. Who could have imagined that their perverted storekeeper, who had always seed so harmless, was actually a peerless expert with terrifying strength? Even Elder Wei Xitong couldn't demand such deference from Hu Man.

Gradually, peace returned to the scene. The disciples resud ditating, trying to recover their strength before it was their turn to enter. Each of them hoped to be in peak condition, ready to seize whatever fortune awaited them inside the Heaven's Cave.

Suddenly, Su Xuan Wu sighed. "We can't say for certain that the loss of our disciples will account for our gain in treasures." He knew that Su Yan can manage herself and lead other disciples as well, but he wasn't sure about how Su Mu would do, although his cultivation has increased in the past few months.

On the other hand, Wei Xitong was more hopeful. "Inside, if one can obtain the inheritance, he would certainly beco a person of trendous potential and ability. Far surpassing us!"

"Let's just hope so..."

---------------------------------------

The dim light from the night sky filtered through the swaying canopy of the forest as a soft breeze rustled the leaves. Ti passed slowly, each second thick with anticipation. Tension hung in the air like mist. Then, suddenly, powerful voices from the three great factions—High Heaven Pavilion, Storm House, and the Bloody Battle Gang—rang out like thunder.

"It's ti!"

Their synchronized shouts echoed through the forest, startling the ditating disciples. One by one, the cultivators stirred, their eyes snapping open as if roused from a trance. The mont had finally co.

The elite disciples of the Bloody Battle Gang had already entered the Heaven's Cave Inheritance six hours ago, vanishing into its mysterious depths. Now, it was ti for the rest of the qualified disciples to follow.

From the High Heaven Pavilion's camp, Su Yan and Xia Hong Chen stepped forward. Su Yan, with her graceful yet aloof deanor, radiated calm confidence, while Xia Hong Chen, recently advanced to the True Elent Realm, carried himself with bold pride. Behind them, disciples ford two neat columns, each person wearing a determined expression. They moved with practiced discipline, stepping into the light barrier one by one. As each disciple passed through, their figures shimred for a mont before vanishing from sight.

Among them, Yang Kai and Su Mu walked side by side, their footsteps synchronized.

Su Mu, however, was visibly uneasy. His hands rubbed together repeatedly, betraying the nerves that plagued him.

"If only we could arrive at the sa location," Su Mu muttered under his breath, glancing sideways at Yang Kai. "That would make things much easier."

"We can hope," Yang Kai replied calmly, "but that's not how Elder Su explained it. He said that once we pass through the barrier, we'll be scattered. Everyone will land in different locations."

"Damn..." Su Mu grumbled, his brow furrowing. "That makes things a lot riskier. Yang Kai, do you know anything about the inheritance? What kind it is?"

Yang Kai gave him a flat look. "If I knew, I wouldn't be standing here with you."

"Well... what about the dangers inside? Surely, they must've told soone what to expect!"

"No clue," Yang Kai said again, his tone calm but resolute.

Su Mu let out an exaggerated sigh and gripped the edge of his robes. "Ah, I'm so anxious right now! I feel like my heart's going to leap out of my chest."

Yang Kai offered no further comnt. His attention shifted to the light barrier ahead. It pulsed faintly with energy, its surface rippling like water.

Soon, it was their turn.

As Yang Kai stepped forward, his surroundings began to distort. The air shimred, and his field of vision narrowed sharply. The mont he crossed the threshold of the light barrier, everything changed.

There was no sound.

No light.

No air.

He was suddenly surrounded by a strange, otherworldly void. Ti seed frozen. Space felt unanchored. He glanced down and saw a single radiant flower blooming beneath his feet—its petals glowing with ethereal light. Suspended in midair, the flower slowly rotated, like a compass searching for direction.

Then, without warning, the flower blinked out of existence.

And Yang Kai fell.

He plumted through the void, but there was no sensation of wind or gravity—just motion and light swirling around him in a chaotic dance. It lasted only a few monts, and then, with a gentle thud, he landed.

He stood in a wide, open field. The grass was an unusual shade of green, vibrant and lush, as if untouched by ti. He looked up instinctively, but the sky above held no sun, no moon, no clouds, and no stars—just an endless expanse of calm blue, completely still.

And hovering silently above him... was a massive black portal.
