---

A delicate crystal chandelier hung overhead, and a red carpet stretched beneath his feet.

Once again entering the dream world, Chen Feng glanced at the leather sofa beside him and other items in the living room.

Without hesitation, he quickly walked to the red-painted door.

Looking through the peephole, he saw that the corridor outside was lit, and beyond the wooden floor corridor, there was a small yard enclosed by an iron fence.

In the middle, there was a small gray stone-brick path, about seven to eight ters long and two to three ters wide, leading up to the iron gate.

On either side were cobblestone-paved grounds and so flower beds planted near the iron fence.

It looked ordinary, but Chen Feng’s gaze shifted slightly.

He had clearly seen a light red glowing orb hovering above the stone path in the yard.

“Limit-breaking light orb!”

His eyes flashed, and Chen Feng decided to leave the house.

He had already searched through the house and couldn't find any other light orbs.

So, if he wanted to continue improving his strength, the opportunity outside was the only chance he had right now.

Even if it ant taking a risk, he had to try.

“Wait...”

Suddenly, he looked at the black mist beyond the iron fence.

Chen Feng pondered for a mont and decided to take precautions.

He withdrew his steps and quickly went to the study room of the house. He opened the drawer and found three items:

A pair of white sneakers that fit him well,

A silver tal knuckle duster,

And a sharp dagger wrapped in cowhide.

These were things he had seen when searching for the light orb earlier, but he hadn't paid them much attention before.

But now, since he had decided to leave the house, it was better to be prepared with so self-defense items.

“Too bad the flashlight is out of battery. It would be safer with it...”

Shaking his head inwardly, Chen Feng quickly put on the shoes, slipped the knuckle duster onto his right hand, and tucked the dagger at his waist.

With everything ready, he took a deep breath.

“Phew!”

Clearing his mind, he stepped forward and twisted the tal doorknob.

Click!

The sound of a spring-like chanism echoed as the red-painted wooden door was slowly pulled open.

Everything outside the yard looked almost the sa as what Chen Feng had seen through the peephole.

The only difference was that there was an independent small building in the yard, likely a garage.

However, it was empty, clearly, the vehicle had already been taken by the owner.

Without paying much attention, Chen Feng carefully surveyed the surroundings of the front yard.

The space was not small, nearly a hundred square ters.

The flowers and plants near the iron fence had long withered, and a mist floated outside. He could faintly see an asphalt road and the outlines of high-rise buildings and small houses.

“Get the light orb first.”

He couldn’t care about further investigating the environnt; after confirming the yard was safe, he quickly stepped forward and reached for the light red orb.

[You have obtained a (Limit-breaking Light Orb)!]

[Limit-breaking Light Orb: Residual Will of a Martial Artist’s Will]

[Quality: Primary]

[Effect: Increases martial arts skill proficiency to so extent]

The text prompt automatically appeared, and the orb absorbed into his body through his pores, seemingly stored sowhere unknown.

Without hesitation, Chen Feng clenched his fist with the knuckle duster and ntally invoked an enhancent.

Buzz!

In an instant, his head grew heavy again.

A deeper understanding of Sanda appeared out of nowhere, integrating into his mories.

In a daze, Chen Feng felt as though he had been practicing Sanda for many years, tirelessly training day and night, sweating relentlessly.

His muscles had beco stronger, and all his movents and strikes flowed more smoothly.

[Sanda: Mastery (1%)]

“Sanda mastered!”

His eyes lit up, and Chen Feng couldn't help but clench his fist.

A more complete feeling washed over him, and he imdiately called up his status panel.

[Strength: 8.6 → 8.9]

[Agility: 8.5 → 8.7]

[Constitution: 8.3 → 8.6]

[Willpower: 8.9 → 9.1]

“Four-dinsional attributes have increased so much?!”

Chen Feng's eyes narrowed in surprise. He hadn’t expected that mastering Sanda would result in such a significant enhancent.

Strength increased by 0.3, agility by 0.2, constitution by 0.3, and willpower by 0.2!

Altogether, that was a total of 1 point—comparable to the effect of two attribute orbs!

“Indeed, many people start learning Sanda, but few reach mastery.”

“Among the training class, only Xu Dongtai, Zheng Qiang, and Yu Shan reached it... This proves that proficiency becos increasingly difficult to improve as you go on.”

“And naturally, higher-level proficiency brings stronger benefits to the body.”

Chen Feng pondered and made a guess.

For a mont, he wondered if he should learn a few other martial arts styles, like Judo or Wrestling.

That way, he would gain more attribute boosts than from just mastering Sanda alone.

“But if I do that, I’ll need more Limit-breaking Light Orbs.”

“Let’s keep looking. For now, I’ll see if there are more orbs...”

With hopeful eyes, Chen Feng scanned the yard, looking around.

After searching thoroughly without success, he finally turned his gaze to the buildings and streets outside the iron fence.

The surrounding mist had dispersed slightly, and within a seven to eight-ter range, he could now see a three to five-ter-wide asphalt road, with dim streetlights standing on both sides.

The building on the opposite side was barely visible through the mist, appearing to be a six-story apartnt building.

Similarly, he withdrew his gaze and looked toward the side buildings of the yard.

On both sides, there was an apartnt building with similar floor levels and style.

“Let’s go take a look.”

After thinking for a mont, Chen Feng, eager for more light orbs, took another step forward and headed toward the central iron gate.

He hadn’t noticed before, but now that he was close, he could see the iron gate was rusty, with a thin layer of gray covering the surface.

Chains were wrapped around the top, tightly locking the gate, making it impossible to open.

“That’s odd...”

His gaze shifted as Chen Feng noticed that the large iron gate had a small door on the lower left, about two ters high and half a ter wide, just wide enough for a person to pass through.

The door was sealed with a bolt-style iron bar, and there was a square copper lock on it.

Fortunately, the key was still in the lock, as if it had been forgotten there by soone.

Thinking for a mont, Chen Feng reached forward and turned the key.

Click!

Iron filings fell from the top of the gate, and Chen Feng successfully unlocked it.

He tried to pull out the bolt, but it was stuck tightly due to rust.

After a bit of force, with a screeching sound, he managed to remove the bolt and open the small door, revealing a passage just big enough for one person.

Clink-clink!

He stepped forward, gripping the knuckle duster tightly, and walked out.

The black mist in the distance still floated slowly, like tangible water flowing.

Many buildings were hidden within the mist, and the streetlights within only cast vague outlines, not illuminating anything.

The atmosphere was eerily silent, with no movent whatsoever.

Watching this scene, for so reason, Chen Feng suddenly felt a tightness in his chest.

It was as if so kind of monster was lurking nearby, watching him.

“Should I go back?”

He glanced at the glowing house behind him, almost wanting to retreat.

However, the apartnt buildings on both sides and the ones across the road seed to emit an invisible allure.

There might be more light orbs there.

Limit-breaking!

Attributes!

With this thought, Chen Feng steeled his resolve.

Since he had already mastered Sanda, if danger arose, he might still have the power to defend himself.

Huff!

Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to push down all distractions.

Chen Feng tightened his grip on the knuckle duster, his fists prid, his eyes alert as he cautiously moved toward one of the nearby apartnt buildings.

Click-clack!

Click-clack!

The sound of his footsteps echoed as he followed the road's edge, quickly reaching the entrance of the apartnt building.

The iron fence blocked both sides, and only a half-open iron door stood in front of him.

With the light from the street lamps and the corridor lights of the building, there seed to be no danger inside.

Seeing this, Chen Feng hesitated for a mont and then stepped forward.

Thud!

Just then, an exceptionally fast sound of footsteps suddenly echoed from behind him!
