The Undying Knight nudged his horse’s belly, ran a few steps, and pulled the reins.
He gazed at Zhou Leng’s back for a long ti, transferred the knight’s spear to his left hand, and looked down at his right hand.
Deep within his right hand, a cold chill froze.
He turned his horse’s head and charged into the land of eternal rest.
Zhou Leng observed that the Undying Knight was not pursuing him, so he gathered his True Qi, ran normally, and the scenes of their previous encounter flashed continuously in his mind.
Throughout the run, he was almost entirely imrsed in the whole experience.
Each flash of the scene deepened his understanding of the martial arts, moves, and fighting styles depicted in the images.
After repeatedly reminiscing for a long while, so commotion from the front startled Zhou Leng awake.
On the left front, a hundred kiloters away, a black sky curtain descended, resembling a black sandstorm slowly advancing.
"Devour the land..."
Zhou Leng felt a chill in his heart, accelerated to evade and escape.
The Great Battlefield, due to the residual powers of nurous Divine Spirits, could always form various strange phenona.
With even a slight carelessness, one might be destroyed by a mysterious power.
Utilizing Qi Manipulation, he sped up, no longer recalling the previous battle scenes.
Having escaped danger, he glanced back at the far-reaching dark sky curtain and resud his normal pace.
Only then did he have ti to recall the inexplicable scenes he had just rembered.
"This feeling..."
It did not appear before; it ford after undergoing the Divine Might Trial and the Mount Ascension Trial.
The process of Mount Ascension was very clear and straightforward, purely a test of physicality. Perhaps there were other trials at greater heights, but he had not experienced them.
However, the Divine Might Trial was a dual test of body and spirit.
Especially in the final place, where there was an impact of a Divine Spirit’s power.
If nothing unexpected happens, his newly acquired ability is related to the power of the Divine Spirit.
This power itself is not very effective, but if used repeatedly and accumulated slowly, it will surely beco an important aid on the path to Ascension to Divinity.
"Let’s call it... the Old Shadow of Martial Arts."
Zhou Leng tried again to find the old shadow of past martial arts, especially those related to the Ancient River Sect, but all attempts failed.
Currently, there is only one old shadow of martial arts related to the battle with the Black Knight.
Along the way, Zhou Leng repeatedly recalled the old shadow of martial arts while moving forward.
Before long, he ran to the edge of a great swamp.
There was no Divine Spirit power inside, but it was a hundred tis more dangerous than the previous Flaying Forest, hosting a variety of mutated monsters.
It is said that a divine poison once fell here, creating frantic bizarre creatures.
Zhou Leng pondered for a few seconds, kept his distance, and detoured.
After running for over ten minutes, an imnse rainbow light descended from the sky, like a giant jellyfish, enveloping the entire great swamp.
When the giant jellyfish landed, the great swamp vanished, replaced by a brand new mountain range.
Zhou Leng glanced at it, narrowing his eyes.
This was another common phenonon seen in the Great Battlefield, the Changing Land.
Two lands tens of thousands of miles apart had their positions swapped by so unknown force.
Zhou Leng’s entire body remained poised, moving swiftly.
After a grueling twenty-four-hour trek without sleep or rest, he finally saw an imnse stone monunt ahead.
"I’ve arrived..."
Zhou Leng let out a long breath of relief.
He climbed over a hill, stood on a small mountaintop, and looked forward.
Under the Tombstone of the Burial Star, battles raged fiercely.
One side was composed of giants, humans, Demon Spirit Masters, tree-n, and dwarfs, while the other side consisted of giant dragons, demons, beastn, and sea sirens.
The two sides clashed like two waves of the sea, colliding continuously.
Several enormous fierce beasts stood quietly nearby, observing the battle.
Zhou Leng looked around but did not see Xiaoba or Huang, so he continued to carefully observe the battlefield.
The demons here were not strong and did not include those top Sons of Demigods, but the number of dragons was plentiful, and their strength formidable.
He turned towards the human camp.
Upon doing so, he spotted several familiar figures, including Mountain and River Origin and Zhang Xinglie.
Zhou Leng leaped from the mountaintop, charging towards the imitation Tombstone of the Burial Star at a speed of 300 ters per second.
In the gaps between battles, both sides glanced distantly at the approaching figure.
The Demon Alliance saw just a re human martial artist and paid no mind.
The Humanoid Alliance saw only one person and also dismissed it.
But Mountain and River Origin and Zhang Xinglie had looks of delight, with both even waving their arms vigorously during combat.
"Zhou Leng!"
Zhou Leng also smiled, extending his arm without slowing his pace.
The Humanoid Alliance had not anticipated that the strongest Mountain and River Origin and Zhang Xinglie would recognize this person.
Mountain and River Origin laughed heartily, "With Zhou Leng here, we’re assured!"
"First repel them, then once the gravestone is deciphered, slaughter them all!"
The two laughed loudly, with golden cross star light flickering fleetingly in the depths of their eyes.
Berserkness and battle intent covered everyone’s faces.
As Zhou Leng drew nearer to the imitation Tombstone of the Burial Star, within ten kiloters, his originally blood-red eyes now flashed with golden cross stars.
Frenzied blood light and belligerent golden light erupted simultaneously.
Zhou Leng’s entire body felt overheated, his face seemingly calm, but the slightly upturned corners of his mouth revealed an unprecedented savagery.
As he pressed forward, Zhou Leng’s killing intent only grew stronger.
Gradually, the edges of his eyes began to emit a faint blood-red and golden glow.
"All of you, die."
As Zhou Leng approached the battlefield, he suddenly accelerated, dashing straight towards the nearest Sea Siren squad.
Boom.
His hands separated, and with forefingers and middle fingers together forming swords, two Void-Breaking Finger Sword Qi, each two feet long, tore through the air.
He passed by at supersonic speed.
Sss...
The heads of the two closest Great Innate Sea Sirens flew into the air, fish blood spraying skyward. Their hands frantically slapped and groped at their necks, as if trying to block the wounds and reattach their heads.
He executed the Dragon Flash Step with full force.
Zhou Leng was like a fleeting shadow, flowing and impacting among the slower Sea Sirens.
Wherever he passed, heads flew.
Water walls were ineffective, water vortices were ineffective, and even large Water Shields were ineffective...
All of the Water Elent powers, like the heads of the Sea Sirens, were pierced through with a single sword.
Only one giant sea turtle was different. The two-foot-long Sword Qi rely made a cut on its neck.
The next mont, this giant sea turtle did sothing ordinary turtles couldn’t do; it retracted its head, limbs, and tail into its shell.
Zhou Leng no longer concerned himself with the retreating demon turtle and continued the slaughter.
The unluckiest were a few Sea Sirens, Sons of the Demi-God. If they were in the water, they could have easily repelled Zhou Leng with combined efforts.
But on land, their only difference from the ordinary Great Innate Sea Sirens was that they lasted three more moves.
Having gone through the Star Climbing Mountain trials, Zhou Leng possessed Giant Power that didn’t match his body, along with unmatched speed.
This one man cast away the shortcomings of both races, combining their strengths.
Zhang Xinglie and Mountain and River Origin occasionally glanced at Zhou Leng.
Zhang Xinglie laughed heartily; Mountain and River Origin was shocked and trembling.
How did this Zhou Leng truly beco a Frost Giant?
A Great Innate Giant shouted, "Mountain and River Origin, what’s up with your human friend? I swear he feels like my dad."
"No, he’s more like your ancestor," another Giant half-joked.
In less than twenty seconds, a total of twenty-four Sea Sirens died by Zhou Leng’s hands.
Except for that giant demon turtle.
"Retreat!" shouted the Three-headed Steel Dragon Wind of Grey Steel, leading his subordinates to slowly back away.
The other Dragons and Demons saw this and were forced to ceasefire, quickly retreating.
Both sides stopped fighting.
The Dragons were unsatisfied, but understood that the Wind of Grey Steel was right.
They didn’t care about the life or death of the Sea Sirens, but the complete annihilation of them would be a huge blow to morale.
The Beastn were so frightened their legs went weak.
A Red Dragon shouted, "Collaborator of the Queen of Red Eyes, why are you helping the Giants?"
Zhou Leng recalled seeing this dragon in the Red Dragon Nest and said, "Servant of Her Majesty the Queen, you’d better leave imdiately. Once the battle begins, I won’t be able to take care of you."
The Wind of Grey Steel shouted, "Though you are human and a collaborator with the Dragon Race, we Dragons trust you. Please be the diator to ensure this trial minimizes battles. We don’t want to fight, but we don’t trust the brute Giants."
The Giants all began cursing.
Zhou Leng glanced around at the battlefield littered with nearly a hundred corpses, realizing both sides were tired of fighting.
"Let both sides ceasefire for now, organize your battlefield, and we will discuss in detail later," Zhou Leng repeated in multiple languages.
Only then did both sides cease fire, dragging back their fallen comrades.
The giant demon turtle dragged the bodies of 24 Sea Sirens, glanced at Zhou Leng, then at the empty bodies, frowning.
"Zhou Leng!" Zhang Xinglie and Mountain and River Origin approached warmly.
The others looked at Zhou Leng curiously; so knew him, so had heard of him, but most weren’t familiar.
They couldn’t understand how Zhou Leng suddenly beca so fierce, slaying Sea Sirens as easily as chickens.
"Are you all okay?" Zhou Leng asked.
"Just so winged lizards, nothing much," said Mountain and River Origin.
"How did you suddenly beco so fierce? Your strength and speed definitely surpass now," Zhang Xinglie scrutinized Zhou Leng carefully.
Zhou Leng replied, "I entered the Remnant Sky Bone and got lucky, acquiring quite a bit of strength. Once you guys complete the trial, you’ll be the sa."
"The Star Climbing Mountain?" Mountain and River Origin suddenly asked, startling the nearby Giants.
"We’ll talk later; you guys quickly co up with a result, so I can negotiate. I’m going over to the Dragons to see what’s happening with them."
"I’ll go with you!" said Zhang Xinglie.
"No, you handle things here, I can go alone. Do it as quickly as possible, delay will invite trouble."
"Alright."
Zhou Leng walked alone towards the Giant Dragon Camp.
The Demons and Beastn were both angered and frightened. The Dragons were just unhappy but not hostile.
The collaborator of the Queen of Red Eyes had a very intimidating reputation, as no one knew just how despicable he might really be.
Zhou Leng exchanged brief words with the Red Dragon, asked the Dragon Race for a plan, and then walked towards the Fierce Beasts.
Everyone watched Zhou Leng curiously, whispering to each other, not understanding why he dared to provoke the Fierce Beasts, who were respected as demigods among the Ten Realms.
The Fierce Beasts couldn’t speak in other world languages, so Zhou Leng gestured, asking if they had seen the Eight-toothed Mammoth.
The Fierce Beasts understood and shook their heads.
Then, Zhou Leng took out so at and various items, placing a large pile before them, gesturing for a trade with the Fierce Beasts.
The Fierce Beast Realm’s dicinal Fruits, although great, were tireso, so they picked out so food and interesting items, completing the trade with Zhou Leng.
Zhou Leng left with the highly valuable Fierce Beast dicine Fruits, as the Fierce Beasts quietly conversed, puzzled at how this human had the aura of Fierce Beasts, wondering if he wasn’t a human but a Fierce Ape instead?
It’s a pity he’s lost all the hair on his body.
Many of the Great Innate on both sides hadn’t thought much of Zhou Leng, but seeing him not only retreat safely before the Fierce Beasts but also trade a heap of trash for a large quantity of the Ten Realm’s rare dicinal Fruits, they began to reassess him.
