"Underground fighting arena?"

Lu Sheng was sowhat surprised that Jiang He would ntion this na.

Lu Sheng was not unfamiliar with Polestar Black Market’s underground fighting arena. The first ti Lu Sheng encountered chanical prosthetic repair was when he t Tang Shun, who was fighting in the underground arena.

From Li Mo’s mouth, Lu Sheng also knew how dangerous the underground arena was. Now, Tang Shun had already died at his ten consecutive wins point.

Thus, Lu Sheng had a certain aversion to the underground fighting arena.

Jiang He gave Lu Sheng a deep look: "It seems like you know sothing about the underground fighting arena. However, there’s a big difference between soone recomnding you and you going alone."

"I also know the underground arena is full of dangers. Anyone who participates is undoubtedly a ruthless character wanting to gamble their life for a future, but... I know the Transcendent who oversees Qiming City’s Polestar Black Market."

"I’ll arrange everything for you, so it won’t be too dangerous."

Jiang He said casually.

Lu Sheng paused, realizing this was the difference between having connections and not.

With Jiang He backing him, Lu Sheng could naturally ensure his safety in the underground arena and use this opportunity to refine his martial skills and fighting experience.

But for soone like Tang Shun, who had no background, it was a matter of gambling one’s life.

Lu Sheng gradually realized that with his Qi Blood Illusion, he was now a key trainee under Jiang He’s ntorship. From Jiang He sparring with Zhao Jiadi’s father to Jiang He now being willing to speak a few words on Lu Sheng’s behalf to the fourth-rank Transcendent at Polestar Black Market.

No doubt Lu Sheng now had Jiang He as his powerful source of support.

This favor... was indeed heavy!

The underground black market is a good place to make money and also a good place to hone martial arts and improve fighting experience.

Except for the high risk of death.

If the danger of death were completely removed, it would be perfect.

Lu Sheng nodded in agreent.

However, Lu Sheng still felt emotional thinking about Tang Shun and Li Mo.

When thinking about Li Mo, Lu Sheng also recalled the drafting issue and couldn’t help but look at Jiang He, hesitating.

Jiang He naturally noticed Lu Sheng’s hesitation and smiled, "Is there anything else? Tell about it."

Lu Sheng pondered for a mont and then inford Jiang He about Li Mo’s situation.

Jiang He, being a fourth-rank Martial Artist and the Minister of Education, presumably had so influence over the draft.

Li Mo had treated Lu Sheng well, and Lu Sheng was grateful, so he wanted to ask Jiang He for help, seeing if Li Mo could avoid the future drafts or, if not, at least delay the drafting ti.

As for the favor owed to Jiang He, Lu Sheng would repay it in the future.

After hearing this, Jiang He waved his hand, "It’s hard to avoid the Human Federation’s frontline draft. This draft will likely last a long ti, but I can delay it by a day or two for a Qi Blood Realm Martial Artist."

"However, the draft on Tianqi Star has already entered the third round. The frontline battles won’t be decided quickly. According to my estimation, this draft will last at least a year."

"Any Transcendent who has exhausted their talent cannot escape this draft, even soone like ..."

Jiang He self-mockingly smiled, "Don’t be fooled by my many titles. I’m also a Transcendent who has exhausted his talent."

"But don’t worry. Since you asked, I’ll pay attention to this Li Mo."

"Short-term, there definitely won’t be any issues."

Jiang He patted Lu Sheng’s shoulder.

Lu Sheng felt a bit heavy-hearted hearing this.

Jiang He... might not escape this draft either... exhausted talent of a fourth-rank Martial Artist...

This world is ultimately about survival of the fittest.

Either one shows the talent to grow stronger, or becos the strongest!

Only then can one survive in this jungle law-filled world!

....

After leaving the school, Lu Sheng headed towards the address Jiang He provided in the direction of Qiming City’s Polestar Black Market.

As for the Elite Class, Jiang He had already inford Gao Feng.

For the next period, Lu Sheng didn’t need to worry about Martial Arts Class matters; he just needed to focus entirely on improving himself in the underground fighting arena!

Soon, Lu Sheng arrived at the outskirts of Qiming City. The number of people here was noticeably fewer. Even if there were pedestrians, they hurriedly walked through, seemingly not wanting to stay in this place for too long.

Lu Sheng walked through a long narrow alley, where at the end stood a middle-aged man in a black trench coat, smoking a cigarette and scrutinizing the approaching Lu Sheng.

The distance between the two gradually closed; a dangerous aura began to emanate from the middle-aged man.

Before the middle-aged man could speak, Lu Sheng spoke first.

"I’m looking for i Hua."

The middle-aged man was taken aback and gave Lu Sheng a peculiar look. Then, he groped around the thick wall behind him.

Soon, the wall emitted a loud rumbling sound and opened like a chanical door, revealing a long passageway.

"Lord i Hua is already waiting for you. Once inside, soone will guide you to et Lord i Hua."

The middle-aged man said to Lu Sheng.

Lu Sheng nodded, showing no fear as he walked towards the end of the passage.

The passage was long, and it took Lu Sheng several minutes to finally see a broad view and hear a cacophony of noises.

"Lord i Hua has been waiting for you, sir. Please follow !"

A soft voice ca to his ear. Lu Sheng glanced over and saw a young woman in a professional outfit and a tight skirt smiling at him.

"Show the way."

Lu Sheng said softly and then followed the young woman.

Along the way, Lu Sheng looked through the windows and saw outside the huge arena packed with spectators. They were hysterically cheering and cursing, clutching their bets.

The clamor he heard before was undoubtedly coming from the arena’s audience.

Following the young woman, they twisted left and right, arriving at a luxurious-looking door. The young woman respectfully knocked on the door, and a voice as gentle as spring wind ca from inside.

"Co in!"

The young woman pushed the door open, gesturing for Lu Sheng to enter.

The door opened, revealing a luxurious room. Opposite Lu Sheng, a figure in a tailcoat wearing a plum blossom mask was lounging on a sofa, with the chest slightly exposed, giving a hint of unrestrainedness amid seriousness.

"You must be the little one Minister Jiang ntioned!"

The eyes behind the plum blossom mask fell on Lu Sheng, carrying a peculiar glint, continually sizing up Lu Sheng.

Lu Sheng maintained composure, gently cupping his fist towards i Hua.

"Lu Sheng, a student of Yucai High School, greets Lord i Hua!"
